It's finally here, folks. After what feels like an age of trailers and Directs galore, this week finally saw the release of Splatoon 3! Here at Nintendo Life, we have you covered for all things concerning ink, squids and merchandise (or should we say Murch-andice?) We have put together a comprehensive Tips, Tricks and Hints guide to help you on your way in the game, as well as information on the newest My Nintendo Store Splatoon-themed rewards.
Normally, one major Nintendo franchise would be enough to fill us up for the week, but in the last seven days, we have been given even more. We once again got excited about rumblings in the Zelda rumour mill, as words of an upcoming Nintendo Direct intensified, and we broke down all the incoming news from the newest Pokémon Scarlet and Violet trailer including the newest Pokémon, three different storylines and the all-new OLED system.
With our review of Disney Dreamlight Valley and words on JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R going up on the site this week, we are ready for a weekend packed full of gaming to really get our teeth into some of the September titles which have already reached us.
Now, some of our wonderful writers have shared what their plans are for the weekend below and we would love to hear what you guys are up to in the comments below! Will it be a Splatoon 3 blow-out? Happy reading!
Jim Norman, staff writer
I will kick us off with the obvious option this week. I am hoping to spend my time mostly diving into the world of Splatoon 3. I have been working away on our guides for the game over the past few days, so it will be nice to take a couple of hours to play the game for my own pleasure - it really is something!
Apart from that, I am really keeping to take the much smaller Haiku the Robot out for a spin. Its release date was somewhat overshadowed by the splatty drop on the same day, but this dystopian robot roguelike is beautiful to look at and promises some really fun times.
We are in for quite the weekend of gaming!
Alana Hagues, staff writer
For some reason, I’ve been playing Loop Hero on and off again. It’s a brilliant roguelike, auto battler, deck builder hybrid and, some evenings, it’s all I’ve felt like sinking my teeth into. There’s something very mesmerising about watching my little Rogue hero walk around and around these randomised dystopian loops!
Otherwise, this weekend, I wish I could go back and tell my kid self that Disney and Animal Crossing would one day combine to create Disney Dreamlight Valley. I want to check this one out on Game Pass while I can, and while I’m not sure it’ll suck me in as much as New Horizons did a few years back, I can’t deny that I just want to see Choco Crocodile in the flesh.
Ollie Reynolds, staff writer
No Splatoon 3 for me I’m afraid folks! Not yet, anyway. This weekend, I’ll be diving back into the extraordinary world of Disco Elysium: The Final Cut. The more I play this game, the more I’m convinced that it’s one of my all-time favourites; the writing and sense of place is simply unparalleled! So yes, that will no doubt take up much of my time.
Elsewhere, I’m quite eager to play through the entirety of Telltale’s The Walking Dead. I’ve only ever played through the first two seasons, and although my general understanding is that the quality seemingly drops off as you go further along, I recently bought the ‘Definitive Series’ on PS5 so I can play through it from start to finish.
As ever, thank you for reading! Make sure to leave us a comment below with your weekend gaming plans!

Splatoon 3 of course. Loving it so far. All the little improvements really add up to make it a more refined experience vs 2, which was previously my favourite Switch game until now. I’ll have very limited internet connection over the next couple weeks so I’m making the most of the multiplayer modes while I still can and I’ll sink my teeth into single player when I go offline during my travels.
Much like the past month or so, I’m playing two games. Breath of the Wild and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The former, I’m replaying for the first time since launch, the latter with me being unfashionably late to the party. Well, to the series actually, as it’s my first AC game. Both, in my opinion, are utterly exceptional.
Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!
Continuing with Dark Souls 1 on the Switch!
I am absorbed by the game!
I am just before the boss fight with Ornstein and Smough!
Splatoon 3 going through the story mode and afterwards some of the online stuff. Outside that, maybe some DioField Chronicle demo, MK8 Deluxe and Switch Sports.
Doom 1 co-op with a buddy tonight and propably something with a lot of painting
Also finally started The Last Guardian a couple days ago which has been in the backlog for far too long
Do you even have to ask?
Um Splatoon 3 duh 😂
I have to work this weekend so not a lot of gaming, but I plan to continue my Super Mario Galaxy playthrough. I'll probably also sprinkle in some Super Mario Maker 2 since that is a great game when you only have a few minutes to play.
Splatoon 3! Although I’ll have to fight my son for it. Played a bit yesterday and enjoyed it, although my skills are a little rusty.
It’s rare I can say I’m playing a game that just came out. I feel so relevant!
