How wonderfully indicative of modern Japan.

While there aren't enough workers to staff convenience stores in the country, people pretend to work in a convenience store via a simulator, whilst also voting for a government that makes it more difficult for foreign workers to fill the labour shortage in the actual stores. Extraordinary.

Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong are in a relationship.

The Japanese one is a little less offensive to the senses I suppose.

I was surprised they released this on both,
gives me some slight encouragement going forward.

Will give Lylat Wars a run through I reckon.

Not really sure why it's been remade so many times,
the original is fine.

Robust, like Duff Zero's taste.

I know you can't list all the games he's worked on,
but Yoshi's Island is a big omission.

Except Ocarina being in 3D drastically changes the gameplay.

I'm looking through the SNES manual now,
and I don't think the new design looks similar at all.

I feel like a side by side comparison with the 3DS game would be more pertinent.

Revali was based on Falco,
now Falco is based on Revali,
and the two have wholly converged.

I think this is about the right price,
if I had a Switch 2 I think I would get it.

What I find so strange about Nintendo in recent years,
is that they come so close to joined up thinking, but then step away from it.

Donkey Kong got a redesign for the first movie,
but the new area of the park uses the previous look.

They crowbar Fox into the next movie,
then a month later suddenly reveal a new Star Fox game with little build up to the announcement, and little time for hype to build for the game's release.
And the Fox design in the movie looks nothing like that in the new game.

It's like they know they should be more holistic as a company,
but have a deep seated aversion to it.

"Another game" is a little misleading.

I don't know,
which is why we can't have nice things.

Where I am the theatrical run finishes on the 7th.

I have fond memories of Pokemon Snap on the N64,
but surprised it ranks higher than the New version here.

Damn, even less excuse not to bring to Switch.

Just port the original Crazy Taxi onto modern consoles, for goodness sake.

It's on mobile with the classic music,
so that clearly isn't an issue.

There doesn't seem to be any jeopardy.

I wouldn't mind discovering creatures as an extra objective in an adventure,
a collectable in of itself, that merely makes up an encyclopedia and doesn't contribute towards your 100% level completion,
but as the only aim, it looks quite dull and ponderous.

Well that jump rope moon in Odyssey is too damn hard though.

I like the look of this, but think I'd like it more as an actual book than a game.

I'm really enjoying it, but for those that know about competitive battling (not me), they surely need to have removed all bugs.
Any slight thing could sway a match, I presume.

I'm still scarred by 3D.

Just want a port of Woolly World.

Looks pretty cool,
but feel like they could have held off on Splatoon 3,
and added that game's multiplayer to this and made this a full title.
Another sequel on Switch 1 just wasn't needed.

Actually forgot she existed (I expect she pays intense attention to my career though).

Liked a couple of her songs back in the day.

This is really cool for people with the + service on Switch 2.

But I feel the rest of it is being neglected a little bit;
or something is (hopefully) imminent.

I've been really enjoying Pokemon Champions,
and that got 5 out of 10 here.

Yeah, but it's that kind of zany, try-hard kind of strange,
rather than genuinely eccentric, interesting, or amusing.

The kooky, collecting Funko Pops,
deliberately wearing odd socks,
staying in knitting on a Friday night,
smoking a pipe,
kind of strange.

I'm slightly suspicious of people that enjoy these games.
