Re: Reminder: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds 'Open Network Test' For Switch Is Now Live

Played on Switch 2 docked; so being a Switch 1 game, presentation is "up to" 1080p30; yuk.
Ground physics felt both sloppy and stiff; way off. Air travel was better. Items were lackluster at best. On the bright side, the portals à la Ratchet & Clank was pretty cool and seems like it could be more enjoyable than MKW connecting/highway paths.
Also, the story and upgrade systems should provide a lot more depth.
Hopefully they will have a Switch 2 demo at launch.

Re: My Nintendo Store Restocks Exclusive Kirby Reward (North America)

@KevinP I can understand the resentment; it's just funny to see someone jump on a post like this to express it.

The physical rewards available in North America really kinda are garbage grade; especially compared to what it used to be. Used my physical copy of Bananza as an opportunity to get free shipping on the Mario Tote Bag and the DK Bananza Napkin; pretty weak stuff.

@cvrator Dug a lil deeper in the meantime; turns out the main issue with 3rd party Switch 2 docks is they often are obstructing the bottom air intake because manufacturers are reusing their old Switch 1 designs.

Re: Anniversary: No Way Is Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island 30 Years Old Already

At launch, this game was largely overlooked by the public. It was not even considered a real Mario game. A Mario game where you don't even play Mario? This was more like a Mario Land 3: Wario Land situation. Also people really weren't thrilled about the pastel colors. Playstation was out/just around the corner. This kiddy game made you care for a a baby throughout the entire adventure. This was not the Mario World 2 most people were looking for.
