1-2-Switch isn't even on the market yet but it already has its own "tribute" in the form of 1-2-Swift.
Inspired by 1-2-Switch's Wild West shoot-out mini game - where players try to out-draw each other using the Joy-Con controller - 1-2-Swift uses HTC Vive controllers, or a keyboard if you don't have those handy.
The concept is the same, with the aim being to out-gun your rival. However, while 1-2-Switch has many other mini-games to play, this clone is limited to just one - but it does only cost £1.99.
Let us know if you've been able to try this game out by posting a comment below.

Wow, odd choice of game, but sure.
£1.99 makes this game worse value than 1-2-Switch.
..and you have to look at the screen. THE SCREEN!!
When it comes to Steam shovelware, it's never appropriate to call it a "tribute".
Came out 2 days ago wow
That's awesome.
I mean, uh, terrible pirates/thiefs/cloners whatever we call those people.
Anybody here every play the 2v2 soccer game where you just have 1 button to jump and physics does all the rest? That game is stupid fun. More fun than this I'm guessing - press on a key on the keyboard when a light flashes on the screen, awesome. They should at least do that starting light tree in drag racing to hit the gas.
So, when do the "milking" game clones start coming out? I'm sure the Senran Kegura guy must be working on one.

Disclaimer: No Joycon were harmed in the making of this image.
1 2 Boring.
The clones will be boring after 1 or 2 minutes playing.
Well, you can't copyright game mechanics*, so as long are you're not using another company's art, music, or code assets directly—in other words, you've made entirely your own game from scratch (regardless of the idea being the same or similar)—this is absolutely fine on a legal level. Morally—when you live a world/society built almost entirely around money and greed, by intentional design . . . let's not waste breath on arguing if these guys are being moral or not.

@rjejr That Senran Kegura guy has said he's excited about the possibilities of the Joy-cons and wants to recreate '' softness' feeling with HD rumble.
More like 1 2 S**t
Now we really know why Nintendo wants to keep so many secrets. Everyone wants to copy them even if it's crap. 😉
Can't wait for the copies of Urban Champion 3d..........oh wait.......
@rjejr The thought of that game and the joycons stuck in that one place.........crossed my mind the other day. The name of the controllers don't help that guy much do they?
I'm sure this will just as fun
Nothing that releases on Steam surprises me at this point. The store is a cespit for untalented devs to try and make a quick bit of cash. As for 1 2 Swift? I hope the people who already own a £800 Vive will enjoy it 😂😂😂
In the wonderful world of Steam Greenlight you won't know what you'll find!!
£1.99 that price should be for the real 1-2 switch...
Ready? 1......2........GLORY! A winner is you!
@Untempered-Link I know, right? I laughed out loud when I saw that. "Since everyone's complaining about the price of Switch and 1-2-Switch, let's sell a low quality clone of 1/20th the game for $1000+ hardware and require an $800 accessory! (Or you can just mash buttons.)
1-2-Swift is sure the appeal to the target market for 1-2-Switch!
@rjejr Oh, the Senran Kagura guy already stated that he's most interested in HD rumble and it's ability to create a feeling of "smoothness".....
I'm not sure what that means, and I'm not sure I'm interested in finding out what that means. But I think it's safe to say: Milk II: Resonant Dairy of Burst is confirmed.
@TbobB
Its also VR so you're strapping the screen to your face so you can't look away
The "dev" must be giddy with the free publicity and notoriety.
They will have my attention when they replicate Breath of the Wild
@impurekind I think Nintendo can still take legal action as long as they can prove that they have attempted to copy the game (and that the similarity wasn't just a coincidence)... copyrighted material is the easiest way of doing so, but not the only way.
In this case it would be the name that gives them that opening... it's far too similar to have been a coincidence.
@Spoony_Tech I'm pretty sure one of those hub portal sites is going to have its own Switch section. Maybe a subset of the YouTube Twerking scene. I'm not a regular, but I read about it after whats-her-face made it popular.
