@jmbarnes101 Platinum Games okay, but Level-5 would be awful as Nintendo has a tendency to keep titles with distinct Japanese flavour Japanese only, it could mean an end to many amazing series in the west, plus it would force the removal of PS2 Classics such as Dark Cloud 1 & 2, and Rogue Galaxy which are some of the best classic JRPG's on the Playstation Store...

@whitemaskedhero They're a small indie team, you can't expect next-gen or current-gen graphics from them considering the game is such an ambitiously long JRPG.

Uh...what the fronk? Do you pull review scores out of your hat Liam? Your scores never seem to line-up with what you write. I've seen some of your reviews that are positive, but yet the score is a 5...it just doesn't make any sense...

@Zebetite Well it's a professional review so it should be at least accurate.

@MeWario It's inspired by it, but it's technically not even in the same genre. For one you can't stop or backtrack in an endless runner as that's contrary to what an "endless runner" is.

@Ninten-san Agreed, Nintendo's first HD console was a bottomless pitt of 2D platformers. Also another issue is that Wii U is barely weaker than the XBone and it released a year earlier, had Nintendo released games such as Xenoblade Chronicles X on day one people would have been wowwed. In-fact Xenoblade Chronicles X actually looks better than most PS4 RPG's so that would have definitely improved sales. Instead Nintendo releases 90% 2D platformers and 10% all other genres which killed the system as far as I'm concerned. I am looking forward to some of the indie JRPG's releasing on Wii U this year including Soul Saga, YIIK, Earthlock: Festival of Magic, Project Light, Chromophore: Two Brothers Director's Cut, etc.

About the only thing accurate in the article is that TG-16 VC on the Wii U is now a thing.

@kobashi100 Sales were double that of Holiday 2013 during that period so yeah that's a substantial increase. It could have at least reached GCN sales numbers by its 5th year had they not sabotaged themselves...

@Grumblevolcano That and the fact that the Wii U was on the market for barely two years before the NX was announced. Remember the Wii U sales numbers were skyrocketing at the end of 2014 and Nintendo killed that momentum by announcing the NX. We'd likely be at around 20M units sold by now if it weren't for that boneheaded move...

@Ryu_Niiyama I've always been curious as to what your username means? I know Ryu is dragon in Japanese, but the rest I'm not quite sure about.

Unfortunately it appears that Kerbal Space Program might be sharing a similar fate...

@Spoony_Tech I want this game so badly! Even if I can't get it soon it'll be a game to look forward to in the future as unless the NX is backwards compatible I'll never sell my Wii U.

@rjejr Uh...dude MK8 was the third best-selling console Mario Kart of all-time not including sales on VC. It's sold over 8.8 million units which is more than Double Dash and WAY more than 64 managed to sell on their respective consoles which both sold what? Nearly double the number of consoles as the Wii U? So it did sell consoles.

Cool, I'll eventually get Super Paper Mario and I might snatch-up The Legend of Kay: Anniversary if the sale price is reasonable, but Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate comes first.

Hopefully the Epona Amiibo won't be the only way to unlock Epona...Nintendo surely wouldn't be that evil would they?! >_<

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Wait what?! I'm pretty sure your copy of Skyward Sword was defective then because it did have music, that was one of its strong suits! I agree that overall the game was meh, but the graphics and orchestrated music were breathtaking.

Isn't there something odd about Toad and Wario's shadow in the pic? Don't the Mario Kart 64 karts only cast a small circular shadow?

@Spoony_Tech This is the sequel to that game, and the first game also released on the Wii U as well. Basically this game plays more like Chrono Trigger than early Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games unfortunately the Wii U version of this game has really horrific lag and audio issues so I don't understand why it would get an 8/10 in its present state...

It's a good game, but the bugs make this more of a 6.5/10 - 7/10 imo.

Heads-up guys! Kick & Fennick is a top-notch 2.5D platformer! I highly recommend the game!

@Mayoo Uh...dude most of the best games for the 3DS are releasing later this year. And usually most of the best games for any video game system release at the tail-end of the system's life-cycle. The Wii and Wii U are an exception not the norm, besides the best Wii U indie titles are still on the horizon.

@PAppleyard Uh...the NX has a confirmed release date of March 2017 which is why it's so baffling that Nintendo essentially abandoned Wii U during the holiday season last year over 15 months before the launch of the NX...

@Luffymcduck It's still not confirmed that Zelda NX will be the same as Zelda U, though it probably will be, you can never be 100% sure with Nintendo.

@peeks Well I wouldn't pay full-retail price for this but for $10 or less I'd definitely pick this up. Also it doesn't look bad, just budget.

I'm so jelly, I wish that I could afford a retro gaming collection. Most of the games that I have for my NES and SNES are really common, but unfortunately I'm missing most of the rare ones and they're FAR too expensive for me to afford...

I do have a $200 Triforce clock made by Big-Ben though which my parents bought me! :3

@Tasuki I will be as well. Ducktales and then its spin-off Darkwing Duck were a huge part of my early childhood years.
