Re: Mario Kart Wii Sold Five Times As Many Copies As Mario Kart 8 Over The Last Financial Year

@Moroboshi876 They might’ve just gotten the Wii recently. I didn’t get mine till 2011 (Mario Kart Wii bundle, so black and backwards compatible); my best friend didn’t have one till I decided to give her mine last summer as a birthday gift after getting the Wii U. Or maybe the disc got scratched or a little kid broke/lost it. There’s a reason I don’t let my nephew handle my discs or my Switch.

As for me, I still pick up Wii games if they look interesting and I still love Mario Kart Wii.

@FullbringIchigo Yeah, I think it’s smoother, but it’s been about 10 years since I played the Xbox version and I just got the GC version recently. My first Xbox died about 10 years ago, so I brought all my games to my sister’s house to see if they worked on the 360; I think this was the only one that did. Now I have a replacement Xbox, but I only have the two games I insisted on getting (I plan to get my old games back).

@AlohaPizzaJack My sister and I were little rebels and only pretended to drink the wine because we didn’t like it.

I played Feather, Tetris 99 (failed miserably), and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker before bed last night. I’m trying to be good and play Animal Crossing: New Leaf every day. I might play The Sims 4 and who knows what else.

Re: Video: Hmm, This Nintendo Direct Presentation Sure Is Suspicious

@Grumblevolcano That’s what I figure too, but you have to admit it’s funny to have FFVII and not those two on a Nintendo console.

It’s pretty ironic that Square and Final Fantasy came back when Nintendo went back to using cartridges when the cartridge format is why they went to PlayStation in the first place. Then, all of a sudden, we get a barrage of Square Enix (except Kingdom Hearts 😕) and Final Fantasy.

My 2 best friends gave me an original 3DS for my birthday in 2016, so I took it with me on a vacation immediately after getting it (didn’t get to play much since I had bridesmaid/babysitting duties and only had 1 game).

I now have a fairly respectable library and keep it in my bag so I can play during breaks at work. I also took it to Disney World last month so I could play before bed.

Re: Microsoft Asked The Studio Behind Cuphead To Bring The Game To Switch

@Wavey84 No, but it’s on my wishlist.

The 360 was pretty faulty hardware, but I liked my brother-in-law’s and there’s a reason my Xbox One is mostly filled with 360 games. The Xbox controllers, aside from the Duke (I have one), are excellent and I love that I can use them on my computer.

I bought a fully functional fat PS3 (not PS2 compatible) for about $60 last spring and like it a lot. My PS3 library is mostly exclusives, PS2 HD collections, and PS1 games. I ended up getting an Afterglow controller for it, which I think is comfier than the DualShock 3. The menu is a bit messy, but I do like my “Book of Spells” theme.
