@MightyKrypto How 'bout Nintendo makes a come back first! Really we need some more stability in the gaming market; with all the games being "patched," after release.
This controller is great. Even if the price is not right, I'm still buying one. I would like to also see a PRO controller with built in Wii controller. Think the gamepad & Splatoon. I heard it's been done before, but with poor results. Usually because the turf party developer doesn't have access to Nintendo's propriety Wii mote.
@shani I think lag does exist & I have seen it (usually in obscure devices or consoles. Example some OUYA games & Chinease console games have it. Usually this is dhe to cheap hardware). But still, I have never seen/experienced lag in a Nintendo product. Can also say it's rare in Sony & Microsoft products. Sometimes I wonder if people who use emulators on PC, while using an official controller are experiencing the "lag."
@Peach64 I was thinking in the same direction. But, also possibly an "add-on," like the Gboy player for gamecube. The Wii U has a total of 4 usb's, not to mention you could possibly stream (everyone seems to be doing it. PS4 to Vita). I don't think it will be a graphical powerhouse, but instead hardware that is "easy" to develop for (along the lines of PS4 or Xbox).
Gotta say I'm starting to think the pacing is ok. With the release of indies & 1st party games I want, I've been broke lately. Not to mention my household games & I pay for all of it.
@Spoony_Tech I've been playing Splatoon and have' seen one bug or frame rate issue (then again, we all have the same hardware). Not to mention that it in any way feels "unfinished." Most of the updates (really I can't think of anything in game) have been for on-line play and not the campaign. The article makes reference to Steam and some of it's games being completely unfinished. Hopefully Nintendo never goes this route.
@NickBrocious The title of this article is laughable. There is a problem with console gaming, and it is that the market is shrinking. A large portion have moved to mobile. Look at Japan; only Sony & Nintendo have a presence there. Although the West still buys Xbox & are fans of shooters, it's non-existent in that country. Mobile is king there. Here in the states the younger generation of gamers are on mobile. I have kids (5-9 y/o), they and their friends are on mobile. Hopefully Nintendo can court mobile and still get some 3rd party support on any of it's consoles. That goes for the NX; whatever that will be. That's also a sore spot for me WE STILL DO NOT KNOW WHAT OR WHEN THE NX WILL BE. People need to stop talking about it.
@TheDavyStar exactly. Here in the US, Duck Game has been advertised as an Adult Swim game. It's been on OUYA over a year. Damn good game, as well as Willow.
@Tops Even post E3, I kept things in perspective. There are plenty of Nintendo games i'll definitely get. I also have a PC & PS4. Still, nintendo is top on my list.
@outburst I own multiple devices and the apps are just better with Apple. Hardware & support us a different story. Really, if anything, Nintendo would adopt a mobile OS for the Apps, right?
@PanurgeJr Exactly. My argument against mobile is that it is "Predatory." The majority of mobile games are based off in game purchases or "features," as "Con"-ami likes to put it. The games aren't good as they're designed around impulse buying and target people who have that kind of immaturity to spend freely. Can't wait for mobile to die.
@Grumblevolcano wonder if the mini games are any good.? Maybe they can eventually be placed on the Eshop as budget titles. Really, I have no problem with this being locked, with amiibo's support. I was exited for the game before this.
@Tops IGN (YouTube) had a developer interview. It was for everything you said. The game looked & seemed to run smooth. It would of been a better interview, but I felt the developer didn't really sell it. I'm getting the game.
@dres I'm sure there's be a demand for the whole Panzer Saga (games). Either way, this is a good game. I've got the disc, but will get the digital if/when it reaches North America.
@JLPick We need Silent Hill & Fatal Frame on the same platform. If they could get the Castlvania license; we need a 2D "Castlvania Maker," (much like Mario Maker. NINTENDO FTW!
@JLPick We need Silent Hill & Fatal Frame on the same platform. If they could get the Castlvania license; we need a 2D "Castlvania Maker," (much like Mario Maker. NINTENDO FTW!
@RIDE88 the 360 just came out (jap region only) with a collection of the old Gamecube SHMUPS. Actually probably arcade ports, but they were all in GC. Oh, not Ikaruga but the Radirgy etc. For the game above, I'm getting it.
@rjejr Nothing wrong with a good deal of the games from OUYA. Especially in the survival horror & SHMUP dept. Admittedly though, I have'nt pulled out my OUYA in a while. I've been to busy with the Wii U and now Bloodborne. Anyway, I'm getting this game & hope Wii U gets some more mobile SHMUPS (they seemed to have moved there). Heck, CAVE is on mobile.
@blujay1524 Iwata already commented & said, the only reason for the NX announcement is to let consumers know they are not stepping away from consoles. We'll see unity this generation & probably a better iteration when the NX arrives (years from now).
@Danrenfroe2016 I'm Native American mix (most people think I'm Mexican), and don't see anything wrong. I pretty much have the same skin color. Beside we don't know the roles in the game. People ar too sensitive. I'm getting this!
Don't be so pessimistic. Sony has been announcing this for a while. It's obviously a timed exclusive. I'd played the demo at GameStop and it doesn't seem unusually good, but still satisfying, compared to Metroid. I'd still buy it, in that I'm sure the demo didn't show all the game has to offer.

@Grumblevolcano can't agree more. I have the hardest time finding older games on my PS3 and/or VITA. For me the interface of the Eshop is very straight forward. Only thing I like about PSN is you don't immediately have to download games. Anyway this could be done on Eshop.

Re: We Can't Release Virtual Console Games Any Faster As It Would Impact New Development, Says Iwata
@Koz Not all emulators run all ROMS effectively. I always wanted to play Ikaruga on my Wii (cough cough) but that never effectively happened.

@Nintend0ro there is a campaign/story mode. But, I've been hard pressed to find any info on it. At least get the game when it goes on sale.

@Gamecubed Sure was. Glad I'm not alone.

@JLPick It had only been listed as Wii U. Amazon of America, now says PS4 also. Wii U has the cheaper version. No details if any real difference.

@rjejr Leg stirrups??? Anyone?

Re: Here’s Why Axiom Verge is Not Initially Coming to Wii U
Don't be so pessimistic. Sony has been announcing this for a while. It's obviously a timed exclusive. I'd played the demo at GameStop and it doesn't seem unusually good, but still satisfying, compared to Metroid. I'd still buy it, in that I'm sure the demo didn't show all the game has to offer.
