I have the NES Zapper, Wii Wheel (have 2), Wii Balance Board, and 4 Switch Joy-Con Wheels. I also have the Wii Classic Controller Pro (black).

I think my sister might still have the bongos.

I'll admit that I was a bit disappointed that this was the end reveal since I was hoping they'd uphold the 2019 pattern of Zelda reveals (TP/WW HD or SS HD). I've never played any of the Xenoblade games.

I'm now glad I didn't buy the 3DS version when I seriously considered it after buying a New 2DS XL a few months ago. Perhaps it's time to give Xenoblade a try.

I'm going to laugh if they announce Twilight Princess HD and/or Wind Waker HD for the Switch at the end. That'd be 3 full Directs (4 counting the Nindie Direct that announced with Cadence of Hyrule) in a row ending with Zelda.

Just used the Kid Icarus discount and plan to use the Metroid: Sami’s Returns discount in once Kid Icarus downloads (after getting my Sword-Swinging Link theme.

My Nintendo still serves a purpose for me since I was late to the party.

I missed out on them as a kid because we didn’t have a Genesis or SNES. Sucks because I was born the year Aladdin (the movie) was released and The Lion King was my favorite movie for ages.

I’m making up for lost time.

September is a menace this year.

My NES died, but that was after many years of service and several years of daily use when it was getting pretty old. Otherwise, I never really had a problem with Nintendo hardware and that includes my Joy-Cons. My sister and brother-in-law went through several Wii consoles, but that’s because their kids kept breaking them.

Xbox is a different story. My original one died when I was 17 and the replacement has problems opening. My brother-in-law went through several 360s due to the Red Ring of Death. I’m on my 2nd Xbox One because my refurbished original died after about a year and a half.

Does Nintendo have something against matching sets? Some of us are OCD.

I want a neon blue pair. I just ordered a left blue joy-con and plan to get the right one later.

Maybe I'll get these at some point, but first I want my blue. If they had Luigi green to go with Mario red I'd be all over that.

I'm only Dr. Peach because Daisy and Rosalina weren't available.

I see no need to have YouTube on my consoles/handhelds when it’s on my phone, TV, and laptop.

Mine is shoved under the bed in the easiest spot to reach (aside from where my slippers are) because I still use it sometimes.

Spyro, Collection of Mana, Ni No Kuni, Zelda, amiibo, and Sega Genesis Mini. Not to mention college.

Nintendo wants to make my wallet cry, though Spyro can wait since I have it on PS4.

Hmm...maybe because the rare occasions we get an EA game it sucks? And not everyone wants the sports games, especially watered down versions.

If I want EA then I choose PC or old GameCube titles. I can’t resist The Sims.

I just want a LotR RPG. Guess I’ll have to stick with the old GameCube ones.

Why on earth would I watch YouTube on the 3DS/New 2DS XL when there’s a million other things I can watch it on?

I just bought a New 2DS XL in May as a graduation gift to myself. It’s currently in my backpack waiting for my lunch hour. My original 3DS is on a shelf in my room in case I want 3D.

I’m planning to buy BotW on the Wii U (I have the Switch version) just so I can use mods without fear of messing up my Switch.

Proper dungeons in BotW is right up my alley.

I'll be getting my physical copy of Fire Emblem.

My friend just got Bulbasaur and Charmander last night. I just told her the news since Squirtle is her favorite.

Eh. I’d rather just get a pair of Arctic Blue (as in the N64 color) with SNES colored buttons. Or a pair of neon blue ones.

Why are Zelda Joy-Cons not a thing?! They also need a Mario red and Luigi green pair, maybe with the M and L.

@Mr_Persona I don't really care if OoT and MM are remasters or just ports (preferably of the 3DS versions since they're perfectly fine in 2D). I just want all the Zelda games on one console.

@Mr_Persona We just need ALL of them on Switch and they can throw in Link’s Crossbow Training and the Twilight Princess Picross game as bonus content.

Dang, I live in the US. I only need Bokoblin and Link’s Awakening to have the full set.

Just put them in every mall like GameStop. I go to the mall like once a month for Pokémon Community Day with my friends.

@Vectorman I’m not writing them off, but they’re not my favorite genres. I play them when the mood strikes or someone else wants to play, but they’re not my go-to games. I have some FPS games and all but the 3DS Smash lying around in case I feel like playing. I have some other fighting games too and have some Assassin’s Creed. I have Dead Space and even a couple indie psychological horror games on my laptop.

I like the original Halo and picked up a copy for my Xbox One. When I actually had people to play with I was a berserker in the campaign and a sniper when playing against others. Gears of War is cool, but the Kryll remind me of a nightmare I had when I was little.

As for Smash, I used to like it a lot more when I was younger, but my nephew has managed to turn it into a pain. I’m not exactly happy to have a little kid telling me how to play a game I’ve played for 20 years when he spends more time watching YouTube videos about it than playing then I get guilt-tripped for kicking his butt. He’s interrupted date nights and college assignments then woken me up at 7 in the morning. I had to firmly tell him no means no and “maybe later” will become a hard “no” if he begs/complains because it’s my stuff and in my bedroom. I get nervous because he jumps around like a crazy person when he’s overexcited during the game and I don’t want him to damage anything or hurt someone. I freaked out when my room was filled with 5 people plus a cat then my 6-year-old niece decided to leap over the GC controller cord when it was stretched to the limit, forcing me to watch her nearly hurt herself and murder my console in one bound.

I love my nephew and he’s very sweet, but I don’t want to play the same thing every Friday evening when I have a large collection and backlog of various genres dating from the 80’s to this week. Maybe I just want to watch a movie on the TV instead of my laptop.

@Vectorman Nope, I was never really a fan of fighting or FPS games, though I play occasionally. #4 and #5 are probably Dragon Age and Spyro.

@Dragnoran Unless it’s a Zelda-themed pack in The Sims with tons of legit Zelda stuff EA can stay away from Zelda. As it is, I have a ton of Zelda CC in my Sims games because my Sim kid needs a Zelda room.

I pre-ordered CTR (Nitros Oxide Edition), but I went for the PS4 version because of exclusives and themes.

I used to have a box full of toy cars and motorcycles till I gave them to my cousin's son. Mario Kart is one of my top 3 favorite game IPs (the others being Zelda and Sims).

I ended up using Fixed Beat because I have no rhythm and can’t dance to save my life.

I’m glad this didn’t end up being the Wii U’s last game. The poor thing has suffered enough.

I'm happy to see the bird and bear in Smash, but I'd be much happier just to get Rare Replay on Switch (I have it on Xbox One, but I'd rather have these on a Nintendo console where they truly belong).

The best thing ever would be a Diddy Kong Racing remake or remaster on Switch.

@Nico07 I know, but I was referring to my personal setup. I have the Wii U and Xbox One connected to my smart TV (it has HDMI, component, and composite), the N64 hooked up to an older TV, and a New 2DS XL.

I’ll stick with my N64, Wii U, Rare Replay, and DS/3DS remakes.

I’d miss my hippie van and certain items, but that’s about it.

I've got Cadence of Hyrule downloaded already. I knew it was day one the moment I saw it.

As for Collection of Mana, I'm probably waiting for the physical release.

I don't hear, or expect to hear, any words. There's definitely a subliminal "give me your rupees!" though.

I'm REALLY looking forward to this, but I do hope the game after it is nice and light like what they did going from OoT to MM to WW. I think we'll need something to lighten the mood after this.
