Re: My Nintendo Store Adds New Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Themed Rewards (North America)

TensuraFan7

I would love these rewards and at one point had 6300 Gold Coins due to a crazy double points promotion that gave me 4200+ Gold Coins matching what I had earned the entire previous year, but the fact that I'd have to pay for shipping stopped me. I'd even be willing to add like 1,000 Gold Coins to the cost to get the prizes shipped for free, but alas I will never have any of these ultra rare goodies in my gaming collection.

Edit: I wanted to add that I would pay for shipping if a debit card was accepted, but I'd need to open a bank account which would complicate my government benefits as I'm a dependent and my parents are my legal guardians and doing so could false flag me as being more self sufficient then I am.

Re: Rumour: Nintendo Is Targeting A 2024 Release For The Switch Successor

I called it! I knew that the fact that there are first party titles already known for Switch next year, with likely 2-3 more being announced during the September/October Direct that the console wasn't going to launch in the first half of 2024. That said, hopefully the Switch goes out with a bang. Maybe we can get a Xenoblade Chronicles X Switch port with bonus chapters to finish the story since Nintendo had to rush the game out on Wii U, and maybe we can get a Zelda Wind Waker HD / Twilight Princess HD bundle port as well? One can dream!

@CharlieGirl Not legally in some cases. I'm 100% on @Tasuki 's side on this one. Switch's NSO is the closest thing to playing on the original hardware both in terms of controllers if you managed to snag any of the retro controllers, but also the emulation for most of the games are spot-on as well. Even the N64 games now run better on NSO than on most emulators after the rocky start Nintendo had with the emulation. Plus emulating is a pain in the butt in most instances and depending on your state/province emulation can be illegal even if you have the games and simply dump the roms onto an emulator.

Long story short be sure to check your local laws to make sure it's legal where you live.

Re: Marvel's Midnight Suns On Switch "No Longer Planned"

@Snatcher Yeah, but difference is, Genshin wouldn't need to be gimped on Switch as it's like a less demanding version of BoTW in-terms of its scope, graphics, and mechanics. The Genshin situation is just a 🤡 show whereas this makes sense given the superior versions of the game flopped hard so why waste further resources for a version that will do even worse.
