I’ve never even so much as touched Minecraft so predictably I failed miserably with 5/15.

It did absolutely nothing for me and that’s okay. I’m more than occupied at the moment.

Calling Hyper Light Drifter open world is quite a stretch.

RE4 is more than worth it even without gyro controls.

I’m disappointed that ‘stalk’ wasn’t used in place of ‘stock’

I work in an Amazon warehouse and this doesn’t surprise me at all. The volume that we’re dealing with right now is insane, comparable to the holiday period. In terms of staffing we simply aren’t prepared to handle this volume so it makes sense to delay some shipments to make the work more manageable while we hire and train more associates.

@TIND I played both Doom and Wolfenstein and wasn’t bothered at all by the graphics. To call them barely playable is being extremely hyperbolic.

Zelda, Monster Hunter, Hyper Drifter, and both Warriors games are not RPGs. You guys are really stretching with this list.

@EvaEeveeFan The games existing on a Nintendo platform does not mean that Nintendo is catering to them. Your distaste for them should not prevent others from enjoying these games. Hell, I’m usually against gratuitous violence and gore but I absolute loved Doom 2016. I would not have been able play it had it not been released on the Switch.

Ignore them. It’s really that simple.

@johnvboy It’s not a great value, though. It’s downright cynical and predatory. There is nothing redeemable about it so please stop trying to rationalize it.

@EvaEeveeFan Why shouldn’t violent games be on Nintendo consoles? Whether you like it or not there is an audience for these games. Just ignore them and pretend that they don’t exist if you need to.

@johnvboy I’m indifferent to micro transactions. It’s that specific monetization model of Mario Kart Tour that I find disgusting. It’s the combination of the stupid subscription (same cost as Apple Arcade and more than NSO) and the extremely low odds of unlocking anything other than a Kart part paired with charging $20 for a guarantee of unlocking a character.

I’m not wasting the storage space on my phone for this game. Mario Kart isn’t my thing and the monetization is disgusting.

This will be the fifth game that I’ve bought in the past week. My wallet is feeling the pain.

@AxeltheCorvikni It’s a football game...in America. Of course it’s going to take the top spot in the charts.

@Darkyoshi98 I’m on my third pair of Joycons and neither of the previous two pairs have suffered any sort of rough or unusual treatment. There is very much a design flaw at play here.

@Kalmaro Can you name any other developers as incompetent, though? They are definitely the exception.

@Kalmaro Bethesda is an exceptionally poor developer. The persist in using the same old engine even though it’s a buggy mess and they’re continually breaking more in Fallout 76 than they’re fixing. They aren’t a good example at all.

As great as Animal Crossing looks it can definitely wait. I’m already struggling to keep up with the games that I’m currently playing and it’s only going to get worse with each month that passes.

This is a really poor review. It’s really short and doesn’t spend enough time focusing on how the game actually plays. The technical side of things, while certainly important, is not something I necessarily want to be the focus of a review. It’s basically assuming we’ve already played the game.

@Scottwood101 It was advertised as a North American presentation. Of course the sales are going to focused towards that region.

I’ll stick to FIFA for my soccer fix.

I started watching the video then stopped when I realized it’s completely irrelevant to me. The Switch is the only console that I own so it makes no difference how it looks and performs on other consoles.

Thanks to my work schedule my weekend actually just ended. I bounced between Dark Souls, MHGU, Breath of the Wild, and Gear.Club Unlimited 2. I played the occasional matches in Tetris 99 as well.

They can take however long they need to. I’ve got more than enough games keeping me occupied, a massive backlog, and several other games coming out this year that I’m interested in.

Thank god for the ban. The giveaways were having a very negative impact on the sub. They were drowning out all other posts and preventing actual discussion and sharing of content.

They’ve certainly taken a strange approach. Launch the service undercooked, watch it fall short of expectations, and then respond by adding value later on.

I’m torn between wanting a sequel to Heist and something completely new. Heist is one of my all time favorite indie games but I really want to see what else they can do.

I’m really enjoying my time with Gear.Club Unlimited 2. It definitely has its fair share of problems but they’ve been more than manageable for me. In some areas the game noticeably has difficulty responding to inputs (the Club menu can get incredibly laggy and when switching between parts during customization) but I haven’t encountered anything approaching what the reviewer has.

I don’t need a reminder of that trash. I love the idea but the execution is just inexcusably bad. Gear.Club Unlimited 2 has my interest instead. Tuesday can’t come soon enough.

Would be useless for me. I moved on from physical ages ago.

It’s ultimately pointless for me. I will always use my iPad over my Switch for YouTube or any sort of video streaming.

I’m not even going to bother downloading it. I don’t use my Switch docked (I don’t even have the dock anymore) and I am always going to choose my iPad over my Switch for YouTube viewing.

I just bought my 42nd and 43rd games this week (Doom and Inside). And Moonlighter is out next week. My Switch has basically claimed ownership over my wallet at this point.

Already have Dark Souls downloaded and waiting to be played.

I’m dying for details on the combat system.

I think they went the phone route because the Switch doesn’t have any sort of microphone built in. And Reggie’s point is that you’re always going to have your phone with you, plus you won’t have to carry around a headset.

SteamWorld Heist is probably my all time favorite indie game and I adored both Dig games. I can’t wait for more!

I’ve played just one match and I’m in love with FIFA 19. For me personally it’s worth the upgrade just for the improvements to presentation and addition of video capture functionality.
