This year, gamers all over the globe got together for Awesome Games Done Quick, a gaming marathon that raises money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
The event has delivered many memorable moments -- including our very own Marcel blasting through Shovel Knight -- but one of the most heart-warming has to be this marriage proposal delivered during a speedrun on the Treasure N64 classic Mischief Makers.
Jackafur was the one doing the asking, while Lillifer was the pleasantly shocked other party. The whole thing is almost too cute, but it's the enthusiastic reaction from the watching crowd that really makes this proposal special.

AGDQ is a fantastic event for a great cause, and it's full of awesome stuff happening. I've been fortunate enough this year to be able to see a lot of ridiculous runs live, including an amazing Ninja Gaiden 1-3 team relay race that ended with a nearly simultaneous boss kill, and a new world record set for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. If you haven't been watching them during the live broadcast this week on Twitch, now's the time to get on there and check it out.

@dereq That's the issue I have about stuff like this. It puts a ridiculous amount of pressure on the person on the receiving end of the proposal to do it so frickin' public. :x
