I've been to a cinema screening as well and I agree with the review. What bothers me most is that it is yet another storyline. After all, the movie contradicts the series. They should have just followed the nostalgia path like they started the movie.That was pretty nice. Everything else felt slapped on. I missed Misty and Brock a lot.

To be honest, I prefer the original dock way more over this one. The original has its cables neat and hidden and allows you to take it out with ease. I don't have any scratches or issues with the dock. Luckily it's easy and relatively cheap to improve (I would prefer a little bit softer sides in the dock). Remember those Wii Remote straps way back that got revised? It's exactly like that if you ask me.

The Switch is awesome. I don't know how one could think otherwise. The concept is awesome, the announced games are awesome and more is to come.

I don't get the problem. My Nintendo has several interesting discount rewards from time to time.
I don't really care for Miitomo anymore either, but My Nintendo is a platform that allows for more in the future.

I actually played this long time ago. I remember liking it for what it's worth...

I discovered several games from the first generation in this period as well. For instance Pokémon Snap. The Pinball game on the Game Boy Colour was awesome as well with the little rumble cartridge.

I played it on the Mac with multitouch. It was a lot of fun. Although I doubt that the Wii U would be capable of rendering all of the details of Octodad in full resolution at 60fps. You really need that smooth framerate for this game with all those flopping tentacles imho.

Loyalty program (formerly known as Club Nintendo) related possibly? Although that would most likely not considered to be a game.

Well I got it this week, got to play it yesterday. I do enjoy playing it, although it does look like an upscaled GameCube game, including the chunky camera control and you need glasses for the incredibly small (subtitle) font. However, everything is super smooth which is really nice for an action platformer. It is quite fun to play. Basically, I agree with the review.

But my eye did spot a Mewtwo amiibo I did not see before though.
