sorry wut?
"multiple audio issues // and good old-fashioned crashes"?
What are you talking about, and to what extent it this true? Because I have over 1100 unmodded hours in this game on pc and I cannot remember what year was the last time it crashed.
And audio issues are 100% new to me, and none of the reviews I've came across so far ever mentioned something like that.

So yeah I'm confused.

@Shade_Koopa There is more to it than that I'm afraid.

1st gen G-Sync did rely on the hardware G-Sync module (now called "G-Sync Ultimate") but nowadays the Nvidia driver will see any Freesync display as "G-Sync compatible" and allow VRR.

Also; Freesync is license free (maybe open source), but NOT universal. AppleTV and some of the latest AndroidTV/GoogleTV set-top boxes support HDMI-Forum standards in order to leverage (sigh) another sub-feature: QMS, aka Quick Media Switching. But that won't work if the tv/monitor only supports G-Sync or Freesync.
