Good on them for casting relatively unknown actors, and I wish all of them the best. That said, I'm still unable to see a scenario where this film turns out well... Hope I'm very wrong! 🤞🏼
@impurekind I see. The article is a bit misleading then, as they specifically talk about "throwing a Pokéball" - should've stated its gyro that's mandatory, that's much less terrible.
Well, to be fair, Odyssey released ~8 months after Switch launched, while the Let's Go games will launch over a year after that came out. The install base will be much, much bigger.
The one single reason they will ever stop selling 3DS is if it becomes largely unprofitable. They always say they'll keep supporting old systems when new ones come out, but rarely do for long.
Great for him! Also... how has Miyamoto not yet received such an award? He's the #1 lost influential figure in the entire history of videogames, without a shadow of a doubt.
Only makes sense. They'd be foolish not to milk the 3DS and its install base for the fat cash cow it is. Like he said - it's aimed at kids getting into gaming for the 1st time, and people with a small budget, and for that audience 3DS is perfect. Obviously their main focus is Switch, but 3DS provides an easy extra revenue stream.
Hm. Colour me skeptic. Although if this makes the game worth playing, I might get it! Also, I assume there must be some good reason they couldn't split up the big patch into 2 or more smaller ones?
I just hope it's a locked 60fps now. Really no reason why it shouldn't, seeing as it'll be 720p, same as on Wii U, and that version targeted 60fps (although it didn't manage that very well at all).
@Bizzyb What are you talking about, 'potential' to outsell PS4...? Switch is going to pass PS4 in Japan next year, easily. PS4 isn't actually that big of a seller, in Japan.

Re: Random: Reggie Says Animal Crossing: New Horizons Should Give Out More Star Fragments - Do You Agree?
I have never even seen a shooting star and I've played the game for close to 100 hours.
Re: New Standard Nintendo Switch Revision Offers Significantly Improved Battery Life
Nice. That's an incredible improvement!
Re: Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD Launches On Switch In October
Wow, those are some Pokémon-level animations.
Re: Mario Kart 7 Is Still Selling Like Hotcakes
Nintendo will very probably release a new Mario Kart game at the very start of every new gen from now on. It's basically their top-selling IP now.
Re: Here Are The Top Ten Best-Selling Nintendo Switch Games As Of March 2019
Wow @ Splatoon 2 closing in on 10m. Who'd have thought!
Re: Pre-Orders Are Now Live For This Gorgeous Switch Zelda Controller
So no HD rumble and no integrated, rechargeable batteries, eh? Meh.
Re: Legend Of Zelda Concert CD And Blu-Ray Available To Order Now
I wish they'd simply release a CD with all of the songs from the Zelda concerts. Not just a limited selection. :/
Re: New Nintendo Labo Kit Introduces VR Gaming On Switch This April
... So not a single video about it?
Re: Summer In Mara Will Bring Zelda: Wind Waker Vibes To Switch This September
Nice! Looks good to me. :]
Re: UK Retailer Lists Potential Release Dates For Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion 3 On Switch
Weird. Luigi's Mansion would seem like an October/Halloween game.
Re: Download Warning Ruins Box Art For Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster
Surely whichever publisher does this to their games surely has the decency to include a reversible cover without such unsightly additions?
Re: Japanese Charts: Smash Bros. Ultimate Stays In Top Spot While Switch Maintains Momentum
Switch already outsold the base PS4 + PS4 Slim combined in Japan, in well under 2 years - that's incredible!
Re: Video: Chucklefish Prepares For Battle With A New WarGroove Gameplay Trailer
Chucklefish does what Nintendon't.
Re: Switch Port Of ABZÛ Created Many "Technical Challenges" For The Dev Team At Room 8
I've been wanting a new Endless Ocean game since the 2nd game came out. T_T

How long will this sale go on for?
Re: Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee Combined Launch Sales Give New Entries Strong Start In The UK
Shame there aren't any digital numbers available.

Yeah, he's done. Bye bye, mister.

Oh no.

Jesus.

1st person.

