Re: Mario Kart 7 Is Still Selling Like Hotcakes

That's surprising to see, considering MK8 Deluxe is a portable MK powerhouse that overshadows it in every way.

I didn't really like MK7. In terms of new tracks and the character roster, they were mostly rubbish. At least the game introduced the Propeller/Glider mechanic.

@nessisonett Haven't played Smash in a while, but I remember experiencing issues with projectile characters whose playstyle was spamming projectiles to control space. It was an issue 'cos the amount of projectiles they'd throw at me was a pain as they'd break down my shield fast in only a couple seconds.

Moving around the projectiles was a choice, but against characters like Mii Gunner or Snake, it was impossible because pro players would be covering the entire space with projectiles... those matches were very frustrating to fight.

I'm glad I decided to give Persona a try when I bought and played through Persona 3 a couple years ago, and blasted through Persona 5 after. I'm more in love with this Fighter Pack then I ever would've.

Now if only I could force myself to play Persona 4... I already spoiled myself on the story so I don't know if it's worth another 100 hours.

Re: Sega Reveals Spooky New Haunted Castle Track For Team Sonic Racing

It looks like from this video, we now know all 7 zones that these 21 tracks will be based on:

Planet Wisp (Colours)
Rooftop Run/Spagonia (Unleashed)
Ice Mountain (Advance)
Sandopolis (Sonic 3 & Knuckles)
Seaside Hill (Heroes)
Bingo Highway (Heroes)

Not sure what this Haunted Castle track is from though, if it's the final unknown zone... Hang Castle?

@Rayquaza2510 I was afraid of that, heheh.

Speaking of turning rules upside down, did anyone play Reshef of Destruction on the GBA? That's probably one of the worst games I've experienced.

They radically changed the effects of all the cards, especially removing effects from Monster Cards and made them normal monsters, like Man-Eater Bug. Not only did it confuse everything I knew about Yu-gi-oh!, you had no choice but to grind throughout the entire game to have even a chance of progressing. I never beat the final part because it was the most broken, unfair, unpredictable mess of a gauntlet.

@Kal_el_0724 I think both the DS and Let's Go games are still using the same character models. It looks more like they're using different rendering styles/shaders; the Switch/DS games have cel-shaded textures, while the Let's Go textures/colours have softer blending and lack the lineart rendering that the Switch games bring back.

I prefer the cel-shaded lineart rendering the Switch games are using again. It stands out to me more.

The Linear-looking path in the Region designs scares me. It looks even more linear and straightforward than B/W's Unova region and Sun/Moon's story path. I hope it has enough interesting locales or optional areas, 'cos the in-game screenshots look gorgeous. Alot more promising than what Let's Go had to show.

Also, Water starter wins again for me. Scorbunny does look fun, but Sobble is too adorable.
