Re: Mailbox: Missing Zelda Ports, Nerd Rage, 16-Bit Blowback - Nintendo Life Letters

Nintendo gave us wind waker on wii u because the wii u was a complete and total failure. So they gave us ww. They had no choice to give us what we wanted.

Nintendo knows what we want. And instead of giving to us, they use it as a weapon.

No one gives a f about skyward sword. That game sucks and nintendo knows it. No one wanted it, and nintendo knows it.

They gave us SS because they could get away with it. The switch is massively successful so they can release games that no one wants.

If the switch was failing, we would definitely have wind waker.

THANK GOD FOR EMULATION HOLY MOLY

Last time i tried to play this, i made to mexico before i gave up due to boredom.

Everyone's talking about the technical stuff, meanwhile, i'm over here like "this game boring as hell, the controls are terrible, the characters never shut up, endless forced slow walk/talk sections, the controls are terrible, etc"

yeah, i tried to like the toaplan games. i tried. i bought fire shark and tiger heli.

nope. i don't like toaplan games. they suck. i hate the checkpoints. i hate the hitboxes. i hate the checkpoints. i hate the powering down. i hate the checkpoints. i hate the checkpoints.

i hate the checkpoints. i do not understand why any shmup devs ever thought checkpoints were a good idea. they completely destroy the flow of a game.

Re: Pokémon World Championships Disqualifies Scarlet And Violet Pros Using Hacked Monsters

i don't know anything about pokemon so all of this is very confusing to me

why are competitive players not using equal level characters? all of them should be on the same playing field in any given event. shouldn't this be about player skill and not about who grinded the most levels? a competitive event should not have people using different leveled characters in any game, they should be on a level playing field.

just let them use max level characters for competitive events. just have a roster of balanced characters that competitors can choose from. i can't think of any reason not to do this.

the player's performance in an event should determine their success. not how leveled up their toon is? how much they grinded before the event? that's a really bizarre way to structure a competitive event

why are they even using "their own" pokemon? just assign them standardized, balanced pokemon for competitive events.