@Captain_Gonru Hysterical. Well too late now, might as well bundle 1 2 Switch in for free.
@NEStalgia @OorWullie Yeah I know, I was working off of that. I think what he'll really be going for is "hardness". Have you guys watched the milking game upside down? Easier to do on a phone or tablet. It's hysterical, in a NSFW kind of way.
If there isn't a game called "Happy Endings" within months of the Switch's release then the Joycon are a failure.
Maybe they can port the Elsa Frozen Massage game. And somebody please tell me this isn't a real game.
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4zycg1
@NEStalgia @rjejr Despite their fanservice focus, the Senran Kagura games (and franchise in general) are actually great. The main series on the 3DS has an interesting storyline, and the characters are quite fleshed out (no pun intended), and have interesting personalities and quirks. The versus-titles mostly have either recap storylines or spin-off storylines relating more to expanding the characters than the actual story. An example would be Estival Versus where Ryobi and Ryona, two sisters, meet their dead older sister and attempt to come to terms with their past, and what transpired in the days before the older sister died.
As long as you give it a chance, it is quite deep and not at all what one would expect when looking at the game covers.
EDIT: Well, beyond the fanservice... that is.
Pretty hilarious. Hey, I'm coming over with my PC and a bunch of VR gear so we can play quick draw, so just give me an hour to calibrate the sensors do you have a wide open space I can take over for an hour? Okay, now clip this bundle of wires here... okay... no this is fun, it's like that game over there that people have been laughing about playing for the last hour for a fraction of the price, no set up time with its own screen. How much did I spend for this rig? Not quite $2000, but it's cool look the game was only $2.
Anyway, I don't actually disparage people from trying new things with VR and it's interesting to note that a VR game is aping the Switch at this time...
@Bobb : Then you'll love The Leggings of Zelgon : Breathing on the Wildfire, out now on the App Store!
@Blizzia : Butt-head: Uh… huh-huh… "quite deep".
@sillygostly If you haven't played the games, you're not really qualified to comment on them
So, where's the lewd clone of the milking minigame?
Oh. Wait. It's already lewd.
@GeminiSaint Just need someone to swap the visuals for hands squeezing lactating breasts, and we're golden. Inc billions of $$$.
@Blizzia : I've got the first game (I was SHOCKED when I randomly encountered an Australian copy of the first game last year with the official rating symbol and everything on there). If I had known it were available as a physical release, I would have rushed out and bought it at launch.
Sadly, I don't think that the second game received the same treatment, and the sequel is increasingly difficult to find from international sellers (I'll have to import the European version).
I've hardly played it though. It's in the backlog for the time being.
@sillygostly You should play it sometime, but yeah, they were hard to find. I swear, I got the first game from a CHILDREN'S store. They had all those lame 3DS games made for kindergarteners and really young children, and then 1 copy of Senran Kagura Burst. The woman at the counter looked at me as if I was the filth of humanity when I went to purchase it, and asked me where I got it, and wouldn't believe they had it on their shelves... In the end she sold it to me anyway, for like 15 euro. Needless to say, I was just happy I actually got to buy it.
As for Senran Kagura 2, I pre-ordered the most expensive edition, with Takaki's signature and poop. Cool stuff.
Edit: When I say CHILDREN'S store, I mean a store that is specifically aimed at children below the age of 12. Meaning no games with ESRB ratings above 7 may be sold. xD
@Blizzia : I awkwardly placed the game on the counter with the face side down. The distributors clearly had no idea how to supply this game to retailers.
@sillygostly definitely not xD I placed mine face-up on purpose, because I knew that lady was a crazy feminist (they say don't judge a book by its cover, but I was totally right). As in not an actual one, just one of the ones who think 50/50 ain't good enough, and they'd like 90/10, and the privilege of calling all men pigs xD
Lol, looks better then the original!
@rjejr Soccer Physics is awesome!
@Blizzia : I know exactly what you mean. I detest those sorts of people.
More like... 1-2-[something that rhymes with "that's it"].

@rjejr
My laughter just woke up my pets. Thank you!
