Re: Radiant Silvergun Has Vanished From North American eShop

TensuraFan7

@AlanaHagues @Hemibear I've noticed tons of new eShop games get yoinked off the eShop within hours of release. Last month Celestian Tales released with all of its expansions in North America and then swiftly vanished without a trace. The few YouTubers who reviewed it gave it shining praise so oof for those of you who wanted it, but didn't get it myself included...

Re: Talking Point: What Did You Think Of The September 2022 Nintendo Direct?

TensuraFan7

I honestly thought it was one of the best directs in years. Good surprises, Several new JRPG's, a few new first party announcements, several amazing farm sims, tons of great multiplayer N64 games coming to NSO, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass sneak peak, which tbh looks like the new wave is going to be MUCH closer visually to the base-game retro tracks! Theatrhythm sequel!!! Pog!!! Bayonetta 3!!!!! Crisis Core Remake, a Newly localized Fatal Frame game, and the new game from the Danganronpa team!!!! Even a low-key release of a new Hot Shots Golf on Switch, which I'm guessing was going to be a part of the direct, but had to be trimmed out due to the direct already being almost 42 minutes in length.

Edit: Oh and Atelier Ryza 3! How could I forget?! xD

Things I hated were the Cloud Versions of the Resident Evil games, Villages makes sense, but there's NO WAY Capcom couldn't get native versions of the Remakes to run on Switch, they are just being greedy and lazy...and Tales of Symphonia Remastered which is an absolute scam job. Just the original Tales of Symphonia game for $50 or $60 whereas the PS3 and Steam versions had a remaster of the sequel Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of The New World bundled in and the two game bundle cost $50...

Overall though it was an amazing Nintendo Direct!

Re: 'Wild Arms' Creator Is Hoping To Launch New Game On Switch's Successor

TensuraFan7

@Rika_Yoshitake Uh...you realize this is pre-alpha gameplay right? The game won't be ready till 2025 at earliest so this game will almost certainly be too much for the Switch to handle, and even if it could, it's pretty safe to say that the Switch's successor will launch before the end of 2025. I'm in the likely 2024 release club lol. @Serpenterror The Wild Arms dev team GameARTS went out of business while developing Wild Arms 6 on PS3.

@aznable To be fair stretching the screen makes SD retro 2-D games and 16-bit or earlier games look like doodoo, so I understand why they do it, however I do agree that full-screen should at least be an option for those who'd prefer full-screen over unstretched and sharp graphics. 😉

I know I'd prefer full-screen mode if my console weren't hooked to a large 50"+ TV. Before that I had a 32" and before that a 19" widescreen TV so anything less than full-screen on a smaller TV like that was far less than ideal for sure.

Alex was hilarious in this vid! Excellent video! I am very much hyped that Mushroom Gorge is returning, also looking forward to the city tracks, Sky High Sundae, and Snow Land. Waluigi's Pinball looks good too. Mario Circuit 3 and Kalimari Desert are my two least favorite wave 2 courses, but the music in Mario Circuit 3 orchestrated is pure ear candy! 🍫🍬🍭

Re: It's Official, Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris Is Getting A Switch Port

TensuraFan7

@Rayquaza2510 I mean to be fair Hollow Realization was still way better looking on Switch than it was on Vita plus the Switch version actually runs no worse than the PS4 version as far as the frame-rate is concerned. And poor old Fatal Bullet couldn't even run on Vita and was scrapped on the console while it has a minor visual downgrade on Switch, but still runs decent with only an occasional slight dip in FPS. I'm sure Alicization Lycoris will look good enough on Switch, but am a bit concerned it might run a bit more like the Vita ports of the older SAO games, because it has a lot more resources that require computing power than the previous games on Switch.

Also why did you at yourself? 😂

Re: Feature: 13 Best Seniors In Games

TensuraFan7

@Yosher Celeste is great, but I just couldn't beat it. The difficulty made the game feel like some sort of punishment for a misdeed lol. I am NOT casual by any means and have beaten super hard NES games such as Contra, but even Contra didn't make me die inside from seething rage like Celeste did. 😂

@Olliemar28 I mean Geralt is certainly old by normal reckoning and has grey hair, but that's not really due to age and physically he's about late-40's so not exactly elderly by Witcher standards.