Oh my.
Re: Nintendo's Recent Legal Action Against ROM-Sharing Sites Scares Major Player Into Removing Downloads
Excellent.
Re: Random: Zelda Fan Spends 484 Hours Completing Every Game In The Series To 100%
400 of those were probably spent on BotW. xD
Re: Switch Reignites Video Game Console Market In Japan After 10-Year Slump
No wonder Nintendo wanted in on all those scrumptious mobile profits.
Re: Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee Director Explains Why Motion Controls Are Mandatory
@impurekind I see. The article is a bit misleading then, as they specifically talk about "throwing a Pokéball" - should've stated its gyro that's mandatory, that's much less terrible.
Re: Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee Director Explains Why Motion Controls Are Mandatory
... How does that work in handheld mode, with the Joy-Con attached?
Re: Video: Watch Rafael Nadal Take On Mario In The Mario Tennis Aces Trailer
@Ryu_Niiyama Right, same here, but I'm talking about the general public. Just by association I guess some people would assume he's in the game... 🤷♂️
Re: Video: Watch Rafael Nadal Take On Mario In The Mario Tennis Aces Trailer
Isn't this sort of misleading, in that unsuspecting buyers will be expecting Nadal to be playable in-game...?
Re: Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee Launch Shipments Will Be Larger Than Any Switch Game To Date
Well, to be fair, Odyssey released ~8 months after Switch launched, while the Let's Go games will launch over a year after that came out. The install base will be much, much bigger.
Re: Pokémon Core Series RPG Will Arrive In The Second Half Of 2019
So the Let's Go games are relatively simple placeholder games to tide people over until the real next gen of Pokémon games arrives. Makes sense.
Re: Nintendo Says 3DS Will Keep Being Sold Unless Switch Becomes A "One-Per-Person System"
The one single reason they will ever stop selling 3DS is if it becomes largely unprofitable. They always say they'll keep supporting old systems when new ones come out, but rarely do for long.
Re: Random: We Have Our First Nintendo Labo Knock-Off
Seems like a fun new way to 'paly'. 😅
Re: Nintendo's Genyo Takeda Honoured With Lifetime Achievement Award By Academy Of Interactive Arts & Sciences
@Yasaal Not one of these.

Hm. Colour me skeptic. Although if this makes the game worth playing, I might get it! Also, I assume there must be some good reason they couldn't split up the big patch into 2 or more smaller ones?
Re: Eiji Aonuma Says Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Is "Maybe The Most Fun" He's Had Making Games
I bet whoever came up with the idea of Typhlo Ruins in BotW is less happy about the motorbike and its giant bright headlight. 😋
Re: Former Metroid Prime Developer Reflects On Cut Content From The Trilogy
@Heavyarms55 That's exactly what Metroid Prime Hunters on DS did. 😋
Re: Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Super Mario 3D Land And Ultimate NES Remix Join The Nintendo Selects Range
So that's what the ALBW rumours from a while ago were about. Not a Switch port. Makes sense.
Re: Mario Tennis Aces Brings A GBA-Style Story Mode To Switch
I want this.
Re: Bayonetta 2 On Switch Will Come With These Changes
I just hope it's a locked 60fps now. Really no reason why it shouldn't, seeing as it'll be 720p, same as on Wii U, and that version targeted 60fps (although it didn't manage that very well at all).
Re: Rumour Buster: That New Switch Firmware 5.0 Leak Is Amazing, But Fake
As expected.
Re: Switch Set To Overtake Wii U In Japan After Less Than A Year On Sale
@Bizzyb What are you talking about, 'potential' to outsell PS4...? Switch is going to pass PS4 in Japan next year, easily. PS4 isn't actually that big of a seller, in Japan.
Re: Reggie on Mario, Zelda, and Splatoon Sales Performance on the Switch
Worldwide or American sales? Reggie usually only talks about American stuff. Article doesn't mention anything about this.
Re: Nintendo Switch is Still Number One in the Japanese Charts
Switch once again outselling everything else combined. Feels like it's 2008 all over again.
Re: Kirby And Friends Are Getting Some Super Cute Big Chinned-Gachapon Toys
Oh, Japan.
Re: Bayonetta 3 is In Development and is a Switch Exclusive
@SanderEvers I would guess so, too.
Re: Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 Are Arriving on Switch in February
Finally the game will be able to sell a good amount, without being held back by a system's lack of popularity.
