@SuntannedDuck2 Virtual Boy emulators have been available for over 25 years on pc and 15 years on Android.

It really is only a matter of "will my device fit inside" and "what trickery is Nintendo going to use in order to lock it down".

Pre-ordered both models but not even an Expansion pack subscriber; I'm just assuming it should work with pretty much any large phone or sub 8 inches tablet.

I'm good; already waiting for those Virtual Boy thingies I have absolutely zero use for.

The game is not even 6 weeks old and they are already on their SECOND content update?
Same for Hades 2, which now has a completely different endgame.
Why bother with physical copies at this point.

I like the manga style of the Japanese version but it is a bit too busy.
The US version is a piece of art. I wouldn't mind a full size poster or something.

At launch, "Skyrim has stopped working" was often the only quest available.

Got both for the lolz. Not even an NSO Expansion subscriber, but I figure it should work with any phone/small tablet. Hopefully anyway.. =S

@ShadLink @pspooky Skyrim doesnt support HDR natively. but most current platforms will allow HDR tonemapping. Xbox calls it AutoHDR.. On Switch 2, it's just a settings toggle: "Use HDR on ALL software"/"None"/"Only software that supports it".

Switch 2 award has to go to Bananza, but it's not a wash. DK is a solid 8/10, but not quite a 9; the missing point is available in the form of full price DLC unfortunately.

Got a 17-something inches portable display with mini HDMI, mini DP and 2 USB-C that will do 4K60 or 1440p@144hz plus a 3rd party dongle-dock and 60w USB-C PSU for 230$CAD from AliExpress, so yeah. Wishing those guys good luck.

You don't remake Chrono Trigger for the same reason you don't remake Casablanca or Citizen Kane.
They can port the original to every support under the sun if they feel like it but you just can't alter the core experience. It is meant to be played as it is.
If they want to make a new one they are more than welcome to, but the original should have untouchable status for it's a work of art and a piece of history.

Fully stocked up during BF/CM, and the reviews are not exactly fantastic; there will be plenty of used copies floating around soon enough. Will get it at some point, but I can wait.

Still gotta add the 14.99$ upgrade to that 81.50$ voucher to reach Switch 2 level, so the difference is insignificant.

@Noelemahc How does that dock look like? They are basically all coming out of the same factories; I had no issues updating my "2 Need use Switch" dongle with the Jemdo firmware.. 5 minutes and I was good to go.

It is too big to fail at this point. They are going to make money hands over fists, but the franchise will be tainted forever.

I knew this would be a disaster when I saw Zelda 2 being n°34 but hot damm everything below 10 is really messed up.

Looks like there's a bit of a cat & mouse game going on; several 3rd party manufacturers have already released firmware updates for their dongles, including Jemdo and TANATRA. It's floating around reddit.

Of course it's not. Everybody Switch 2 owner has a Nintendo dock as "main".

3rd party docks are always used for that 2nd or 3rd TV set, or as a portable solution. Why move the bulky Nintendo dock around and always mess with the camera, ethernet, etc.

A 3rd party dongle was perfect on the go.

These numbers look totally acceptable, but there are just too many kart racers atm; Kirby Air Riders seem absolutely packed with content, and we still don't know what Nintendo is cooking for MKW, but surely, they are going to come up with SOMETHING..
Plus, we all know CrossWorlds is going to be first to be heavily discounted, sooo... yeah.

Did Switch 2 really needed 3 different high profile kart racers in the first six months tho?

Even going for a second one was unnecessarily early as long as we don't know the plans for Mario Kart World DLC.

Mario Galaxy 1+2 should be added to the Free section for consistency and clarity.

HOWEVER, it is wrong to call those "Switch 1 performance patch", because it's not really what the patches are addressing.

The extra performance is already baked into the new console; what those patches are improving is the internal resolution and/or are adding Gameshare support.
