It's hilarious how normally I'd be like "boring" cause it's been so long since I did the main part of the game, but I've been wanting to play this again. But the season pass stuff is confusing I'll have to study this.

@Socar Get ready for it, CoD is actually ahead of GTA at 250mil give or take, so it's only 30 million units off Pokemon, so basically the next big couple of CoD games will probably make it go past. Even then, GTA right behind CoD in sales and it's only another 15 mil behind. The numbers are on a couple articles by googling top selling video game series of all time. Lol even wikipedia. GTA is probably unstoppable right now, but CoD feels old and like it could be succeeded someday by a new series?

So is this another one where you get hit with a penalty because of internet loss as well? Something kicked me out once for 8 hours because of a wifi drop. I don't know if it was a Nintendo game or not anyway anymore...

I hate when this trash appears. All it does is make a bunch of morons come forward and post what they "know" and tout their "facts" about the NX, and then follows a bunch of random "it's confirmed" comments aimed at anything you can come up with.

@MarinoKadame I guess he hates any arcade fighters. I can just think of all the overwhelming stick controls there are out there. Rotate 65 degrees, rotate 55 degrees.... 40....

@SetupDisk There's not a shot in hell they'll do any acknowledgement of stuff you bought in between the 2 programs. If they did they'd have to dump out massive rewards on day 1 to make up for the time you and others waited and they'd hate that.

At any rate they better stop putting the same crap up as before over and over. There's enough WiiU & 3DS VC at this point to warrant other releases. Even the big titles with physical releases need to be cycled through faster or differently. They'll probably just do WiiU versions of the same exact Wii stuff they had before most of the time anyway.

These game always made me think of the Saw movie series, even though it's not torturous in the same sense. If anyone's planning on getting this and is new I really recommend playing 999 & VLR first, you'll learn so much about what's going on. It'll probably be very valuable information with this game and have a bigger impact if you're aware of what's going on in old games.

Also half the stuff they're selling at a discount now is the same crap they've been pushing for 3-4 years omg. Other M is the only new listing and we all know how people feel about that game.

Lol You'll redo the reviews for games for the N3DS but not between 3DS & WiiU. Weird.
But anyway, I'm reinterested in City Connection again, but I still think I'll get it on my 3DS instead eventually.

Lol people get their stuff removed in an hour but one of my levels, which only gets maybe 1-5 plays a day, has been up since launch week. I also have a crap level that gets a hit like once a week and it's like 4 months old. I don't get it. I had another level that did barely worse than that and it's been gone for months.

@iamDTS Depends which kind of Wario game, the last one was Game & Wario for WiiU from 2013 which is a Microgames sorta one, but the last platformer was Shake It! for Wii in 2008.

@JLPick Yep you're one of the few. Also Startropics and Starfy are so random and don't make sense why you're bringing those two up, they didn't exactly give up on Starfy, they've not had another game in the series since the worldwide release of the last game, and that was on the DS and since then we've had a hardware change to the 3DS, and there are plenty of games that don't get a new iteration every hardware update. StarTropics was released everywhere originally and still is released everywhere between the Wii & WiiU virtual console. Zoda's Revenge wasn't always hit with the best reviews anyway. It's not as if those games are inaccessible. The 4 Japanese Starfy games are very similar and if you look at basically any games series in Japan, they often release multiple similar games in consecutive years where they only ever give the west one version.

No, Chibi Robo didn't struggle, it fell down and hit it's face right out of the gate. Nobody bought it and those who did hated it and sold it off right away.

Yeah I agree, it's too early, but the forum on this website has already pushed it off and agrees it should be trashed, and everyone has prematurely moved on from this already based on the fact that we've seen 10 seconds of gameplay and everyone automatically just said "ITS STICKER STAR 2" and that killed most of the hype before anyone even found out what's going on.

Surprised at Mario RPG made the list. 1 game beat out all the other series. But I'm not sure what I expected.

How is Minecraft still on here? Please spare me the "it's a great game", I'm just surprised that after this huge start for FE:f that it was still beaten out, by a 360 game that's ancient now. The charts are a bore anyway, GTA V for the 200th week, CoD for the 12th year in a row, another lego/far cry/etc similar thing agaaaain.

Tbh there never was much that needed any "western censorship attention", I never found that this game was somehow so raunchy they had to delete pieces. Besides this is more popular in the west by far, they've voiced it's niche release for Japan a couple of times and how it didn't sell well there.

Paper, Kart and Party even if we know the 1st and 3rd have had rough entires, I'm rather still happy with it all as a whole. 4th place would be Tennis, I think even the WiiU version that I've not played looks decent enough that I could delve into it someday.

Anyone who's not played the first two, it might be really difficult to get into this, I bet they'll talk a lot about the previous games once you're deeper into it. I played it in order, 999 to VLR and in VLR they talked a lot about 999. Also 999 was a bit rough to find in the stores, I think they need to make it at least downloadable for the 3DS in DSiWare form or something so people can get at it.

There should be something at the start of these articles blatantly explaining that the game has NOT come to the Virtual Console. Everytime you guys on this website do a random review of an old game, the comments always have a bunch of "WHICH VC DID THIS APPEAR ON?!?!" with no mention of it one way or another in the article most of the time, getting some in an uproar for no reason.

I borrowed this from my bf once, gave it back like an hour later. I couldn't get into it at all.

I always knew it existed, but after literally an hour or two of looking at it, you've seen it all. How many times do you need to watch replays of the same type of crashes, people flying over the edge, or people just gliding past another player? The only thing that surprises me is how soon this is going away but if it's not being used then oh. MK8 is dying so fast, it's almost impossible to play with people who have 16k points like me online too, everyone's cheating or something by then and you just start to lose.

I still have this, and I always thought nobody cared about it because it was always there at Blockbuster for rental.

What happened to that gigantic crowd that was always begging for these games to come to the VC, now we have them and everyones complaining. It feels like the fans are getting worse each year.

The game looks really awesome and high quality but the community never seems to think as highly of this game as any reviewers do. I wonder why?

They'll probably release FR/LG again someday with a few added bonuses like RBY and it'll be more expensive than this or the other GBA VC games and all the children will come forth and once again say they don't want it because it's too expensive.