Picked up Dead Effect 2 in the Xbox sale.
I'm pleasantly surprised for a budget title.
On Switch, it's still Gems of war.
I intend on picking up Splatoon 3 soon but in the meantime it's Monster Hunter and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania for me
Mostly just Splatoon 3 for me. Been playing basically non-stop in all my free time. I need to find some time to finish off the last little bit of Fatal Twelve as well though.
If I play, it'd probably be a little bit of Fire Emblem Fates and Mighty Milky Way
Obviously Splatoon 3!
More Xenoblade Chronicles 3 post game and a bit of Kirby and The Forgotten Land
Playing Link’s Awakening this weekend, my first time ever (I’m very late to this party, I know.)
Wishing everyone a great weekend!
Splatoon 3. Was up until 7:30am this morning playing it and now I'm worn out but I'll be fine. I just have some housework to do first before I can play though. Look out for DarkNebula, that's me.
Disney Magical World 2, Enchanted Edition. Just started a new game again after playing thru last winter. This game is so much better than the new Disney Dreamlight Valley. Much more visually appealing and genuinely fun, and of course very cute and very Disney.
@Kiyata
I was surprised how good the game is. The artstyle is really great and I think Disney should keep going with their classic style.
Playing Dark Chronicle for the PlayStation 2. Started the third chapter yesterday. The weapon mechanics are interesting. I like the music and atmosphere.
Happy gaming everyone.
I finished Xenoblade 3 just in time for Splatoon 3, so I'll be playing that this weekend! I've played a bit already, and while it doesn't have any major changes compared to 2, I'm still having a lot of fun and enjoying all the smaller ones! I'll also likely spend some time with Xenoblade 3 still since I still have a number of sidequests to complete.
Elsewhere, more MultiVersus and JoJo on my Steam Deck both seem pretty likely. I'm thinking about starting something else up on my PS5 as well, just need to decide what game to play there. I'm thinking either returning to Lego Star Wars or Returnal.
Just Cause 3 on my PS4.
My CE of Infernax and Treasures of the Aegean on Switch finally arrived from LRG so I will be playing those too.
Bioshock 2 on the Switch for me. And some Halo on the Series S
Gonna continue Bowsers Inside Story on the 3ds! I bought the DS version at launch, and its one of my favourite games ever, so I was SO happy to see that they did the remake justice!
Chugging away at Soul Hackers 2 on the Deck.
I just finished Assassins Creed Syndicate on the Xbox.
Maybe it’s finally time to start Disco Elysium
Still finishing off my Xenoblade 1 replay - I’m in the ‘final act’ along with some Just Dance with the kids.
@SugarKane - keep in with XC2 the payoff at the end is worth it!
Almost finished with Mina's route in Kinkoi: Golden Time! After this I'll go back to The Labyrinth of Grisaia.
Been playing Monark for the past week, a SRPG that somewhat recently released that did have some former Shin Megami Tensei guys working on it apparently. Having made my way well into the game by now I can see some of that I think.
Game's been pretty decent, I generally prefer my SRPGs mechanically a bit more simple and there's some issues with balancing but it's not too bad. The art is nice, the music isn't bad and barring a few things I've enjoyed the story well enough.
Splatoon 3,
Pokémon Legends Arceus,
World of Warcraft,
Animal Crossing
I'm not sure if I'll be playing anything, but if I do, I just received my physical copy of Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series in the mail, so I would very much like to crack into that. Klonoa is one of my favourite series of all time.
@Snatcher Kinkoi: Golden Time like me? 😁
Monster Hunter Rise on Steam Deck and Pac-Man World on Switch. I own both original Pac-Man World games on PS1 and #3 on OG Xbox, but never got around to them.
After over two years of sitting on my shelf, I'll finish Deadly Premonition 2. Not as fun as the original, or charming or pretty much anything, but still has some soul and York is a likeable weirdo.
Xenoblade 3 for sure, plus a decent amount of Isaac and my repeated failed runs therein on a quest for some more lategame unlocks. Also quite probable on Switch are the other Xenoblades, Code Shifter and Saints Row 4, Rune Factory 5 and Bioshock 2, Long Live the Queen (hey, don't give me that look) and A Little Lily Princess, Danganronpa and Little Noah, Undermine and Everspace, Bloodstained and Ender Lilies... yeah, I'm back to my usual unrealistic appetites again.😅 I even have my laptop with me today, so some PC stuff like RE2, GTA4 DLC or FFXIII isn't ruled out, and neither are the handheld playthroughs like Unwound Future, Endless Frontier, FE Echoes, Tales of Eternia or God Eater. Whatever I end up covering this weekend will be sure to include at least a few of the aforenamed titles in the end.