Many people were treating 1-2 Swtich like low-tier shovelware. But apparently it is ok to pay for a rip-off that requires a 800€ accessory.
Our society will never stop to impress me. Not in the way you would want it to, though.
@sillygostly Same. Can't just let the real people argue their case, gotta jump ship and corrupt the cause, grabbing an arm and a leg instead of the needed hand.
@Spoony_Tech "The name of the controllers don't help that guy much do they?"
Fun fact: in French, "con" is another (slightly old-fashioned) word for vag1na. Yup, that doesn't help
@Kroko Well the people whom this applies to already have the necessary accessory, so they're not paying 800€, but 2€. Nobody would buy a HTC Vive to get this game. At least not people I'd like to know xD
@Blizzia Well some weirdos do spend 500-700 on smartphones and use them for texting. So...
But yeah, that's not the Vive-seller title, it's obvious.
How dare you assume that the name, release timeframe and concept are not just coincidence!
Where is your proof good sir!?
@rjejr
wtf
Aren't you a father?
@Spoony_Tech
Just when I think every last NSFW switch meme has been tapped out, someone on here brings up an all new one. Joycons....given the love tester and the love motels....why does this sound more and more like Nintendo's ultimate product?
@Blizzia
I've actually heard that before. I just can't quite get myself to give the game a chance considering all the other great games available and the the "This is soooo for 15 year olds" motif. The Pedobear suit should come as a pre-order bonus. But yeah, it's not uncommon for a Japanese entertainment product to take honest quality and for whatever reason wrap it up in excessive amounts of fan service. Heck I thought Fates was pushing that theme farther than the rest of the story deserved. Camilla had such little depth beyond being walking fan service (and possibly completely psycho...)
@rjejr
Look what Nintendo has done to this once family friendly community. NL has 1...2...SWITCHed to 4chan. Next thing we know we'll have a tab at the top of our profile page to book a room at our nearest Nintendo Love Motel.
The Elsa game....I don't even comprehend why that is a thing. If it's intended as suggestive, it fails miserably, and if it's supposed to be a real game, it also fails miserably.
@aaronsullivan ROFL! So true!
@Kroko True. I do the same mostly, but I only spend like 200 max...
@NEStalgia Haha, I get what you mean. There are so many games available that unless you magically decided to play a franchise you don't know / aren't super excited for while in a "game slump" (no interesting games coming out in a period of a few months), often there is no prior motivation for giving a franchise you don't know a chance.
Though unlike normal fanservice titles, Senran Kagura wasn't developed without it in mind, then wrapped in it like normal games. Takaki, the creator of the franchise, is publicly known in the West as "Mr. Boobs", because his vision is to spread boobs and butts to the world and make the people happy So he decided to make games with what he loves, and he loves... Well. You know. The same stuff the rest of us love. Of course from the angle of a male, since he is male. Rather than being an add-on, fanservice is his signature mark, and a core component of the franchise.
I agree completely with Camilla, but I can't help but love her design enough to forgive them. E-cup older sister stereotype just doesn't get old. Other than that and the overall lower stats, I loved Fates. The story was better than expected, though I feel like it'd be disappointing unless you played all 3 routes (I got the special edition luckily, so spent a good 4 months playing the game every night lol.)
@NEStalgia I Googled "massage videogame" as I recalled one on PS4, that system gets a ton of perv stuff, then all these links for Elsa Frozen came up. There were tons of them. I'm still not sure if any of them are licensed, probably not, but that one seemed like it could l have been.
As far as NL going 4Chan, well I didn't invent that 3DS game cover, that's legit, and it is a lot better on here than the Sony sites w/ all their VR borderline kiddie naughtiness. But I'm telling ya, watch those 2 guys in the cow hats playing 1 2 Switch upside down, and you'll see things that can never be unseen.
So, Nintneod started it, we're just finishing it. (Theres supposed to be a dirty pun in there but I think I messed up the wording.)
@LegendOfPokemon Soccer Physics.
Yeah, that's the one, thanks. Such a simple name. I miss my mind. Must have lost it in the gutter.
