Can't say I've heard of any of these games before, but I'm not gonna turn any down. More games is nothing but a positive!
Out of all of them Tank It! interests me most if only to see how the devs message about the futility of war comes accross to the player.

@Marshi haha nah only getting the console from GAME, got my Zelda and 1 2 Switch preorders at amazon. The console costs about the same everywhere and hopefully GAME are doing a midnight launch

Just Zelda and 1 2 Switch for me. Maybe a carrying case/ screen protector if GAME are selling one at the time, if not I'll wait until next payday to buy accessories.

The more I see of this game the more excited I feel. I know it will be a microtransaction hellscape but I think having a team of your favourite heroes will be the motivation fans will need to keep playing.
Personally I hope Sacred Stones gets decent representation, so many good characters in that game!

Urgh This is really annoying, especially has a handheld device. I know Nintendo will charge a fortune for this service and although I could probably replace it myself I'd be too scared to mess up the innards of the machine.

Praying for a UK price drop before launch.
It would be nice not to have the price drop by £50 six months later (looking at you 3DS and WiiU)

I really think this console will need a 3DS-esque price drop for it to appeal to the mainstream market especially here in the UK.

Looking good! Hopefully we'll get a lot of new looking stages like this one. The one they showed off in the trailer looked a lot like Urchin Underpass but this stage is definitely a step in the right direction!

They did an excellent job with Twilight Princess HD so I trust them to do RiME justice, with any luck it will launch alongside the other console versions as playing it on the go could be a big selling point!
Also I wonder if Nintendo have trusted any other games for Tantalus to work on, I wouldn't mind a HD Skyward Sword on the Switch 😉

Thank goodness its been fixed! I seriously couldn't believe how cheap Nintendo at first.

@DonkeyKongBigBoy Yeah we can't make a full judgement until Nintendo announce all the details. And whilst its not entirely true that we don't know anything I expect (or should I say desperately hope) there's something more Nintendo is keeping hush about to make this service worth the money and on par with its competitors.
Perhaps this all this speculation is pointless with the few details we've been given but healthy debate isnt an inherently bad thing 😛

@TheLZdragon I'd argue that even with a price known we can still compare the services and see that Nintendo is offering less.
Of course this lesser offering would be far more justified at a lower price but it would be a sub par offering nonetheless.

@DonkeyKongBigBoy Just to play the role of devils advocate (I am very much on side of "lets wait and see" personally). But from what Nintendo has announced so far their service will be a worse paid service than either Xbox Live or PS Plus.
The main reason for this claim has to do with the "free" software made available each month, which Nintendo have made clear will only be free for a single month. Also noted that it will be a NES or SNES title which have a value of £3-£5 (noted online will be added which will increase value). However this is a far cry from the service offered by Sony that this month offered £62 worth of free indie titles.
Next point is the much debated smart phone app. At this point it seems unclear (at least to my knowledge) whether the app will be compulsory for online interactions, but if this is the case again it would make it a lesser service to that of Sony or Xbox simply for the need of another peripheral.
Lastly the value of an online service hinges on how many games will be using it and to what extent each game uses it. To this end Nintendo will once again be playing catch up to PS and Xbox just because this is a new system with fewer games on it and fewer still that will use the online service to its full potential.

Once again I'll just say that we really should wait and see for what the full service will be. But from the details released so far Nintendos online service doesn't sound like it will even be on par with what is offered by their competitors.

This is great! I've wanted to play World of Goo for ages but never got around to it! Also I somehow managed to put about 50 hours into burning stuff in Little Inferno!
Also nice to know that the eShop will have stuff day 1

@dazzleshell Graphics wise, Zelda is almost the same between Switch and WiiU. However the whole game does run smother. On the Switch version the draw distance is much better and I believe it will be running at 60fps instead of 30(?) on the WiiU.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I doubt they'll do special editions on the WiiU, as sad as it is to people who'll still chose to play on the WiiU it looks like the Switch is the definitive version.

You know what, I'm actually kinda glad they've done this, the devs don't deserve to waste their time on a system that only 5 people will still have plugged in by the time the Switch releases.
I do feel sorry for those people who were looking forward to this on WiiU but 99% will probably be gettig the Switch or have another platform to play it on.
As for the 'technical difficulties' line, it could have some merit, we've known for ages that the WiiU isn't the easiest console to develop for/ port to.

I admit without the Mariners sale this quarter wouldnt be looking as peachy, but with Pokemon Sun and Moon and Mario Maker launching soon I think they'll have a strong winter for 3DS at least.
Also is it any surprise that the WiiU isn't selling, as Nintendo have admitted, its had virtually no new games and isn't going to be getting any anytime soon.

sigh they're taking so long with this that I'm actually becoming bored with Nintendo altogether, its gotten to the point that I'm even coming to NLife less frequently because there's just no interesting news (not a reflection on the excellent writers here but the poor managers at Nintendo)

@SLIGEACH_EIRE But Metroid has never done well in Japan, its really a western game in Nintendo's eyes, I'm sure even if it was "what people wanted" (and i won't even get into how entitled that sounds) it would most likely have sold poorly

@The_Ninja hmmm see I really do think taht Nintendo would do the whole New 3DS required thing if they released SMG1/2 if only to give themselves a hardware boost come christmas time. Also I'm sure if any system was going to get a GC port atm it would be the Wii U which has a far superior VC library (and is actually a home console)

I actually really like this design! granted not everyone will have the same opinion as me but i think it fills a hole in the market for someone who doesn't want a blue or red 3DS

I really think at this point Nintendo's best move is to wait at least until the end of the month before they announce the NX, announcing this week (as many people here seem to want) would be a disaster as it would be overshadowed by both Apple's and Sony's press conferences.

This guy needs to get off his bike and walk! There's a reason the speed limit is included to stop people cheating with the eggs by cycling and driving about. Cyclists are probably collecting more Pokémon and Pokéstops anyway so it only seems fair to penalise them with less egg hatchings.

Team Rowlet!! Can't decide between the Sun or Moon legendaries at the moment, also the NPC's look so much better than they have in the past- it almost felt alive!

Although I already own it if this ever comes to Europe, I'd advise everyone to get DK:TF! For me its still one of the best platformers ever made and at half its original price its a steal!

Just picked up Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii at the brilliant discount price, but now I face a bit of a dilema for when Xenoblade Chronicles X comes out: do I go physical or digital (i have more than enough storage for either), what do you guys/gals suggest??