I am playing TemTem this weekend.
My copy of Splatoon 3 should be arriving today, so I hope to delve into that.
I'm also spending a lot of time on Disney's Dreamlight Valley. There's a lot to do, even in its early state. I'm playing on the Xbox, though, as the performance is better.
I recently picked up the TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection, so I started the day off playing TMNT: Tournament Fighters. I’ll probably start TMNT: Turtles In Time as well this weekend.
Outside of that, I’ll probably also do a few rounds of bowling via Nintendo Switch Sports with the wife.
This week I will be mostly playing
Splatoon 3
Pokémon Shuffle
I played these games. 🙂

1. K-1 World MAX 2005 PS2
2. Starfox Assault Gamecube
3. Bomberman Generation Gamecube
Splatoon 3
Just played my first few Salmon Runs. I never really got into Salmon Run back in Splatoon 2, I was more of a ranked battle guy. I've tried every game mode now. The only thing I haven't checked out are the lockers. Didn't come across them the first time I ran through the hub world.
The game is awesome. I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up playing it even more than the first two. I'm also glad that the card game is actually fun too. I hope it'll get its online mode soon. There are plenty of tables in the lobby and the shoal but you can't actually play online yet.
Oh, and as a side note, I finished Octo Expansion just few hours before 3's launch and it's just as great as I've heard. I especially liked the stuff at the end.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Chapter 5. Haven't played much this week. There's a lot to explore.
PICROSS S MEGA DRIVE & Master System edition
~20 hours played. Last page of Mega Picross left and I've solved every puzzle in the game.
Finally going to have enough time to beat Xenoblade 3 tonight!
I was completely planned to get splatoon 3 as soon as I got out of school yesterday, that was until I received a text from my AP US gov teacher and spent all of last night working on an assignment instead :/
Animal Crossing and maybe some Splatoon 2. Or maybe I'll actually play something from my ever growing backlog. Anything could happen.
MK8D to kick things off, then it's XC2: Torna: The Golden Country the rest of the way.
I’m getting woomy with Splatoon 3 like many others this weekend. I’ve barely started but enjoying how snappy the multiplayer has been so far, and was pleased to see you can draw posts with a stylus in handheld mode. I’ll try some salmon runs and single player today.
Mainly today I’m playing Stray Cat Life Sim, because one wandered into my yard last weekend and adopted me. She’s an older kitten and quite feisty, and I’m not sure if she’ll be happy or not stuck in my little house.
Aaaanyway, have a fine weekend everyone!
I’m in an Oddworld mood so I finally cracked open Soulstorm and giving that a shot. Only on the second level but I really do love the darker tone it’s going for.
Still chipping away at Xenoblade 3. On Chapter 6 and doing whatever side quests I can. Such a sparking good game!
Splatoon 3 and Xenoblade Chronicles: DE.
Both are extremely fun and it is hard to decide which one to play but I hope to strike a nice balance between the two.
My main focus is still on Xenoblade Chronicles 3. 75 hours in, STILL on chapter 5, and working through the plot again. Still a few Stretchmo puzzles on 3DS too.
Have a great weekend!
I am wanting to get the Cowabunga Collection & Splatoon 3, but I also can’t put Ooblets down. Between todoozies, wishys, gummies, and dance battles, I’m hooked.
Splatoon 3 all weekend!
Had myself a birthday week & decided to finish off a classic whilst starting another. Limbo was the first off my list & boy did it live up to the hype. From the art style to the puzzles I had a hard time putting it down. I hope to get to Inside someday
In the meantime I started & finished two other classics, The Legend of Zelda & Super Mario Bros on the Switch NES app. In the matter of 5 days I had gotten all the way to Death Mountain and the final dungeon in Zelda. I believe it to be very under appreciated and I’m enjoying it for what it is. The final fight was my only plea for a harder challenge. As for Mario, much simpler times but fun overall. To counter my retro obsession I’m at chapter 14 of FF7 Remake on my PS5 & pleasantly enjoying the story & graphics. Being my first Final Fantasy besides Tactics Advance, my hope is that the door swings open so I may try my hand at a couple more Final Fantasy titles in the near future
I think I’m at the end of Chapter 6 in XC2. And honestly, it’s probably all I will play. Hoping to complete some side quests that I’ve been putting off, and there are a couple unique enemy types that I want to go back and take down. Happy gaming ya’ll!