@iGen Father of 2 boys, I get to live the "double standard" w/o being a hypocrite about it. Lucky me.
@AlexSora89 "just woke up my pets"
It's like the middle of the day by you, it was time for them to get up anyway.
@rjejr
I'm pretty sure you're still being a hypocrite about it.
@rjejr Knowing Disney, they probably DID license that!
I don't know that I need to see things that can't be unseen regarding J.C. I've already watched him play Eating Contest. That ALREADY can not be unseen. (And why is that game not topping the list for NSFW content?)
I thought it was VERY telling that Nintendo is fully aware of what they've created when they made absolutely certain during Treehouse to NOT have whatsherface, the platinum blonde (Kira, Kara, can't remember her name, I want to say Leslie, but I don't think she's Leslie) participate in demoing either of those games. they just had her lingering mostly off-camera on the stage.
@Blizzia It's for the crowd that "reads Playboy for the articles".....
I get it overall, it's just an odd concept to have to wrap your head around and feels somehow cheap and cynical. It's like an overly literal interpretation of the old marketing mantra "sex sells" distilled into 80 hours of jiggle physics.
Camilla, to me, really harmed the mood. I almost kind of liked the character, but it was done in such a way that it seemed, well, like Senran Kagura. It was kind of out of place, and she should have either been used MORE to make it more relevant, or used less so it wasn't shoved in the forefront all the time. She COULD be interesting, but they never took the time to make her so. (Especially how possibly flat out insane she seems to be she could have been much more interesting.)
Fates....sometimes there's too much of a good thing. I suck...VERY VERY VERY badly at Fire Emblem. Even on casual I suck. I'm not even sure why I'm so bad at it...but I do badly. But I enjoy the worlds and design so I stick it out. Bought all 3, played all of Birthright, played half of Conquest and got so bored of spending on that time just grinding through FE I just put it away and moved on. I'm actually looking forward to Echoes though! I'm not sure what makes Gaiden so different, but the fact that it's the most "different" FE makes me excited to see what it's about.
And everyone wonders why Nintendo don't like talking till the last minute. What's funny is everyone hates Nintendo but are quick to steal Nintendos idea lol people lol
@rjejr We can only hope!
MY EYEEEESSSSS!!!!!
if a single person or 2 people group could make very similar game in a week, that's even more of a reason why 1-2 Switch should have been bundled with the console....
For other mini-games they probably reuse the code anyway, just change a couple of variables for different controller motion
@AlexSora89 Excellent gif! And appropriate!
@iGen Oh good, you're back. I was thinking about your comment before and I was wondering what part or parts troubled you? If it was the 3DS cover, well that's been on this website before, they didn't need me for that.
That cover, this website.
https://www.nintendolife.com/games/3ds/senran_kagura_burst
If it was the "happy endings" comment. Well, most kids reading over that are going to associate it w/ ice cream dessert after a big dinner, kids think what they want to think.
If it was watching it upside down, well I didn't show it, just mentioned it, kids are going to do stuff like that anyway once they get a Switch.
If it was mentioning 4Chan, well my kids would probably just think that's a channel on TV in the UK like BBC 1 or SKY 2 or whatever weird channels they have over there.
So I am aware kids are on here, my kids are on here, and I do take that into consideration and don't put anything obviously offensive on here I wouldn't want them to see. B/c they are subjected to enough bad stuff in real life, like their president talking about grabbing women by the [email protected]$$ and bleeding out of there wherever. That's their president talking on uncensored TV.

@MagicEmperor
I wish I never had to look up "facepalm gif" on Google Images today.
But as the saying goes... Swift happens.
@rjejr
Dunno, animals have weird sleep schedules. My cat is especially notable in that regard: sleepyhead by day, Batman wannabe by night. That hairball has an amazing ability to pick up a fight just about every night, only to come home bruised as a result.
Not messily bruised, mind you. Not always, anyway.
1-2-Lawsuit.
@AlexSora89 Maybe your cat isn't fighting, maybe it's just having fun?
