Re: Team Marie Triumphs in Splatoon's Final Splatfest

WindWakerLink

Sweet! Team Marie won!!! Woohoo!!! Marie was always my favorite between her and Callie since day 1. Heh.

The final Splatfest ending in an epic splat-tastic performances from all the players! I'm really going to miss them. Splatfest was the only reason I came back to play Splatoon due to having other games I'm playing that take priority like Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Thanks for all the fun, laughs and excitement Splatfest. We will miss you!!! As always,

"STAY FRESH!!!!!!"

@HSuzumiyaVI "It was TOO MUCH ZELDA!" LAWZ! XD XD Kidding! Kidding! It was really enjoyable for what it was. What kept it lovely for me was to see the Treehouse people there playing, discussing, joking around, having developers talking about their stuff...that's what I wanted! I'm glad I kept my expectations low because they surprised me which is what I secretly hoped for. Haha. The Zelda...wow. Awesome. But I'm kinda like "umm.... guys. You're showing too much! I'm already sold on getting the game! Please stop! XD "
The Sun & Moon stuff was great. It was good to see the producer and new director for Sun & Moon. Day 2 stuff was good too. I'm really looking forward to E3 2017 even more so from Nintendo. It's gonna be ALL KINDS OF AWESOME!

SN: Sorry for my late reply. I just notice the notification to your reply.

Re: Editorial: With Lowered Expectations E3 Can Still Be Full of Nintendo Magic

I'm just "whatever" about Nintendo's E3 this year. At least I have Microsoft and Sony's E3 to look forward too. I'm more excited for those two than I am for Nintendo's which is really saying a lot because I'm more of a Nintendo person. Tsk. Tsk. I kinda wished they wouldnt show Sun and Moon because I dont appreciate that those games being spoiled. If I dont watch it, my friends will spoil it for me so I might as well watch it?

I said this a few months ago and I'll say it again: I'm MUCH MORE excited for Nintendo's E3 2017 because NX stuff will or should be reveal by then and the games that will follow suit. We just gotta bear though this year's Nintendo E3 people. Yea.

Re: Soapbox: Can Mario Party Return To Its Former Glory?

WindWakerLink

Totally agree with this article!!!!!
MP2 will probably always be my favorite Mario Party game. Loved MP3 especially that Battle Mode thing. I wasnt going to get MP6 until I saw that they had that Basketball mini game. Yes. That 1 mini was my ONLY reason for getting MP6. XD MP6 was fun and all but I think that's were the series took a change. In MP6 all the stars the players collected added towards the bank to ultimately see what happens of the argument between the Sun & Moon. [Pokemon references! Eh? Eh??! XD ]
Anyway, if all the stars we are collecting adds towards the main bank of MP6, then what was the point of stealing stars from other people? It didnt matter if you won or lost. Everyone contributed towards this end goal. I didn't like that too much. MP7 brings back the classic feel to the earlier MP games. The MP8....eeeee. MP9...and MP10.... Okay.

MP9...we are all together now? What kind of friendly BS is this??!! This is Mario Party! We fight! We argue! We send Boos to steal stuff from each other! Not cart a cart together! No! Just no! I hope MP10 wouldn't bring that back but they did.... sigh....
MP10 is basically that Board Map in Mario Party 8 where Bowser is chasing you. How lazy is that?? I couldnt bring myself to buy MP9 & MP10. I still go back in play the earlier Mario Party games because those we MUCH MORE exciting & thrilling & suspenseful than these recent ones. I hope MP11 will go back to what made itself great too....but I feel that Nintendo wont do that. They feel like "Paper Mario Sticker Star" stuff.....