Xenoblade Chronicles 3!
I’ve been taking big bites out of it for a month now, and soaking in the side quests.
Smash Bros Ultimate! After 4 Years of trying different characters, I've finally settled on a main: Joker! So, I'm going to try and practice some combos.
Splatoon 3, of course. I spent almost all day playing through and beating the story mode yesterday. Loved it! I haven't even played Turf War or the other modes yet. That will be this weekend!
I'm not sure what to play this weekend...
I fell in love with XC1 Definitive so much that I picked up 2+EP and 3. Just started Xenoblade 2 after wrapping up XC1 DE + Future Connected at about 110 hours; Xenoblade 2 has already been quite enjoyable so far, currently at Chapter 3, 14 hours in.
Still at with the nostalgia of TMNT Cowabunga Collection. Then some Xenoblade 2.
Splatoon 3 (says guy with dumb splatoon username)
More side quests in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for me! I also played a few matches of Splatoon 3 last night and had a blast! I'll probably play more of that today as well.
I’m getting wonderfully and hopelessly distracted in Yakuza 0, and also some JoJo All Star Battle.
BLAZBLUE CENTRALFICTION Special Edition — Completed Arcade Mode playing as Platinum the Trinity and Kagura Mutsuki.
Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour — have a little progress in Death Row level. Somehow, I've lost direction where I need to go... Yep...
Well... That's all what I've played on this week. Have a nice gaming weekend, everyone.
Edit: I've forgotten about Danganronpa...
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc — I'm on 18th or 19th day in School Mode, if I don't confuse. Spending trip tickets on Byakuya for no reason. It's my 2nd run of School Mode, because I've lost the first run. I'm hope to beat School Mode this time...
@Farts_Ahoy does Soul Hackers 2 take much tinkering to play on Steam Deck?
A bit of Splatoon 3 but otherwise not much on Switch, just a little bit of grinding and questing in Xenoblade 3. On 3ds I'm still going through the DLC paralogues for Awakening and on PS4, hopefully, a bit more Persona 5 Royal, I just sent the calling card for the 5th palace so I may go and run through that as well.
Xenoblade and more Xenoblade.
Xenoblade chronicles 3 still. And tmnt III.
I'm a bit scattered... For some reason I decided to do simultaneous Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 playthroughs, and I also picked up Cross Code on sale and I'm playing that on the side. But then a friend convinced me to finally give Xenoblade Chronicles a try and so I'll likely be setting all of the other ones aside when that arrives
Just hopped on the ACNH train, now that everyone else has disembarked. Good ol’ isle of Semprini.
My four games on the go now are the newly released Splatoon 3 (It doesn't reinvent the wheel but it's more Splatoon which after 5 years is more than welcome), and my continued playthroughs of Xenoblade 3 (45 hours in and by the looks of it nowhere near the end) and Neon White (under-talked about)
And of course my usual Ringfit Adventure. Finally got past one of those annoying 'complete this mission in x amount of steps' that was really killing my motivation with it.
I’m actually not going to pick up Splatoon until around the Holiday Season, mainly because I have some other things I need to finish and by the time I do that Mario+Rabbids, Sonic, and Gen 9 will be out. Still going strong with Xenoblade 3. I have absolutely fallen in love with the characters, and just everything about the game. I’m pretty sure I’m almost done with Chapter 2, might even finish it tonight.
I managed to get the 100% ending for Shantae and the Seven Sirens (not as "100%" as it sounds, thankfully), so I'm going through the game again, making plans to get the other ending screens.
I've also returned to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. My house is decorated like the inside of a pirate ship, and I'm refining that at the moment. I just finished collecting all the bug models, and have four fish models to go.
I'll be trainning Smash Bros Ultimate. It was a gift from.my sister. So....
Only Switch this weekend...we are gonna travel and i hate airplane..i have phobia...almost died in an airplane accident...so....nintendo switch and 6 (six!!) Power banks....100% playing to relax...
I finally finished Xenoblade 3 and now I'm going to do it's postgame content.
Might even 100% since it doesn't require me to start over a save file for once.
Finished Xenoblade Chronicles 3 on Monday. Now I'm in a bit of a limbo trying to figure out what to play now. I've been playing a little of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which is really fun.
Also I happen to have hacked my 3ds this week (thank AntDude for that lol) So now I'm considering going back and playing/replaying some of the DS and GBA Pokemon games. I never played Gen 5 or the Gen 2 remakes, so those seem kind of enticing to me. But I'm also thinking about getting Legends Arceus since I missed out on it earier this year.
