@protocol_penguin True, but I doubt they'll drop the hybrid aspect, and I seriously hope they won't go an all-handheld route if they do as I have bad eyesight and have to limit my time in handheld mode...😓

@Splodge At least the Wii U eShop runs like 10x faster than the Switch eShop. Nintendo needs to streamline the Switch eShop because it is an absolutely awful experience tbh.

@Joeynator3000 You realize if they did that you'd need internet to even access any of your games. What if you exceeded your data cap or your ISP has an outage? Guess you won't be playing your games for hours to weeks then depending on the circumstances...

@Dezzy70 I honestly can't see Nintendo making no exclusive Zelda games for two generations in a row. With the Wii U it made sense since the hardware failed horribly, at least in a commercial sense, but Switch is what? The second best-selling Nintendo console ever and is extremely close to becoming their most successful console ever released, so not releasing at least one exclusive Zelda game makes absolutely no sense. And no, the Hyrule Warriors sequel doesn't count as it's a Musou game NOT an actual Zelda series game.

@Themagusx1 I'd chastise you, but there'd be no point as kids these days don't understand the importance of ownership of property. They also don't understand that just because you beat a game once doesn't mean that you should get rid of the game. It's always nice to go back to a game you enjoyed every once in a while without losing access to it...

@Heavyarms55 I highly doubt that most Wii U's are modded. Unlike the Wii, the Wii U is actually quite difficult to soft mod. Wii Mode can be modded easily, however you'd be better off modding the ultra cheap and easy to find Wii than risking bricking the super rare and super expensive Wii U.

@MetalMan Try playing retro games on OG consoles on a modern TV and tell me the modern TV is "better". It may be limited in its uses, but CRT's are still better for PSOne/N64 era games and earlier and are as good as modern TV's for Gamecube/PS2 and original Wii games. The compressed "squashed" pixels to keep the letterbox screen format on 720p or higher resolution TV's and the sharper image quality actually makes old games look terrible.

I hope not, I'm in the camp of people who get headaches from OLED screens. LCD works well enough and no minuscule improvement in screen quality is worth the migraines it'll cause...

Okay what the actual heck is this?! This not only is the most ridiculous article I've ever seen, but also talks about a religious story to the readers. Christianity isn't the only religion and there are people who also aren't religious so this article is very questionable. To top it off religious discussion is barred in your own ToS so can someone please explain why the editor got a free pass for a ToS violation? 🤔

@Doofenshmirtz They have a Wii U dev kit, but not a Switch one. Also their games are decent and feel like genuine NES games. That said they aren't anything remarkable either, but are well worth their price.

@grovertheblue What @Jakiboy isn't considering is the fact that football a.k.a. soccer is pretty much the most popular sport globally, so it IS a pretty safe series to release a new game of lol.
