Re: Hyperkin Is Working On The Ultimate Wii U Pro Controller

This controller is great. Even if the price is not right, I'm still buying one.
I would like to also see a PRO controller with built in Wii controller. Think the gamepad & Splatoon. I heard it's been done before, but with poor results. Usually because the turf party developer doesn't have access to Nintendo's propriety Wii mote.

@shani I think lag does exist & I have seen it (usually in obscure devices or consoles. Example some OUYA games & Chinease console games have it. Usually this is dhe to cheap hardware). But still, I have never seen/experienced lag in a Nintendo product. Can also say it's rare in Sony & Microsoft products. Sometimes I wonder if people who use emulators on PC, while using an official controller are experiencing the "lag."

Re: Reaction: The Concept of eShop 'Early Access' is Both Exciting and Slightly Terrifying

@Spoony_Tech I've been playing Splatoon and have' seen one bug or frame rate issue (then again, we all have the same hardware). Not to mention that it in any way feels "unfinished." Most of the updates (really I can't think of anything in game) have been for on-line play and not the campaign.
The article makes reference to Steam and some of it's games being completely unfinished. Hopefully Nintendo never goes this route.

Re: Talking Point: E3 Highlighted Nintendo's Development Shift Towards NX, and Away from Wii U

TomKnows

@NickBrocious The title of this article is laughable. There is a problem with console gaming, and it is that the market is shrinking. A large portion have moved to mobile. Look at Japan; only Sony & Nintendo have a presence there. Although the West still buys Xbox & are fans of shooters, it's non-existent in that country. Mobile is king there. Here in the states the younger generation of gamers are on mobile. I have kids (5-9 y/o), they and their friends are on mobile. Hopefully Nintendo can court mobile and still get some 3rd party support on any of it's consoles. That goes for the NX; whatever that will be. That's also a sore spot for me WE STILL DO NOT KNOW WHAT OR WHEN THE NX WILL BE. People need to stop talking about it.

Re: Mobile Is Konami's Future, According To President Hideki Hayakawa

TomKnows

@PanurgeJr Exactly. My argument against mobile is that it is "Predatory." The majority of mobile games are based off in game purchases or "features," as "Con"-ami likes to put it. The games aren't good as they're designed around impulse buying and target people who have that kind of immaturity to spend freely. Can't wait for mobile to die.

Re: FullBlast Shooting for the Wii U eShop, According to PEGI Rating

TomKnows

@rjejr Nothing wrong with a good deal of the games from OUYA. Especially in the survival horror & SHMUP dept. Admittedly though, I have'nt pulled out my OUYA in a while. I've been to busy with the Wii U and now Bloodborne.
Anyway, I'm getting this game & hope Wii U gets some more mobile SHMUPS (they seemed to have moved there). Heck, CAVE is on mobile.

Re: Here’s Why Axiom Verge is Not Initially Coming to Wii U

Don't be so pessimistic. Sony has been announcing this for a while. It's obviously a timed exclusive. I'd played the demo at GameStop and it doesn't seem unusually good, but still satisfying, compared to Metroid. I'd still buy it, in that I'm sure the demo didn't show all the game has to offer.