Re: Nintendo Seems To Be Deleting Super Mario Maker Levels Without Explanation Or Warning

WindWakerLink

I had two of my stages removed with no reason behind it. The 1st one I was able to reupload but didnt cuz I was mad. The 2nd one it was removed but Nintendo wont allow me to reuploaded it. It's dumb cuz the 2nd stage that got removed literary is a super mario world theme of flying around collecting coins! THAT'S IT!!!!! Only 1 baddy in the whole level! Why was it banned?! It's things like this that make me wonder "what's the point of even making stages & uploading them if you are just going to ban them Nintendo???" Whatever man. Hashtag: Annoyed! Hashtag: Get yo crap together Nintendo!

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Fortress of Secrecy Needs to Tighten Security for the Year Ahead

WindWakerLink

@Yorumi You do have a point. However, it's more of a excitement killer with the leaks is all. I'm happy for Sun & Moon but not excited because of the leak. Same things with the leak of Ryu & Roy. When stuff wasn't leak it was super exciting like Cloud's reveal in Smash bros or the Super Mario Maker updates from 3/3/16 Nintendo Direct. It's all perspective in the end I guess.

Re: Review: Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 (Wii U eShop / GBA)

WindWakerLink

Wow! A 10 out of 10! I dont see that on nintendo life too often.
The e-reader levels are a nice addition. But my main reason for getting this is to play Super Mario 3 in its SNES graphics vs the NES version. I grew up with the SNES version of SMB 3 so that's why. When I played the airships levels with nighttime setting and thunder in the background.... in this version I died of the awesomeness! ^__^ SO GOOD!!! THE FEELS!!! ^__^

Re: Feature: What We Expect from Nintendo Direct - 12th November

WindWakerLink

Finally this site is working me me again!!! It's been months since I could visit Nintendo Life and comment from my main place. Yes!!!

Now as for the today's Nintendo Direct, I don't expect too much. Keep my expectations low so I won't be disappointed. The Nintendo site already confirms that no NX info will be in this direct today. Meh. Let's see how it goes.

Re: Review: Gunman Clive HD Collection (Wii U eShop)

WindWakerLink

I'll probably get this bundle. both games are SO GOOD on the 3DS! the music & art style are suberb! Favorite stages in the 1st game are 9 & 11. For the 2nd game its that tetris level and the boss right that level. the music in those stages fit so well. the final boss in the 2nd game...."plot twist!!!!!" I did not expect it!!!!

Re: Nintendo TVii Service Ends In North America On 11th August

WindWakerLink

I'll miss it. I discovered a lot of old and news shows because of Nintendo TVii. I like that I could highlight my favorite shows on its guide so that I could c when they would randomly play. if the update eliminates the feature I wonder if I can just not update the system until I really have to. looking at you 'standby feature'

Re: 3DS Hits 15 Million Sales Landmark in the US

WindWakerLink

Wow! 15 million in the USA? whistle
what makes me really excited about this news is that 3D Land, MK 7, Smash Bros sold over 2 million but even more excited that pokemon x & y were on this list. Yea, X & Y were super easy, especially with experience share on, but the games were fun! Plus, we got pokemon that go into "bankai" forms with their megas. XD

Re: Mighty No. 9 Features on Wii U and 3DS Versions are Outlined

WindWakerLink

Like someone said above "people were expecting amiibo support?!" Pfft! Guys & gals the wii u version isnt even getting the signature edition like the xbox1 & ps4 versions r getting. the least they could give is miiverse support....and we not even getting that?!!! whistle "Dang.... I know. I know. we should be lucky we r even getting the game...blah blah blah... but this is kinda BS. Just a little bit man. Just a little bit."

Re: Treyarch Isn't Working on Call of Duty: Black Ops III For Wii U, Though Activision is Noncommittal

WindWakerLink

I'm just surprise how surprise people are about Call of Duty Black Ops III not coming to the Wii U. I mean, isn't it that obvious? I hate that I have to get other system to play games like this or Mortal Kombat X. People say "People don't buy Nintendo for 3rd party games..." but what about back in the NES/SNES/N64 days? Most of the 3rd party stuff was rule on Nintendo systems. I don't get it...3rd party stuff was SO GREAT on Nintendo platforms back then. What happen?? sigh I don't know man...I don't know...
