Well, to be fair, Odyssey released ~8 months after Switch launched, while the Let's Go games will launch over a year after that came out. The install base will be much, much bigger.

So the Let's Go games are relatively simple placeholder games to tide people over until the real next gen of Pokémon games arrives. Makes sense.

The one single reason they will ever stop selling 3DS is if it becomes largely unprofitable. They always say they'll keep supporting old systems when new ones come out, but rarely do for long.

Seems like a fun new way to 'paly'. 😅

Only makes sense. They'd be foolish not to milk the 3DS and its install base for the fat cash cow it is. Like he said - it's aimed at kids getting into gaming for the 1st time, and people with a small budget, and for that audience 3DS is perfect. Obviously their main focus is Switch, but 3DS provides an easy extra revenue stream.

I just hope it's a locked 60fps now. Really no reason why it shouldn't, seeing as it'll be 720p, same as on Wii U, and that version targeted 60fps (although it didn't manage that very well at all).
