Boom

Well here's an ambitious crossover (they seem to be all the rage these days). In honour of Nickelodeon's annual Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament, SpongeBob Squarepants storyboard artist Kurt Snyder has created a poster for this year's internal studio event featuring famous Nickelodeon characters cosplaying as Smash fighters.

2019 will be the fourth Smash tournament held at Nickelodeon Animation and Snyder decided to mash-up the studio's famous faces with Nintendo's roster to produce the poster below which he tweeted out:

Snyder was aided in the task by fellow SpongeBob storyboard worker Tim Prendergast, and as you can see, there's a whole host of characters adopting the roles of Nintendo's finest brawlers. Personal highlights include Rugrats' Tommy as Ness, Michelangelo riding a Turtle-ised clown car and an evil little Ren as Mewtwo in the bottom left, but the entire thing is pretty special. Here's the whole uncropped poster:

We're sure working at Nickelodeon isn't all Smash and SpongeBob, but it sure doesn't look like bad working environment! Let us know how you think a Smash tourney would go down in your workplace by leaving a little comment below.
