Problem with Zack Scott's comment: "Evolve and Dying Light" are receiving a lot of exposure on YouTube... Ok. Big deal. There's not a commercial break on any wrestling/ufc/dude show that doesn't have those titles. Not to mention the plethora of Internet ads... So essentially, Zack here don't want to try nuthin' new... Just the tried and true. Must be hard parroting what everyone else is saying. He wants to get paid for this? I don't see parrots paid each time they repeat a word. this is sad...

@BLPs the article (not the video) has nothing to do wih "sniping" at one particular fan base... Let's be honest, when was the last time a Saw movie was good? (Answer? Never since the first one) but people continue to shovel money at the franchise and buy tickets. So... The studio continues to make more. Are they good movies? No. Are people buying tickets? Yes. So the producers don't care about the quality of their product, so long as it sells. That's the case here. Would you honestly compare Super Mario World 3D (heck, Super Mario Wii U, for that matter) with Sonic Boom? Most people (and sites) agreed "No.". I love old school Sonic just as much as the next gamer, but c'mon, these have been below average releases for the last decade

Because a bunch of tree huggers are whining about slavery, this persons personal experience (unlike your story, which has absolutely NOTHING to do with personal experience, Much less video games) is invalid? C'mon, there are PLENTY of tree hugging/Political sites with forums for angry or negative posts... This site is for lively conversation of games (and maybe a movie or TV show every once in a while)

@abbyhitter this is sort of what I wanted... Except I was hoping that our VC titles would start from the Wii U screen, as opposed to how it used to be. Alas they needed cash, so came up with the "we know you hate Wii Mode on your Wii U, so... For just a nominal fee of 10$, you can get what we sort of promised early on!" This could have been dealt with via system updates. Since it is what I wanted, I'll stop being vocal now

@TobiasAmaranth um... It's a forum. That's how these things work. You post something, unknown individuals post their response. Forum. See? If you don't want people "up in yo biz'" then do not post on a forum (especially when dealing with personal space, as you can see, people are "touchy" concerning said subject) remember, some folk (you know, big corporations, colleges, etc.) see flirting as sexual harassment, and that's just talk... @Octane true that! Playe the demo, realized it was a poor offering as far demos go, and decided to pick up the game. It was good, if not awesome! yeah, bad demos will actually damage sales...

@thesilverbrick no... You don't HAVE TO erase... Nintendo has seen it in their good graces to offer you a SECOND Amiibo of the same name (different style) for the same price as the SSB Amiibo! jerks... All they need is a patch that allows you to "bank" your information (like Pokemon) over the cloud (so you could choose one while at a friends house), is that so hard? They did it for Pokemon...

@Chaos_Eevee Sorry, but your statement is that you would rather see Nintendo shut it doors, rather than letting other (perhaps not as "experienced" as yourself) people enjoy this iteration of the 3DS? Wow. That is very selfish attitude. Should they also make a lane hjust for you on the freeway? @Quorthon yup! Everything you said! That's honestly what I was expecting in software updates... Never got it, but boy is my console STABLE.... I'm picking up SMG2, jut for kicks. This may be useful for picking up some titles I never had a chance at (or simply was too cheap to pick up at the time)... We will see

@Quorthon you clearly misunderstood what I meant. I am on your side, but all my corporate buddies will ask, "where's my ROI?" In this idea. And, why take time to do something that will net you very little (the amount of man hours it would take to convert these titles would be a huge undertaking. I know everyone out there believes that "it's just a simple conversion"... Sure, as long as my corporate buddies and their supervisors are not involved

@FritzFrapp be fair... In all honesty, the Wii was a glaring success! people did not BUY a Wii U, thought it sucked, then bought themselves either a XB1/PS4... If people had, then the launch sales numbers would not have been so low. It's been two years, and everyone seems to think that they got the short end of he stick... Sorry, but in my opinion, Wii U console owners got it good. At least we're not stuck playing the same 5 old tired games they got on the other consoles.

@iLiveonSaturn I'll be honest, Nintendo thinks just the way you do as well. Why cut off something if you plan on using it in future products? I can almost guarantee that outside of Their "native" game titles, most of these Amiibo will be useless. Pretty, too.

How many specialized degrees do you carry? Enough to say you know everything? This was posted under "Weirdness" not news... If it turns out that it is not real, would it not seem "weird" for someone to make this up, regardless? @rjejr yup! I read that exactly... That would have been cool. one image for the TV, another for your Gamepad (mix and match would be cool also). Alas I raised my own hopes, and they were dashed quite expertly.

@Grumblevolcano like I said before... I don't dislike backwards compatibility, in fact that was a selling point when purchasing my Wii U 18 months ago, but that a new console should be limited by its need to be backwards compatible is just not right. Sony and MS both left Backwards compatibility behind, and I don't see the news articles dooming and glooming them... Maybe it's time we wholeheartedly support moving forward in its entirty, rather than hold ourselves back with the past. I too would like to Nintendo match the other guys, but I don't think it will be possible by serving the future and the past at the same time. btw, I'm all for keeping my old consoles, sure they eat up space, but that's why I went all digital this gen

@MysticX oh yeah... I agree. I was only replying to the comment about controllers not selling games... I was playing devils advocate I know "if there is an exception to the rule, then the rule stands" and the rule here is, gamers like basic controllers (options are nice, but not necessary)