Sorry, been reading too many of your other posts, you have no idea how hard it was for me to keep that comment clean. (I have absolutely no idea what thread I'm in anymore.)
@rjejr

You know that game is a must buy and also WHERE THE HELL IS OVERWATCH
1 2 Switch basically copied Johann Sebastian Joust anyway.
@rjejr
Joke's on you, I mean, on my poor cat. He doesn't have the tools to have the kind of "fun" you're talking about anymore.
1, 2, Get Schwifty.
I mean if they made a Rick and Morty Pokemon clone, it would be funny if they made 1,2, Switch clone.
@NEStalgia Regarding Conquest, you should definitely stick it out till the end, and you've missed the entire story of Fates if you don't do Revelation xD
Regarding Echoes, since it's a remake of Gaiden, it's basically different mostly in the same way Gaiden was. There's an overworld where you can freely move, and then when you encounter enemies on the map, you enter traditional fire emblem gameplay. Think dungeon crawlers where you walk around freely but meet enemies here and there, swapping the gameplay from movement to battle mode.
Not sure if this goes into Echoes, but in Gaiden, weapons didn't degrade, kinda like in Fates.
Again, not sure if this goes into Echoes, but in Gaiden, spellcasters couldn't use Tomes, so they learned spells by lvling up instead. These spells would cost HP, and their effectiveness would be based on the Power stat (prolly just gonna be mag stat or whatever in Echoes, if this goes in)
You change classes by visiting shrines, not finding special items (I love this)
In Gaiden, there was no real support system or a weapon triangle, but I highly expect this to change with Echoes, as it's a series staple by now, and even if it's supposed to deviate a bit, I doubt fans would like it without at least the weapons triangle, and limited support (Gaiden did have crit bonus if ppl fought next to each other tho.)
Also, Gaiden was pretty much casual mode. If a hero died during battle, they were still there afterwards, just not usable in that battle after being "killed".
It might be more your cup of tea than the traditional FE formula
Not entirely surprised. Steam is a platform full of low-effort games like this. As much as I love Steam, it's quality control is almost non-existent.
@AlexSora89 Ouch. Well tell him I'm sorry I woke him up then, might as well be dreaming about better days gone by, no point being awake now is there?
@DragonEleven No, they absolutely cannot take any legal action against the game (or any justified legal action at least); there is ZERO copyright infringement that they can take action over—other than maybe the name at a total push (but, they'd have to get a Trademark for it first, and it's so generic a name that I don't really see the point).
@rjejr
It's a quarter to one AM here, so the cat is awake and already fighting crime on the rooftops.
@Blizzia Very interesting, Gaiden sounds like FE as an RPG rather than TRPG. I'm intrigued (and glad for a reason to keep the 3DS going). I'm surprised they'd remake that one.
Technically I like TRPGs. I just suck tremendously at FE. There's obviously something in the mechanics of it that I'm just not understanding, but I tend to walk into battles and get oblitterated non-stop even when I didn't think I should have. To be fair I do also suck a lot at Devil Summoner, so while I like the genre, I'm apparently not good at them. Stella glow was easier but great though.
@impurekind 1-2-Switch is trademarked, but even if it wasn't, it shows that the similarity is not coincidental, which would be enough to take legal action... if they'd used a completely different name, then what you're saying would be true, but that's not the case here.
@DragonEleven It would take them two seconds to change the name, such as going with "Ready, Steady, Shoot" for example, so it's such a small issue I wouldn't even waste breath on it.
PS. I know they have the "TM" symbol next to the name—something that actually means nothing in legal terms as it's not a real indicator of a registered Trademark (basically, anyone can stick that next to their logo to pretend it's legally protected, as it's just a place-holder and not the official ® you get once you have a proper registered Trademark*)—but can you point me to a link which proves they actually have the Trademark for 1-2 Switch. . . .
I know a little bit about such things:
http://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/news/games-firm-boss-in-legal-battle-with-bullying-warner-bros-over-business-name-1-2590283
And:
