This looks pretty cool. However, I don't think it'd work out so well for me because I need glasses. Glad I didn't try Virtual Boy back in the 90's since my eyes are bad enough as it is.
The hippo game just reminded me of playing "Hungry Hungry Hippos".
I just hope Rare Replay comes to the Switch and maybe they could come to an agreement for Diddy Kong Racing. I've got said games on my Xbox One and N64, but still.
I'll be getting the physical version. I'll let my best friend play it since she refuses to touch Xbox and her laptop sucks but she's interested in this game.
Dog sledding, especially the Iditarod, is what my 11-year-old (12 in two weeks) niece wants to do when she grows up. I swear that kid's goal in life is to freeze me to death; I hate the cold and every time she comes over I end up covered in blankets. It's my own fault for putting on "Balto" and giving her my old collection of stuffed wolves and Huskies.
I want to recommend this game for her, but maybe I'll wait a bit after seeing the dog die. My sister's kids are a lot more sensitive and sheltered than I was plus the only death they've experienced was their dog and that was fairly recent.
I love MK8 Deluxe and I have Fast Racing NEO on the Wii U. I plan to get Team Sonic Racing and Out Run.
I think I'll get CTR Nitro-Fueled for the PS4 just because it was originally a PlayStation game and pre-ordering might give me more themes. The only reason I have Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on Switch is because I had the Switch before I even considered getting a PS4.
I just got NSMBU Deluxe (that title/acronym is ridiculous) with the discount. I might play MK7 during my last break and I have a ton of Mario games to choose from later.
The chaos! Seriously, though, it's time for some MK8D DLC featuring new tracks based on more recent games and some more retro tracks (mostly hoping for GameCube).
One thing about MK8 that slightly disappoints me is that "Dry Dry Desert" gets rid of the sandstorms from GCN (don't know about the plant that eats you at the bottom of the quicksand pit since I never end up in there anymore). They also got rid of the electric things in the tube in "Koopa Cape", which could've been replaced with fans or something since it's underwater and Cheep Cheeps are swimming through it. I miss those extra obstacles from the original versions.
I bought mine exactly 2 months after release and it was my first big purchase after getting my job. It was with me for my first flight and my first trip to Disney World. I love my Switch.
I watched the anime as a kid, but I didn't have any of the games till I was about 20 when I got Yellow from a friend (so I still got my start in Kanto despite being such a late bloomer; I have trouble remembering Pokemon from later generations). My two best friends gave me a 3DS for my 24th birthday and I started picking up Pokemon games myself.
Update: R.I.P. to the friend who gave me Pokemon Yellow. He died several days after I made this post.
I mostly buy physical (most of my cartridges are in the Switch case) and still have a fair amount of space on my 64GB SD card. I have a 256GB card waiting for it to run out of space.
My 500GB PS4 has a bunch of games offloaded because I’m out of space, but going physical doesn’t help with PlayStation and Xbox. My Xbox has 1GB and is probably about half full.
As a NSO user, the NES games and Tetris 99 are a given. I'll get the Captain Toad DLC later. Interested in Degrees of Separation and I'll possibly get Dawn of New Riders later.
As for FF IX, I'll go with PlayStation since the Store has most FF games and I have both a PS3 and PS4 as well as possible plans to get a Vita.
Gold Zelda edition Switch with matching Pro Controller and Joy-Con grip! My Joy-Cons are grey and have a Zelda skin.
Anyone else want the N64 "Funtastic" colors back? I always wanted to get one and have a matching iMac G3 (my N64 is a standard with a Jungle Green dust cover so I can pretend).
I always play Pokemon Go when I'm out, even it's just via Adventure Sync at work. Maybe some Mario Kart 7 on break and Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee when I get the chance.
If I had time I'd start playing Kingdom Hearts, but I've got work and I'm leaving for Disney World on Monday. If you're going to put off playing a Kingdom Hearts game obligations and Disney World are the best reasons.
I didn't have any of the games till I reached my twenties because my parents didn't buy them even though they'd bought me a GBA and DS. I got a Pokemon Yellow cartridge by chance and didn't start playing Pokemon till recently.
That said, I'm enjoying my belated introduction to Pokemon.
MK7
Pokemon X
Pokemon Omega Ruby
NSMB2
Super Mario Land
Pokemon Ultra Sun
MK7 is definitely my favorite since I've always loved Mario Kart and it's in my 3DS almost all the time. I plan to get Smash and Pokemon Y, Alpha Sapphire, and Ultra Moon later.
Cool. I already have all the 3DS Zelda games (wish I could have Minish Cap on there, but I wasn’t an Ambassador), but I don’t have Super Mario Maker (have the Wii U version) or Star Fox 64 3D yet (have regular Star Fox 64 on the Wii U).
Yesterday I played a bit of Mario Kart 7 and I'm currently playing The Sims 4. Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee is currently in my Switch. I also just bought Tales of Vesperia for my PS4.
I was going to pre-order it, but decided to wait till more games were revealed. The list is...uninspiring and I could get a bunch of them on my PS3 instead. The only reason to get this is to have a tiny PS next to my NES/SNES Classics, N64, and OG Xbox.
No downloads, but I'm getting Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Katamari Damacy, and Sega Genesis Classics. Just not this week (aside from Smash since I pre-ordered) since I'm kind of broke right now.
I've got both of Nintendo's classics and adore them. My sister and I were so excited to get the tiny NES (we didn't have the SNES). I would definitely want the N64 Classic.
I seriously considered getting the PlayStation Classic...till I found out what games it had. Really? They could've at least picked "Crash Team Racing", which I've got on my PS3.
Large, open overworld to explore since that's what inspired the series in the first place. It needs more towns/settlements.
Large, traditional dungeons and unique bosses because the shrines/Divine Beasts don't cut it and all look the same. Need more of the traditional enemies.
Primarily non-linear, but maybe have some linear bits for the sake of the story.
HD-2D art style, but in brighter colors than what we see in Octopath Traveler. That game is gorgeous.
16-bit music with fanfare for chests and items, bring back some of the older songs, and have music play an important role again.
Find rupees and hearts the old-fashioned way because the lack of rupees everywhere in BotW implies the Minish are extinct and that's pretty sad. MC was my first 2D Zelda.
Bring back the green hat and tunic! The Champion's Tunic and ponytail grew on me, but I still want my green hat and tunic. The Master Sword should be required. There should also be a hookshot.
Destructible weapons are a pain and need to go. I like rain, but stop making it so dang hard to climb! Keep the ability to run and jump.
J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings: Volume I (SNES), The Legend of Zelda: Voyager of Time (OoT rom hack), The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age (GC).
Two friends and I got the family plan from the start. My best friend was mostly after online since she's addicted to Splatoon 2 whereas I've used it more for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe online races. I'm the one who uses the NES games the most and hope they eventually move on to other consoles.
I never had a GameCube or PS2 (I had an Xbox; I used the others at my sister's house), but I've got a backwards compatible Wii and would've loved playing it on that. This year I finally got a PS3 and bought "Katamari Damacy" and "Katamari Forever" for it.

Re: This 3D Model Of Super Mario World Is Breathtakingly Beautiful
@Rodan2000 My point exactly! I’d prefer a Zelda diorama, but SMW is my favorite Mario game.
There’s a reason I only date gamers who appreciate my nerdy ways.
Re: This 3D Model Of Super Mario World Is Breathtakingly Beautiful
@Rodan2000 Does that really count as much of a loss?

Cuphead and Cadence of Hyrule for me. I'll suggest Red Lantern for my niece.
Re: Cuphead Physical Release Confirmed For Nintendo Switch
I'll be getting the physical version. I'll let my best friend play it since she refuses to touch Xbox and her laptop sucks but she's interested in this game.

I'm not usually the type for rhythm games, but for Zelda I'll give it a shot.
Re: Random: Nintendo Gets Crafty With Its Yoshi's Crafted World Promo Materials
Nintendo sure is obsessed with crafts. It’s adorable
Re: Hands Up, Who Needs A Pair Of These Custom Zelda Game Boy Trainers?
@mr12calvin Sneakers/tennis shoes. I'm still surprised they didn't change it in the American "Harry Potter" books.
And I agree with @kyleforrester87. I love GameBoy and Zelda, but these are ugly.
Re: Random: Child Holding Famicom Controller The Wrong Way Causes Outrage Online In Japan
I thought the proper way to hold a Famicom/NES controller was common sense.

Re: Random: Here's What The Game Boy Might Look Like If It Was Designed Today
Give me a proper D-pad and buttons. He also failed to at least make said pieces red and black.
It doesn't look anything like a Nintendo product.

Re: Video: Pokémon The Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution Gets Another 30-Second Teaser Trailer

I definitely want Pokemon, Luigi's Mansion 3, Yoshi, and Fire Emblem. Bayonetta, Animal Crossing and Dragon Quest Builders 2 all get a "maybe".
Re: Nintendo Power Podcast Wants To Know The Switch Games You're Most Looking Forward To In 2019
Pokemon, Luigi's Mansion 3, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Yoshi's Crafted World. Also more Sega Ages.
