Wow, the Zelda Oracle games are lower than their initial discount. I own the carts but I think I may pick those up. Can anyone comment on if those games link through a 'virtual link cable' to each other? Seems like I had read something about that a while back. Otherwise you have to do the password system...

@edgedino We use the mexican peso, wich is worth much less than a dollar. The conversion is usually like 1 dollar = 13 pesos. I fixed it already to avoid more misunderstandings

Wow, NoA. Way to offer games most 3DS owners already have. I feel especially bad for Sonic. Even if the deal only had other Game Gear games on offer, that would be more than one Sonic game. I'm mostly upset that I skipped out on Yoshi's New Island hoping to get Sonic Lost World.

@KingofSaiyans Yup, it's a fantastic game and has tons of replay value. The only downside is that it's not very comfortable to play for left-handed people.

Buying the Oracle game I'm missing. Also, is X2 worth it if I haven't played X and still have a huge backlog or is it basically more of the same?

@KingofSaiyans If I recall the circle pad pro attachment works on kid Icarus uprising to add a left handed person control scheme so left handed people can actually play it but all it does is make the controls switch sides.

Minish Cap, the Oracle games, Mega Man 1 & 2, and F-ZERO. Nice haul, and it corresponded well with the eShop card sale Target has going on now.

Was expecting Link's Awakening instead of the Oracle games...too bad.

@eze84 : That's a GREAT price for Fire Emblem. Kid Icarus: Uprising is all right, and one of the only fast-paced action games on the 3DS. The online multiplayer is strong, but I found the campaign to be a bit short and underwhelming.

I just picked up KI: Uprising like, two weeks ago. Could have saved 10 beans on this deal. Totally worth full price, so I'm not really complaining.

I already own it on my 3DS as part of the Ambassador Program and I don't think it's fair that you would need to buy it again, just to get it on the Wii U.

It's 2014, almost 2015.. They really need to start offering cross-buy. Both the 3DS and Wii U share the same NNID, so there's really no excuse for this.

I might get Mega Man X, done have X2. I might also get the legend of zelda Minish cap. But Nintendo should have at lease had Zelda Windwaker HD in this sell and I would have purchased it right off. If they can have the Mario Bros U game in the sell why not Windwaker HD?

Nintendo can't help it if you already own these games. Stop whining about the list just because you bought the games at full price.

@edgedino X2 is vastly better than X5. X5 is only good for story. The game play is among the worst in the series.

Here in Mexico the retail digital games are very expensive with the promotion.

@iamblinker I really liked Fire Emblem Awakening but I haven't played Kid Icarus Uprising yet. If you're hyped for Smash Bros. go for the latter (it's another Sakurai game).

I'm also getting Minish Cap and strongly thinking about Fire Emblem. (oh and Mega Man 2. Haven't picked that up yet — erg and the Oracle games!) To those complaining, I have never seen sales like this from Nintendo... ever.

How is the content in Fire Emblem? I know it's rated Teen but how "Teen" is it? Anyone care to comment? My problem is that my 5-year-old son loves the demo. :/

I've been waiting for the Oracle games to go on sale again- gonna pick up both of those plus Minish Cap. Even though it has been stated in a few comments, if you haven't picked up Kid Icarus: Uprising than do it!!! High replay value and the online battle modes are really fun.

I like how many of the titles are secret until the sale week. So any bets on what Metroid stuff will go on sale next week? I think I own it all. A surprise Zero Mission release would be welcome, though.

If it goes low enough I might do Pokemon Rumble U even though I've heard it's not as fun as the Wii version. Not much else there to get me excited.

However, I'm also targeting DKC Tropical Freeze in Week 4 as there were just too many new platformers at the time that released for me to get it. I feel like I skipped all the right titles for these sales.

@Webby-sama Oh cool, thanks. Didn't know esrb had all that available. Seems a bit much for my 5-year-old. This is the problem with 3DS though for me as a parent. I can guide my kids through stuff when we play together, but with the 3DS there's no way to share the experience.

As for buying it for just myself, I would if I had more time to play games. I have too many right now and I'm only buying because of the sales. When I do play I like to play with the kids.

I'm disappointed that only one Sonic game went on sale. I would've liked to get Game Gear Sonic 2, even though $3.50 would still be a high price for it.

For some reason, I see the "Tap Here To Purchase" button on everything except the Zelda OoA and Zelda OoS games. Those are the 2 games I want, yet it won't let me purchase them, my eShop account is maxed out so not a money issue, and I see the options for other, more expensive games

All the games I want are for a system I don't have (nor care to). Yay...

It's called currency exchange rates. 1 dollar US money equals 62 cents in British Pounds, 77 cents in euros, $13.23 in Mexican pesos, or even $107.05 in Japanese Yen.

Prices vary by county, but you'll still pay roughly the same amount for the same item anywhere in the civilized world. You could take your money to a currency exchange right now and they will happily give you $13 in pesos for every American dollar.

Really wish they'd bring the oracle games over to Wii U, or we'd get definitive word that GBC games are just never ever coming to Wii U, so we know. I actually have them as cartridges, but would love a more "permanent" copy (which is generously assuming Ninentdo goes modern with digital games in the near future, and we all know what assuming does...)

Kid Icarus: Uprising is one of my all-time favs, so I couldn't resist snagging a digital version to have on the go at all times. Same for Fire Emblem: Awakening, great game to have on the system for whenever. ...theeeeen I figured why not Mega Man X/X2 and Minish Cap too. $70 well spent.

I'm not too keen on the Game Gear release of Sonic. Kinda hoped for a discount on the 3D Remaster. As it stands, nothing for me this week.

Just bought Mega Man 2 ..... going to start this one tonight I think.

Sonic the Hedgehog (Gamegear version) was surprisingly a good game. I still remember the fun boss at the third stage. The games in the Genesis version and the Gamegear version are quite different.

@BearHunger I actually thought Sonic 1 on gamegear was a bit better than Sonic 2 on gamegear.

@GreatPlayer Oh yeah, I agree. But I've played it a lot on Sonic Adventure DX, whereas I never got very far into Sonic 2 because I could almost never beat the first boss.

Not quite in a position to go for $30, but still mulling about if I shoulda skimped on 3D Land for $20. But, there's always holiday sales to anticipate.
