Re: Talking Point: The New Nintendo 3DS is Yet to Have a Real Chance to Revive the Portable Family

Rumorlife

Yet another DSi. I KNEW IT. I told everyone so. "No not this time, they got it this time, the 3DS is a success so this will work too!" okay because the DS wasn't more successful than this and the DSi was still pointless. The only reason it sells is because the old one is mostly sold off now. I'm more than happy to say this is a better system upgrade from 3DS to N3DS than DS/Lite to DSi would have been.

Re: Review: Super Mario 64 DS (Wii U eShop / DS)

Rumorlife

Tl;dr review 7/10 you're a hermit loser if you've not played this bad port. If you spared yourself these bad controls on the original DS, you should play it now on the WiiU so you can stop being a moron and have played this already even if the N64 version you played and loved is so much better.

Re: Nintendo Download: 4th February (Europe)

Rumorlife

@PiplupJ Probably not because the Galaxy data is saved on the WiiU section of saved data, while Mario Kart Wii is saved on the Wii memory card or section. If Mario Kart Wii comes to WiiU download then it's more probable.

Re: Jigglypuff amiibo is No Longer a Target Exclusive in North America

Rumorlife

I worked at Target and our Amiibo wall was abysmal the entire time I worked there, it still is. But now I'm at Best Buy and our area is a bit messy but there's a lot of what were once "rare" amiibo. Every store got a different restock though, because Fry's had a lot of other goodies I can't find elsewhere too.

Re: Mario Kart 64 on Wii U VC Doesn't Have Support for Ghost Data

Rumorlife

Now it's just laziness. Maybe with the Wii version it wasn't going to quite work or some other excuse but now we're getting GBA eReader levels, expansion pack games and other bonus contents unlocked for us. Controller pack data shouldn't be locked unless there's some other reason for it now. Copyright issue? Names we can't have out there anymore? Game breaking glitches? Really awkward. Although the ghost data doesn't bother me being missing, it isn't pretty looking anymore.

Re: Nintendo Removes Infamous Drugging Scene From Western Localisation Of Fire Emblem Fates

Rumorlife

The whole thing is awkward as hell. They put in a weird drugging scene that really didn't need to happen anyway. It never felt like conversion therapy to me but some other weird way of showing they know gay people exist, but didn't really want to do it anyway so they made it where "oh don't feel bad she's gay, they fixed her without religion!" to make straight people playing this a little more comfortable if they weren't already. I'm usually against censorship but if it makes it less weird then I can get over it. Their apology thing is a bit strange too, it almost says "we acknowledge the homophobia and drugging, we took it out for you but left it for ourselves"

Re: Bigley's Revenge Has Been Removed From the eShop

Rumorlife

Cool you make money but now everyone knows you're the idiot putting out low selling junk trying to troll the eShop for some reason, so hopefully he doesn't try to make a real game in the future because it'll be looked at as a joke and easily dismissed even if it's good.

Re: Poll: Are You Optimistic About Nintendo's 2016?

Rumorlife

Good to see most others are optimistic, I am however not. E3 was a snore for me and we've still not gotten all the games people have complained about, so there will be more whining ahead for sure. Not a lot is coming on the horizon anyway past a handful of things. Although if you don't buy a lot you'll be fine. No doubt there will be great games on their way though. There always is, I just am not envisioning some huge blast that I can't personally keep up with.