Before XC3 came out, I was slowly playing through the Kingdom Hearts All in One collection on PS4, but part of me feels that I should try not to give myself RPG burnout by playing too many in a row.
Thinking about picking up Splatoon 3. I loved the single player content in 2 and would be keen to dive in again in 3. I've heard it's similar to the Octo Expansion but not quite as good. No doubt I'd dive into the online play as well, but somewhat perversely it's really about the single player content for me.
Other than that, Nintendo wise I've started Soul Hackers on the 3DS.
games im playing this weekend for my videogame systems
Switch Lite
-Ni No Kuni II
-Zelda Skyward Sword
Playstation 3
-might get back into Final Fantasy XIII
-get back into playing the last missions in Assassins Creed Brotherhood
Mahjong by Microsoft (Android) - Nearly done with the final medals I need for completion.
World At Arms (Windows Phone) - Kinda boring and slow so far, I might just drop it.
Temple Run 2 (Windows Phone) - Great for toilet breaks and etc.
I've been having a blast with Splatoon 3 so far. Mowing down baddies with the Inkzooka takes me back to the Splatoon 1 days.
@JoeDiddley at first no problems! As time went on (updates came I think) I experienced a severe hang up at the start up screen.
Switched the game to boot up using “proton experimental” no problems after that.
More Xenoblade 3. That's pretty much going to be my answer for the next few months. My backlog is really starting to mountain up and things are only going to get worse if GC/GBA emulation is coming to the Switch (through NSO online?). Honestly, after this Switch generation, I genuinely don't know if I'll ever buy another console because I've amassed a master library of games for the Switch that I can endlessly play.
It may have taken a day to get it, but I'm finally able to dive back into the ink. STORY MODE AHOY.

If I can bring myself to not play it for a while though (unlikely but you never know), it'll probably either be for Pokemon Unite, Pokemon Shield and my 4th playthrough of the Link's Awakening remake. Nothing else really matters though because OH MY GOD SPLATOON 3 IS OUT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Splatoon 3 is pretty much going to be my go-to game throughout September.
@Zuljaras Pretty tempted to re-try Dark Souls on my SWOLED. The dark environments look phenomenal on that screen, from what I've seen.
Replaying Vroom In The Night Sky for me this weekend, possibly my favorite Switch title ever.
splatoon 3 weekend for sure
I really want to get back into Kingdom Hearts 2! Of course its a replay, so I'm not in a huge rush on it, but I've been dying to beat up some Heartless lately.
Really need to put some work into the final case of Spirit of Justice, because I'd like to move towards playing the Investigations games and the Layton crossover, but also get back into Great Ace Attorney.
I'll also be doing some soft resets in Pokemon White for a shiny Oshawott while watching the last two Star Wars movies I have on my list. Hoping the cute little otter will shine for me quickly, so I can hunt down some other shinies for my SBQ.
Splatoon 3 weekend
Xenoblade 3 and only Xenoblade 3. I'm on Chapter 5 at around 80 hours, I can't put it down! It's like I have two full-time jobs back-to-back lmao
I generally only play games one at a time, so this will be my entire life outside of work until I eventually clear it. Considering I'm doing every side quest and taking time to master all the classes with everyone, I'd say this will take me until mid October-ish? Then Persona 5 comes out shortly thereafter. Sorry Splatoon, I swear I had every intention of purchasing you but I guess it was never meant to be 😢
Splatoon 3, of course! Love it! 🤗
Most definitely will be playing Splatoon 3…bought 2 copies like a true sucker for Nintendo. It’s still an awesome franchise, for those complaining about not enough “new” in this iteration…this game is extremely well polished. Its looks and gameplay are more refined, one of the best multiplayer experiences anywhere. It will only get even better with the incoming updates.
Might jump back into some MH Sunbreak, been playing more Enter the Gungeon too, of course there’s always a ton of quality in the backlog. October will be hectic for Switch, my finally pickup an Xbox as well!
On deck this weekend…as always good food, made some homemade Philly Cheesesteaks. Strains: LA Kush Cake, Red Congo and Khalifa Kush!
Happy Weekend to all!
This weekend i'll be playing:
Soul Hackers 2 (PC) - I'm in the Middle of Central District, i've already Beat the 1st Boss in Central District,
Saints Row 2 (XB360): doing all the actives.
Animal Crossing (NGC): just playing for old time sakes.
