Re: Fortnite Copies From Among Us' Homework With New 'Impostors' Mode

Wakkawipeout

I don't see the issue with Fortnite copying Among Us. It's not like people will stop playing Among Us wholesale just because Fortnite Impostors mode exists. If anything, it might turn more people on to the Mafia/Werewolf concept all within a game they already play. And if they're curious, they could always check out Among Us to see where they cribbed the idea.

If Among Us is that greatly affected by this, then maybe it's time for Among Us to evolve. PUBG had to improve because of Fortnite. And Apex Legends jumped in because they did something the other two didn't. It's an all-around win.

Hell, this might force Innersloth to drop the quickchat wheel and bring back the chat functionality for all players that made the game a phenomenon in the first place. If we get a better Among Us out of this whole deal, then that's splendid.

The Last Campfire. The premise might be a little macabre and at times can feel sad but that makes it all the more remarkable just how hopeful the game is underneath it all. It's a game about helping people struggling with regret, doubt, fear and loneliness and moving forward from the past no matter how much it hurts. It is a truly uplifting game that believes in the good inside us all.

Re: Nintendo Life Weekly: Star Fox Zero may be Delayed Again According to Rumours, Nintendo Selects and More

@Sligeach Nintendo seems so averse to just making a great Star Fox game like the SNES original or Star Fox 64. It's what every fan of the series wants. Nothing more, nothing less. No gimmicky controls. Amazing graphics. Smooth online multiplayer. What's so hard about that?

It's the same frustrating reasoning they use for not making F-Zero games. At least they try making new Star Fox games. But that's not saying much.

So, what I'm getting from the comments here is everyone just wanted to play a refined version of the same game they played in 2004 with a couple new ideas thrown into the mix? People hate on the New Super Mario Bros. games for being too similar but I guess if it's been a few years, everyone's okay with playing the same thing. I'm not saying Sticker Star doesn't have issues (I haven't played it yet) but it's sad to see people would rather Nintendo release the same stuff but slightly remixed.
