FIFA is legimately one of the motivations for me getting a Switch (along with Zelda and Splatoon). I'm beyond excited for this.

Was at Target this morning and saw a couple on display. Of course I jumped on the opportunity and bought one.

@Arnold-Kage The story of the first game has no significant links to this one.

Originally bought Bony Spirits at launch and just got Fleshy Souls a couple weeks ago so I could link the games. Looks like I'll be triple-dipping.

I'll be downloading this as soon as it hits the US. Loved the first game.

This REALLY makes me think of Sub Wars, which is a very good thing. It's a shame that it has no online, though. My decision to purchase now hinges on what reviews have to say about the single player. If it isn't substantial enough, like the single player in Sub Wars, then I'm gonna have to pass.

As long as it's a legitimate FIFA game I don't care. I haven't played a true FIFA game since 13 on may 3DS.

I've been keeping my eye on this. Hopefully they didn't abandon the 3DS version.

@azelf If you liked the original, you'll love the sequels. Though there are flaws (both new and old), the game as a whole is so good it's easy to look past them.

I'm pre-loading it right now. Can't wait to play!

Still haven't touch Plague of Shadows, but Spectre Knight looks incredibly fun to play. This may tempt me back to Shovel Knight.

I liked what I saw in NintenDaan's footage, but the lack of online kind of kills my interest.

@Crono1973 I was bragging? You can make all the arguments you want for physical, I simply don't care.

As for the points you brought up:

1. Never used Action Replay, never intend to. Cheating isn't my thing.
2. That's why I don't just buy on impulse, I buy games that I know I will enjoy. The only game I regret buying is RE Mercenaries 3D and that was on sale for $5.

@Crono1973 The card cost $16, but it isn't just for DQ VIII. I'm currently sitting at less than 5000 blocks on my 32GB card, really not enough to support downloading any more games. The upgrade was necessary and I'm willing to pay a premium for the convenience of digital.

Got a bigger SD card on the way so I can download Dragon Quest VIII.

Wow, I can't wait to get this. Unfortunately I still haven't touched the post-game in Moon, I'm in the process of playing through Yokai Watch 2, and just started back up on Hyrule Warriors Legends. It may be a challenge finding the time to play everything.

Would resonate far more with me if it were Brad Evans (or any Sounders player) rather than someone from the Seahawks. Oh well, I can still appreciate the Seattle connection.

Wow, guess it's a good thing that I went ahead and got VII instead of waiting in order to focus on other games. The games just keep coming.

Not too thrilled with the starter's final evolutions. They just don't look right to me.

Guess I benefit from waiting on Generations, though I'm still far from finished with 4 Ultimate. Guess I should probably get back to that.

@c1pher_c0mplet Not sure how you're drawing that conclusion. What I read was that there would be no new Mega Evolutions in Sun/Moon, not that they're scrapping them completely.

Edit: Nevermind, that is definitely implied in the Eurogamer article.

@PanzerNomad You can also use the R trigger to fire. It's handy for those instances.

Prior to the update Blast Ball was borderline unplayable online, now it's incredibly smooth and frustration-free. Thank god.

This looks like a project from a programming class. This level of quality is unacceptable if you're expecting people to actually pay for it.

The inclusion of full-on soccer has me looking forward to this. The other sports are a bonus for me, really.

Your estimated clear time of five hours is being incredibly generous. I just finished getting three stars on every level and have clocked in just barely over two hours.

I intend to get this, I just don't know when. I've got too many games on my plate at the moment, massive ones in particular (I'm looking at you HWL, MH4U, and BS).

As a Sounders fan I love that green but there is no way that it's making it over the states.

It's going to be quite a while until I can get to these new stages. I'm currently stuck on Mega Rayquaza.

I'm actually not too bothered that the 3DS isn't getting Afterbirth (at least at the moment). I've got more than enough on my plate gaming-wise at the moment and for the foreseeable future.

Got the Collectors Edition pre-ordered from Amazon. Can't wait.

I love how the site isn't optimized for the iPad. Looks pretty bad in it's current state, it doesn't even improve by changing screen orientation.

No downloads for me. I've got Hyrule Warriors Legends coming via Amazon tomorrow, though. I can't pass up that 20% Prime discount.

All last year I bought digital and don't regret a thing. I started getting physical again due to the discounts and lower prices on Amazon, though I still prefer the convenience of digital.

I put over a hundred hours into Bravely Default and plan to do the same with this one. Sounds excellent.
