Dark Souls, Just Dance and The Strike for me - all physical releases though. Probably will download The Room.
Dark Souls and possibly Valkyria Chronicles for me this week.
Dark Souls interests me the most but not getting them yet, I still have other stuff on my wishlist I need to get first... And that's AFTER I finally beat Megaman 11
Dark Souls remastered for me tomorrow. (Physical). That will be all until Red Dead Redemption 2 next week 😁.
I’m good. Starlink is more engrossing than I thought it’d be. This is not your child’s toys-to-life game. I’ll likely be playing it thoroughly until Let’s Go hits.
While Vakyria Chronicles and Dark Souls are big highlights this week, there's a bunch of great indie titles as always: Black Bird, WILL and the Missing all look to be imaginative and evocative titles. Can't wait to check them out.
I don't like Dark Souls, the control is bad. I have no idea this game is so awkward, it is difficult because the control is sh*t.
This game feels like it's made by amateur devs, but it's Bandai Namco?!
Dark Souls for me (physical), can't wait.
Already have Dark Souls downloaded and waiting to be played.
wow. Thats a ridiculous pile of shovelware this week
Is it Dec 7th yet? I’m starting to get antsy waiting for Smash. Usually pretty patient but this wait has been especially excruciating.
Many retails this week, this is great! I will play dark Souls for sure.
@Fake-E-Lee
I'm 230 hour in MHGU and I'm only starting G rank.
Granted, I take my time and I do as many quest as I can instead of rushing to end game.
You guys wanna know what the switch needs. NOTHING, CAUS ENOW WE GOT A PAWPATROL GAME AND EVERYONE WILL ALWAYS BE HAPPY NOW.
Windjammers!
Nickelodian Kart Racers looks like fun.
Isn't that ZeroDiv port for Tengai 3 coming out today? Or next week?
Lots of good Engrish in the game descriptions this week. Very solid week for that.
@Mando44646: It does look like it, but only time will tell for certain.
@Everyone_Else: The Pizza Titan thing sound interesting. Maybe it's nothing, maybe it's good. Time will tell.
I've been waiting five months for Dark Souls, so I'll be picking it up tomorrow after work! Beyond stoked!
My wallet can't handle anything. Picked up Megaman 11, Luigi's Mansion and Starlink: Battle for Atlas. The next game I'll get is Diablo 3.
Nothing for me, although I hate running backwards sounds interesting. I'm still enjoying Mark of the Ninja, and I might try Guacamelee soon, but next week will probably be all about RDR2.
I am very interested in Black Bird. It appears to be a very weird shmup and I like weird and I like shmups. I will wait for a review though
So engrossed in Starlink and Super Mario Party. I will get Valkyria Chronicles eventually because 4 was very fun, but after I'm finished with the other two.
I'm somewhat interested in Valkyria Chronicles and Syberia, but not necessarily at those prices.
If Paw Patrol drops, that could be a fun title for the little one, but not at $40.
I'd love to see a Just Dance Kids come back or a Just Dance Disney - those were fun titles with music that I didn't necessarily mind the little one listening to while hopping around.
@HobbitGamer Same! Honestly I can’t get over how big this game is. I can just pick a planet and go there with no loading screens!
I am going to get syberia 3 to complete the trilogy.
@SimplyCinnamon53 And the modding. Oh so many mods!
"The bird is one of the great calamities, spoken of in the kingdom since ancient times."
So would you say that everyone has heard about the bird and, in fact, the bird is the WORD?
@HobbitGamer If you put mods on one weapon does it work for them all? I doubt it but was just curious. I love the ship mods though
Starlink has been a growing regret purchase for me. SUPER REDUNDANT. HOWEVER I got Valkyria Chronicles 4 a week ago and it is soooo much more than I hoped, that I feel like it's outsetting my regret pains of Starlink. So I'll def buy the original when I'm done with this one. Dark Souls I'm super pumped for (never have played but have watched on in envy in previous years), even got an amiibo secured!
@HobbitGamer Have you been to Sontatus or Vylus yet? Those planets are so beautiful!
@SimplyCinnamon53 It's too bad the weapons are behind a paywall, and that they didn't go crazy with putting that as a main component of "earning as reward" in the game (as they sort of do with the reg upgrades). I think this game could have been amazing if they had integrated the toys purchases INTO things you earned.
@Dang69 Why don’t you like Starlink? I’m falling in love with it
@Dang69 Did you get the physical? I can see how that would be annoying. I got the digital and it’s a lot more fun having lots of weapon options.