Two Worlds II (PC): Continuing from the DLC "Prates of the Flying Fortress"
TemTem! Reviews did a dirty on this one, the game is fantastic
My gosh I need to clone myself with how many fantastic releases there have been/that are coming soon. Its so hard not to boot up Splatoon 3, but I have a two game at any time rule, and the other is reserved for sunbreak which I recently bit the bullet on after so long.
More Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for me. Chapter 6, just got the Upper Aetia. This game is awesome. Well worth the time investment to anyone on the fence.
Scored a cheap PS2 slim and a not-so-cheap but quite pristine copy of Silent Hill 2 off ebay so that’s what I’m doing this weekend. I couldn’t go another year without playing it again. To me, it’s the perfect game. Puzzles, exploration, scary, a dark, intelligent, and thought provoking story, and I get to collect things and get different endings. I played the crap out of this game and I plan to keep that up.
Just finished the apartments today so off the the fog I go.
Watching Kill Bill for the first time in years made me want to come back and try to finish Cuphead. Wish me luck!
Still playing the TMNT Cowabunga Collection. Finally tried online yesterday. To say its subpar is putting it mildly, but I still had fun, even if it runs as smooth as sandpaper.
@Farts_Ahoy good to know. I heard for Soul Hackers 2 issues from portals not rendering up to not being able to load saves and not being able to start the game.
Good to hear it’s working in Proton Experimental, so depending on when I get to it I can use that, or it might get Verified soon enough.
Splatoon 3 - Single player. This is my first adventure despite owning it on Wii U. So far I am enjoying it a lot but I am not a multiplayer person (only play Mario Kart 8 online occasionally) so we will see.
Super Mario 3D World on Switch. I am at World 8, I've completed 100% back on the Wii U and it's still such an amazing platformer!
Celeste - B side, only got 1 or maybe 2 levels left.
Cowabunga!!! Bit by bit.
Happy gaming!
Pokémon Legends Arceus just keeps drawing me back in. I don't know if I'll ever "perfect" complete the Pokédex, but I'm whittling my way... very, very slowly.
I'm also up to map 24 (or so) of TNT: Evilution of Final DOOM on Switch. It's ironic that it took the Switch for me to get around to completing these brutal wads.
@Natsura that’s a great game been enjoying that.
@MetalKingShield I loved the Seven Sirens. I liked the addition of cut scenes in this game. The game was fun, and I finished it, but I forget my %. How hard was it to 100%? How many endings are there?
Finishing up XC3. Easily a NSW GOTY, for me.
@dugan - there are five ending screens in the updated version: Completion, 100% Completion, Fast Completion, Fast 100% Completion and Hula Mode (more magic, lower defence).
The reason I thought it was difficult to 100% is because there are so many cards to collect and items to find, unlocked by the dances. However, it turns out you only need to find all the squids and nuggets, nothing else. That said, some of the nuggets are in pretty obscure locations, but I got them from a video on YouTube.
I'm balancing my time between Splatoon 3 and Ooblets. Sometimes I just need something a little more chill after all that inking lol
@bigboo That's absolutely fair that you don't love multiplayer in games. I'm similar, but for whatever reason I really enjoy the multiplayer in Splatoon.
The matches are short for Turf Wars, so even if you get a sucky party (or if you're me, I'm the sucky player a lot of the time lol), it's over before you can get too frustrated. And with Salmon Run, it's a really fun experience to play co-op against the hard enemies/bosses.
Again, absolutely cool if you just stick to the singleplayer. But I'd at least implore you to try Salmon Run. It's far less "typical multiplayer" and can be a really wholesome experience. I love all the booyahs at the end of the wave when we survive by the skin of our teeth.
@Nanami_Ataraxi TemTem is great! You're right that the reviews are overly harsh to it, and I'm glad you're enjoying it!
@MetalKingShield thanks for the info! I love platformers and the Shantae series is in my top three. I rarely replay games, but I think I want that 100% completion. Thanks!
TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection and mixing in some Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Splatoon 3.
@Queen_Ditto
Thank you for your feedback! I will definitely check it out!!
@Queen_Ditto
Absolutely! it's the best Pokemon-like I've played so far!
I see you are playing Ooblets ^-^
Can't wait to play that either, its also in my backlog, Is it addictive as it looks?
So much hype!
Everything Mario. Today it's been Super Mario Bros., Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 2 and Bowser's Fury. Good fun
Trying to increase my S rank.
Was pleased to get there, but it was slightly disheartening there are 50 rungs of it.
Will also give Mario Party a go.
