Thank god! I absolutely love the game but it has been incredibly unstable for me.

Well, guess I finally gotta finish Octopath 2. This sounds excellent.

I’ve had a Switch since 2017 and don’t own a single physical game. I am 100% down with a digital only model.

I wasn’t intending on playing immediately (because of Borderlands 3 and many other games) anyway so I’m not bothered at all.

I find it rather odd that one of the negative points is the battle system. That’s just how the series plays and to expect any sort of change in DLC is foolish.

God I hope that’s a preview of the soundtrack of the game. If so I’m sold on the music alone. Those are some sick riffs!

For the first time in years I’m excited about a FIFA (EA Sports FC) game.

On topic, I’m almost 120 in and TOTK is easily my all time favorite game. It’s in a class of it’s own.

For my money Tears of the Kingdom is the best game of all time. The answer is obvious .

I absolutely adore how vibrant and color it looks!

I played Fortnite exactly once after it launched on Switch. I absolutely sucked at it so I quickly uninstalled it and moved on.

@Namco This is a bonus update. They made it clear during the stream that it originally wasn’t part of the plan.

@Rykdrew Apples to oranges comparison. One is a roguelite (a genre whose games last hours upon hours) and the other is a Metroidvania which is generally a much shorter experience.

@Rykdrew Metroid Prime Remastered is $40. And given the love and care put that was put in it’s worth every penny. You might want to lay off the salt.

I’m at 10 hours. I’ve found the Xenoblade 3 DLC too good to ignore.

Once the trailer got extremely gory I noped out. I’m fine with some gore (I LOVE the Doom games) but this is just WAY too much.

Literally the only Final Fantasy game that I’ve ever played is Explorers. I’m sure I’m missing out but I’m more than covered when it comes to RPGs.

@Anti-Matter You do realize that it gets regular content updates, right? Patching bugs is all part of the process of steady, regular support.

Only missed the Earthbound question. I’ve never played it and only have the most basic of knowledge about it.

The Japanese cover is messy compositionally.

They combine the handheld and home console divisions. You also have to consider how incredibly the Switch has been. There is no going back.

This is confusing because it’s already been released on the Switch. I’ve had it downloaded for a couple weeks now.

Sadly it’ll be a while until I can play. I’ve got my hands full with Xenoblade 3 and Nier Automata at the moment.

@JAPBOO Because they are new. New look, new attacks, new equipment to craft. I do want to get more distinct monsters, though, particularly elder dragons.

I’m in the final chapter of the first game and then I’m planning on playing the second immediately afterward. The wait to play this is going to be painful!

The fact that they only work 32 hours is a little baffling. Just make it four 10s. Personally I’ve been working on a 4/10 schedule for the past seven years and the lengthened weekends are AWESOME.

@RupeeClock I personally only played FIFA because it allowed me to play as the Sounders and other MLS teams. I’m more than certain a decent portion of players are in the same position.

Why choose to develop for a dead system to begin with? This is completely on them.

God I hope we get some sort of expansion for Legends Arceus. I’m not even done playing and I want more!

These quotes along with the announcement itself makes it abundantly clear that it isn’t a cloud game. How much more obvious can it get?

I can’t wait to get mine. Given that I play exclusively in handheld I’m beyond excited for the new screen and dramatically better battery life.

Is a headphone jack cover really necessary, though? It poses a hazard, too, if the top portion ever gets broken off.

As someone who plays exclusively in handheld mode I’m incredibly excited for the upgraded screen and speakers. Hell, I’m excited to have a Switch with two functional speakers (the right one died on my 2017 Switch).

@JokerCK Rise’s roadmap only goes through the end of August. I’m 100% certain we’ll get another substantial update or two before the inevitable G Rank expansion.

@UltimateOtaku91 Adding more post-game content is a bad thing? I feel the need to mention that co-op and competitive PvP exist.

This style of pixel art is a complete turn off for me. It’s far too simplistic and pixelated.

I absolutely love the concept but considering I have no interest in Mario Kart (I haven’t touched 8 Deluxe since 2017) as well as the high cost of entry this is not for me.

It’s extremely expensive and I see nothing compelling about it. I have zero interest.
