I mean, Sakurai presided over one of the most hyped up set of DLC announcements in history...

This game feels like it was a favour to Sakurai,
like how the continued existence of Pikmin is a favour to Miyamoto.
Which I kind of like despite not having any interest in this game.
(or a Switch 2 for that matter)

The physical edition in Japan is around £38,
not much more than the £34 for Galaxy 2 on eShop.

Is Galaxy 1 much improved on the 3D Collection version?

Wasn't really any point holding a vote for this one.

I remember going to a shopping mall to download Mew back in the day.

I feel like it's lost its specialness since then.

Until I know exactly what is meant by "required",

If Yoshi's Wooly World and Kirby's Epic Yarn came out on Switch 2 but not Switch 1 I'd be pretty disappointed.

Will be interesting to see if they continue supporting the Switch in the way that Sega and Sony did with past consoles over the years.

My suspicion is that other than Pokemon there won't be any Switch games beyond 2026.

Seems like the perfect example of DLC that would be very welcome as free to obtain,
but feels very lacking to charge for it.

Please, this is supposed to be a family Nintendo website.

I'm a bit confused, in what sense is it "required"?
Like, will the games not appear on your TV screen and the buttons on your pro controller not respond if you don't have the accessory?
Do you need it to start the game up to begin with?
Or is it just "required" if you want the full experience?
Because I'd be happy enough just to play Wario Land in red and black.

I have the Expansion membership anyhow,
so guess I can just wait and see.

Looks even more underwhelming when presented like that.
