Looks like I need to start Sword today. I have both, but I’ve only used Shield.

I want to get my fire badge in Shield after work today. I only play in brief spurts and spent several hours fishing to get a decent water team.

I also plan to play The Sims 2 or 4. TS3 takes too long to load and was uninstalled when I was forced to reset my laptop (so many downloads lost 😢). I also need to reinstall The Sims: Complete Collection and make it able to run on Windows 10 again.

I have certain games on my laptop (mostly The Sims 1-4, The Sims Medieval, and all the Dragon Age games), but it’s just a normal laptop I bought in 2017. I gave my Wii to my best friend after hacking the Wii U to make it play GameCube. I traded in the DSi after transferring to the 3DS. I lent the GBA SP to a friend and never got it back. The NES died (RIP).

@Darlinfan I'm assuming his mind somehow made the jump to real-life shooters, one of the last things I'd ever joke about. I was accepted into UNC Charlotte shortly after the shooting and at the time I didn't know whether one of my closest friends was in class or not (she'd left campus right before it happened).

@Friendly If you work retail Christmas is the perfect time to play shooters since it’s stressful and some “Christians” get downright mean on Sunday and around the holidays.

Most people stream or watch YouTube instead of actually watching TV, so the drop makes sense.

I’ll have to pick up the Dragon Quest games on my next paycheck (day after Christmas and right before my tuition payment is due 😑). I’ve already got Collection of Mana and my FF collection is on my PS3 and PS4.

I agree that the birthday discount sucks and mostly offers games you already have or aren’t interested in. But one year I got Twilight Princess HD cheap and my siblings gave me the Wolf Link amiibo separately.

@WiX I prefer dubs over subs purely because I’m a slow reader and I end up focusing entirely on reading the subtitles when I want to watch the actual video too. I just can’t keep up. If it’s something I’ve seen before then I might watch a sub.

Why did they make KIRBY, of all characters, angry? Otherwise, I prefer the American box art.

My sisters and I didn’t even have the SNES, so I played SMW on my GBA.

I got myself Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far, Collection of Mana, Aladdin and the Lion King for Switch, and Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story. I also got volumes 1 and 2 of the Fruits Basket collector’s editions.

Shield and Sims 4. Yesterday I played Mario Kart 7 and Nintendogs + Cats in the car.

Not exactly a hard choice.

Bought this for Black Friday and I'll just have to put the SNES Aladdin on my SNES Classic.

I love my Wii U and it’s actually my most used console despite having a Switch.

As for this, the Space Invaders clone I made for my Intro to Game Development class in community college looks better.

My Eevee is going to be the floofiest thing ever.

I played this for about 5 seconds then had to shut it up. I hate both Minions and the Chipmunks, so this is a no for me even though it’s Zelda.

And to think I originally wanted to go to Oklahoma State University like my dad, sister and brother-in-law. Only reason I didn’t is because I moved to NC when I was 14.

I didn’t have a SNES, but this was my first GBA game and it was my favorite. It accidentally got ruined while I was doing laundry, so I bought it on the Wii VC (I was disappointed by the lack of an intro and the fact that I couldn’t be Luigi, but still brilliant). I now have it (both SNES and GBA) on the Wii U VC. I have Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World on the SNES Classic.

I didn’t get a PS3 till last year and was planning to buy the original version for it, but I hadn’t yet. Now I can get the remaster, so good things come to those who wait.

I work at a Walmart. A few days before the NES Classic was re-released I saw them out on the shelves. I told the associate working back there that the release date was supposed to be the 29th and had him try to check it out for me to be sure. It couldn’t be bought and I was right about the release date, so I told management they needed to get the product (ended up explaining what exactly it was multiple times) off the shelf ASAP or someone who isn’t ME would try to buy them and the store would have a mess. They were removed immediately and I made sure the night shift manager knew so there wouldn’t be a repeat offense.

A few days later I bought it for real on the proper release date then I bought a second one as an anniversary gift for my sister and brother-in-law.

I finally fulfilled my lifelong dream of going to Disney World (so much happy crying...). Now I need to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Super Nintendo World.
