Oh sweet, I loved the first Rogue Legacy. The graphical update looks good. It resembles the Wonder Boy: Dragon's Trap remake a lot.

Borderlands 2 is a hearty recommendation for anyone who enjoys solid dark humor and frantic gun gameplay. Even better if you can play with mates.

He could still catch Pokemon while staying at home. It's called Pokemon Sword/Shield/Sun/Moon/Diamond/Pearl/Red/Blue/literally any other Pokemon game.

Need to complete Octopath someday. I've only completed 4 stories, but I have to level grind my other 4 heroes. >_>

I appreciate the effort this team probably went through to pull this project off the ground, but... it doesn't look pretty. Why are all the colours horribly muted? The animation lacks the oomph as well from what we see in the trailer. I'm not too keen from what I see.

I could do that... or I could pay for a much cheaper hotel room and just bring my own Switch with me.

Capcom games are always on sale, they might as well be permanent.

They'd probably have enough money to make a whole new sequel if the money keeps rolling in.

Anyone else pre-ordered the Season 2 Pass for SSBU yet? Just curious. I want to see who the 1st fighter will be, but I'll probably buy it eventually.

Calyrex looks pretty majestic... except for those dangling noodle legs. I'm guessing it's based on a rabbit, but those legs look silly from that angle.

Also... it's ability is Unnerve? That's it? Thought it would get a more appropriate or useful ability like Queenly Majesty.

His eyes look a little small, otherwise he looks pretty spot-on. The texture work is eye-candy. Can't wait to see the rest of the crew.

@Orangezap89 Don't lump us all in together. We have a lot of casual players who buy a game console to play only one game every year; Fifa or CoD. That's why our chart looks like that.

Strange decision for Sword & Shield to be nominated Best Music. Half the soundtrack is a hot mess. It was a major stepdown from Sun & Moon's amazing soundtrack.

Feels like a couple of entries should be disqualified or removed. Shovel Knight takes up two slots with the original and Treasure Trove, which makes zero sense. The Phoenix Wright games are great games but I don't know if they're qualified for this decade since they're 90% straight up ports from last decade.

I would've picked the final island levels from DKC: Tropical Freeze over DKC. More variety in level structures, gimmicks and fun throwbacks to DKCR while adding an icy motif twist for each theme.

Ash and Go look a little... dumpy.

@Matroska Yeh, the Battle Themes seem to feel like the the weakest songs this time. Two exceptions being the Gym Leader Battle and Marnie Battle themes. They're pretty hype.

The Town and Route themes make up the majority of good tracks, such as Stow-on-Side and Wild Area (South). They really match the feelings of the areas they represent.

Cadence of Hyrule discount is tempting, but I've bought too many games on sale that haven't been touched. Need to start clearing through them first. >_>

This might quell my hunger for official remastered DPP music. DPP has my favorite Pokemon soundtrack, so waiting for the eventual remake is difficult.

Wish I was close enough to my nearest Game shop to take apart. Never took part in these midnight launches because of the distance. :/

@abbyhitter The first 5 mins. went over the history of Neo-Geo and the Fatal Fury franchise. 15 mins. spent explaining Terry's moveset. Another 15 mins. spent playing Terry in Classic Mode. The rest of the time was miscellaneous bits like the Song List selection, new Mii Fighters costumes and other trivia.

@Chunkboi79 The only reason I can think of is if the original composers for said games have to give permission, or if they have to pay ridiculous license fees to said composers to use their music. Don't know if this is the case.

It's funny how representatives like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest suffered lack of content out of stinginess, yet SNK is just like "take as much as you want."

This seems to happen a lot. People must love getting excited over the tiniest trivial details.

Don't really care for this game, but I've only just noticed the developer behind this are the guys behind the Oddworld HD remasters, plus the Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty remake and the upcoming Abe Exoddus remake. Are they desperate for funding or something?

@Xelha I'd rather have a more compact open world system for Pokemon. I wouldn't want a stretched out region where travelling between places feels like a slog.

@Octane Probably too much to ask from Game Freak, but that would be great to witness. Could range from cute moments to small Pokemon nuzzling each other, or something like giant Pokemon acting territorial and fighting each other. I can imagine an Onix fighting a Tyranitar on a mountain range.

I would've said Indivisible if it was on the Switch at launch. Playing the PS4 version, but it's so much fun I may purchase the Switch version in future.

@link3710 We commented earlier when we only had the Japanese magazine scan this morning. The official Pokemon site didn't update til just recently.

@marandahir It's hard to tell from the current scan size, as both Fairy and Psychic types use a distinct pink.

From the looks of the upper right corner of the scan, Galarian Ponyta is either Fairy type or Psychic type. (My money is on Fairy.)

Had a feeling this was the way it was gonna turn out. Glad I didn't take part. They really should've condensed this into an hour. Maybe 2 or 3 hours tops, but not a whole day.

Saying that though, that pair of Galarian Ponytas were adorable. I wonder what'll make them different from regular Ponyta.
