A reveal is one thing, but a release really might be too much. They say the WiiU & 3DS aren't going away. They'll release this thing, people will wonder why there's now 3 systems, maybe even 4 or 5 since people are dumb enough to think the DS & Wii are still being supported full blown just because they see the games in the stores still. An NX release would probably seriously damage the WiiU sales, hurt 3DS, and I bet the NX wouldn't even take off as fast as most of you think even if they give it some hefty running power. People who are out of the loop will have so little idea as to why this is all happening, and there are more than plenty who are out of the loop.

I just have a red XL, it's great. I'll probably upgrade to a N3DS sometime after I finish XCX for XB3D, unless they come out with more enticing titles that only work with N3DS, or a special design N3DS I want. If that Pokemon one was XL it would have been sold out immediately.

I'm actually having a hard time finding this game on the shelves right now. I don't want it yet, but my store only had 1 copy on the shelf as of last night. Naturally we have like 100 in the back but that shows it's being sold off at least. Nice.

If it were XL I'd have preordered it ages ago.

I haven't been looking a lot lately, but I just started seeing the Bowser & DK skylander/amiibos sets. I almost never sell the Guitar Hero WiiU version in my Best Buy, and I notice that both Activision games mentioned, sell slowly across the board anyway. As for the Lego stuff, it probably sells well because, much like Amiibo, you can buy the figure sets and not have the game, and it doesn't really matter. Plenty buy the Back to the Future or Simpsons stuff and tell me they don't have the game and don't care.

I wonder how far they're on in making this game. Someone said this could be the WiiU's swan song, I literally have been thinking this on and off for a few months now. Although I have a feeling Nintendo will want to be the one to make the swan song game. But this could easily be the third party swan song game.

@orravan85 Well maybe if you share a common want with many others it does. I can say it worked only once for me, I asked everytime for DK64 in the club nintendo surveys, now we have it on WiiU. But maybe our wishes were going to happen anyway? It seems like a grey zone, you can't really tell what they're doing with it because they never reveal what their intentions are. Everything they asked about though isn't anything I'm worried about. If they were asking me about which games they should make or what they should do besides how they're going to use social media or advertise toward me I'd care more. That's just me though

This is way too much to ask all in a launch. But thank god this article didn't try to bash the Gamepad for something that it isn't. Also selling the NX in 2 pieces (handheld and console) just seems really awkward, not sure how that would work. I mean we already sell it in 2 parts, but they don't work with one another. But people already STILL can't understand that the WiiU is backwards compatible with the Wii and same with 3DS to DS. I work in Best Buy and I constantly am explaining that to people. Even sometimes I get people trying to buy WiiU games to play on their Wii and I have to explain why it won't work. Selling it in two pieces will just further people's stupid confusion. Cool idea of course, but for the average consumer this seems complicated. I can just hear it now "WHY CAN'T THEY PUT IT ALL IN ONE BOX!?" The PS3 and 4 had similar confusion with the Vita, and that crashed and burned, so we never saw how it played out. Maybe Nintendo will and can push it to make it work and we'll see how it plays out. If Nintendo can make it where you buy 1 game and it has the ability to play both on TV and mobile, then they're already doing better than the PS brand tried.

Doesn't the NA/Westerner version(s) come with the Dark MewTwo amiibo card? If that's still a thing I doubt the amiibo do anything special like Smash, it'd be weird imo to have it be anything super important if they're giving you "an amiibo" to start with. Hyrule Warriors route it is.

That'd be nice. I kind of expect this game to be ported eventually, if not to WiiU, to the other 2 big consoles. This would also be cool on 3DS I bet.

@greengecko007 Lol except Smash is like one of the most taxing first party games, especially when you go online.

The game is more crisp than I realized before, but it's still not an exciting graphical update from the Wii imo. I do like the lack of that distance fog, in place is an actual distance.

One day FreezeME wasn't even ready, next it's a surprise heading to the eShop, and then literally like 2-3 days later it's there LOL That was fast and strange.

The clue is to them having put Beginnings and and Earthbound on WiiU, and there's GBA on there as well, so it seemed likely once they did that and released M3 in Japan again.
