Europe's My Nintendo store is currently offering another lovely physical gift, with these Pikmin 3 Deluxe coasters now being available to those who have an account.
Featuring four different designs in total, the coaster set can be claimed for just 400 Platinum Points on the My Nintendo website. As is always the case with My Nintendo, you'll have to pay for the shipping on top of that, which can be pretty pricey depending on your location.
You can grab the set here. Shipping prices can be found below.
To Germany - 3.99 EUR / 3.55 GBP / 4.45 CHF
To other countries* - 6.99 EUR / 6.25 GBP / 7.80 CHF
* Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovenia, Slovakia, UK
Considering Platinum Points can be gathered up without paying a single penny, this doesn't seem like a bad deal all things considered.
Let us know if you manage to snag one with a comment below, and feel free to read through our Pikmin 3 Deluxe review if you're still on the fence about buying the game.

No thank you Nintendo, but Knack already makes for a good coaster.
Just ordered mine
They still have multiple other physical rewards available for redemption using just silver points.

So hopefully, you can redeem multiple things together and still get them together under the same shipping charge.
Sadly, I don't think you can combine them, it's £6.25 a pop and it's one "free" thing per order.
@DoctorShrunk
That's a bummer if true.
These freebies are probably supposed to be incentives to buy something else on their store, or even sign up to Nintendo Switch Online so you can even make such a purchase.
@DoctorShrunk Hence the reason why I never order any of these things.
Sadly they’re made out of extremely thin paper-like material. I love the designs, but think the ink may run if I actually use them as coasters
@ComposedbyNone seems pretty standard for a coaster to me:

They're ok. Pretty low effort just sticking a bunch of existing key art on a standard shaped coaster. Could have been a lot more interesting with a bit more effort.
Thought I had succesfully managed to add several items, got to the checkout "Enter your My Nintendo Store voucher code here.
You can only redeem one code per order". Bummer. Delivery was £8.90 too. Ouch. No thanks.
All we have ever had on the Australian My Nintendo store is a bunch of 3DS and Wii U discounts (no physical rewards).. I don't even have either of those systems. I love when they send a Nintendo survey for a game that I am playing on the Switch, meaning the "rewarded" points are worthless. I miss the Club Nintendo days, there may not have always been good something on the Club Nintendo store but the points were not always worthless either.
@RazumikhinPG that isn’t what they look like. Gimmie a sec and I’ll find them
I miss this kind of stuff when they had it in the US...especially when it was club nintendo. It was actually fun to earn the points and redeem for some small items, granted most were dumb, some were pretty good...I still have the Mario Playing Cards. Somehow, I also remember getting a big package in the mail that had a Wii Remote Plus a statue and a $50 pizza hut gift card...I believe it was because I bought and downloaded so much stuff from the Wii Shop. Other than all of that, it was nice having the physical merchandise to redeem the points on.
@RazumikhinPG
I ordered from USA, so maybe they’re different, but these are the coasters I received.

It really bothers me that the postage for these things is £6.99
That’s an obscene postage cost that puts me off them all
@ComposedbyNone wtf, if that's the case the photo is really deceptive. That link I posted is from the actual Nintendo shop, so if the product doesn't match they'll get a complaint from me.
@Archius9 £6.99 is probably what they would cost if you bought them at any retail shop, like Forbidden Planet or whatnot.
Example: https://forbiddenplanet.com/279260-dragon-ball-coasters-symbols-set-of-4/
So what's happening here is that you're actually getting free shipping, not a free item.
@RazumikhinPG exactly. And that’s why I don’t get them from Nintendo
@RazumikhinPG I also ordered the coasters from the US MyNintendo site and can also confirm they are useless as coasters. My wife loves Pikmin though, so she wouldn't put cups on them anyways.
The coasters on the European MyNintendo site, however, look more legitimate with an actual description of the product you will receive. The US site does not have a description, probably because they are so pathetic.
@Cherkov rip US
Thanks. I’m on it.
Just pay shipping.
Had to make my account from US to make the extra points
All the mynintendo physical rewards from Europe
Oh man those are so adorable. I kind of collect coasters, but not really.
Anyway if Nintendo is going to let MyNintnedo Rewards start offering physical objects again - I've already received the thin Dodo plastic bag and small red rubber pouch - I hope they start making ways for Switch owners to start earning platinum points b/c so far it looks like they are almost all mobile based, I get like 10 a week for email or something as I'm not that into their mobile game selection.
Nintendo can shove it up their rear end!
I had a ton of platinum coins since the launch of the Switch, with nothing on MyNintendo for years to redeem them, so they all expired.
It's a joke of a system, but that's just typical Nintendo with their heavily outdated practices.
Are you guys saying you can’t combine items in the UK? Because you can in the US. I ordered 6 items, including the coasters, and paid $5 shipping for the whole order. The coasters came in a small plastic bag and not the little box shown above.
@MrGrim no you can’t combine shipping as it only allows using one code per transaction
It's really quite amazing the ways Nintendo fans find to criticize Nintendo.
Anybody wondering what the quality of these are like, they're "medium density fibre wood with a cork back" apparently, so at least we know they won't be paper thin 😄👍
@fox_mattcloud Look at my comment towards the top
I've ordered a set with £6 postage, and if the quality isn't great I will get more than what I paid for them on Ebay.
I would love to have some of the physical rewards from nintendo but at £13.50 for postage to Ireland is just ridiculous.
@SilentHunter382 it’s 6.99 euro in Ireland
@WahooTime Ah I see it now. I think I remember looking at the nes controllers and remember seeing what the price was and assumed that it would be the same price for these. Thanks. At €7 it is more tempting.
You can't combine s&h costs with My Nintendo Europe? That stinks. You can in the States.
@HotGoomba___Rebrand ah, I see you're a man of culture as well.
Just got mine in the mail today. Took some pics in case anyone wants to see what they look like. Pretty good I must say! Heavy and thick, they seem quite resistant. Better than the Death Stranding one I use most of the time.