Paw Patrol On A Roll!
Meh, hard pass
@SimplyCinnamon53 The game is fussing at me to go to sonatas but I’m still kicking between krite and haven doing fetch quests and exploring. Weapon mods only apply to the weapon they’re on, yeah.
@Dang69 I think they struggled with making it TtL and not be pay-to-win in regards to weapons. I bought digital standard, so I’ve got quite a few weapons, but there’s a few I don’t have. I guess they figured if a buyer starts physical then they’d be interested in the toy unlocks, but starting digitally would indicate a buyer isn’t headed that way.
Dark Souls is such a PS4 over Switch for me.
I'm so happy that Just Shapes and Beats is getting a demo. I've really wanted to try it.
I pre-purchased & downloaded Dark Souls (first Souls game for me). I also DL'd Valkyria Chronicles the other day, & I'll DL Syberia 3 today.
Arcade Archives Ninja Kid II and ACA NeoGeo Strikers 1945 Plus were also released today on the US eShop. This time they aren't even listed in the EU update.
It's too bad that Dark Souls got pushed so much I would have gotten it back when it originally came out and had it on pre-order, but now my backlog is to much to get it at this point. Maybe in the future, but it's a big maybe right now.
@RandomLeo00 i am 40 hours in only to find out that Hunter rank is only for the online portion. I was playing village mission all this time and was wondering why my rank was not going up.
Nothing for me. Hold off for RD2
Other news, MHGU is at a good price point now.

I will be buying WindJammers next week for sure... loved it so much in the arcades as a kid.
Also, I picked up Ghost 1.0 on sale early this week ($5!!). I wasn't expecting much, but loving Metroidvanias I thought for the price I would give it a go. WOW, I absolutely love this game and am having trouble putting it down. I absolutely include this as one of the best games on Switch so far and cannot believe I payed the same price as a Starbucks Coffee for it. I am over 10 hours in now and still have a ways to go. Highly recommend while it's on sale
I would have gladly bought Dark Souls before it was delayed. Now with Diablo coming in a few weeks, my money is going towards it instead.
@SimplyCinnamon53 I get a 20 percent off discount at Best Buy - so I'm like might as well get the physical one (my discount brought it to 60 and the digital was 60 anyway). But as I'm playing it....I'm feeling like not only am I bummed by the lack of variety so far, but the baddies get bullet spongey or annoying because I don't have variety of weapons. So...I'm just really bummed. Gonna try to sell my whole physical thing for like 50 buck and rebuy the digital for 60. Feel...let down by UBI that it wasn't obvious the digital had more in it (i thought I had researched better)...thought the pricing on the eshop was for a 60 dollar unlock.
@HobbitGamer I agree with that logic...figured as much too. I just think like I should have more variety in my elemental ones. I wonder if because this is toys to life, best buy would let me return it? I want digital instead.
@Dang69 Well I did notice on Nintendo’s site for each “DLC” that it says Collection 1. So maybe there will be more variety in the future? I hope so, because I like the missile volley weapons, but only have ice. There’s a vortex variant, but I was able to snag the standard digital for only 67 cents out of pocket and am holding money for a bit. And I would feel silly right now spending $12 for the dlc that includes it.
Solid week, Dark Souls and VC for me. Might snag 3 Count Bout too.
3 Count Bout came out last week, not this week. This weeks Arcade Archives are Ninja Kid II and ACA NeoGeo Strikers 1945 Plus. For some odd reason, the US press releases only list last week's Arcade Archives games.
@Dang69 Sorry to hear that! Hope the digital version works out good for you!
@ButterCup I'm kind of amazed it took someone this long to make a Paw Patrol game. Not that I'm looking forward to it or anything. Is it just that... has the market shifted away from consoles so much that even licensed shovelware isn't jumping on licenses after they become hot.
Or is because THQ died years ago? Crapping out Nick games was certainly their thing.
Dark Souls Remastered
Will the physical copy of Dark Souls require a download?
Momonga! Loved playing that a few years ago on my wife's iPhone.
I am absolutely buying Valkyria Chronicles. It's just a matter of if I am gonna buy it now, or wait.
Anyone play Legend of Evil yet? Any thoughts?
@Truxton_4_Life Sengoku Cannon never got localized before, so Zerodiv will have to localize it themselves, which might take multiple months (i simply bought it from the JP eShop, it's not like the story is THAT important). However, keep in mind it's not really a true Psikyo game, it was made after the company was bought out and heavily restructured.
@bluesdance I definitely recommend Black Bird.
