Random nonsense:
A football game is 60mins.
With a 40sec play clock, meaning, roughly 90 total plays for offense, 45 for each team(sake of arguement).
A run play, if they go to the house, is about 15secs. Much less if tackled short. A pass play is about 10secs.
So, of the actual 60mins a football game, an offense/defense spends about 450-675 seconds actually playing(7-11 mins).
With 17 games a year, that comes out to 3hrs 6mins of work, a football season, not counting practices.
League minimum is $660k.
The lowest of footballers get paid $220k an hour.

I understand where platgames is coming from, but at the same time, platgames needs to remember where they came from. Branch out, try new things, just don't forget the games and fans that made you a household name.

I try not to. I spend too much time there, as it is.

I look forward to mine. I can play my nintendo first party games on the switch and a majority of the third party games on the steamdeck. The size is fine. It's perfectly portable to a hotel, to work, etc. Definitely not a bar, restaurant...I don't know..wherever else y'all be taking switches now a days.

I've said it before, ms and sony and their acquisitions are more about existing IPs and tech. Talents leave and form new studios. Zampella started respawn, after leaving another studio. I'm sure there are other examples.

There are some games that wouldnt translate well. Example, the supposed rdr show/movie, other than the characters we know and the troubles we've seen, what will differentiate itself from other westerns? Same with ghost of tsushima. Awesome game, beautiful, etc., but what will make it stand out from the other great samurai, kurosawa films. And again with tlou. Yeah, we'll see Joel, ellie, and other characters, but will it be vastly different than the walking dead, besides the jargon(infected/stalkers over walkers), "oh! Be careful of the infected/walkers! But be even MORE WARY of humans!"

If the switch cloud version is the only way for you to play these games, might I suggest saving the money you would spend on full priced cloud versions and just get a series s or a used ps4. Vast libraries for both, for the same price as a few of the cloud games. Or not, you're your own person.

Sony and MS trading blows with each other, all the while nintendo sits snug, getting games from both consoles. Nintendo got ori and cuphead, and salt and sanctuary and now 13 sentinels.

The only "plus" I got out of it, was being able to sell/trade/give digital assets you own. So, if I'm able to gift/sell/trade, even just once, a digital game im no longer playing, why not.
The other thing I didnt quite...get. when referencing the Ronaldo jersey and owning the nft of it. Am I able to sell multiple jerseys to multiple users and make a profit? Cause it sounds like you buy one nft and sell one nft.

Kingdoms try to stop kirby, only to be lost in kirby's cavernous maw and unending appetite.

At $1300, not so much a "rival", more of "not on the radar". Don't know what it's gonna do differently than the switch or steam deck. Which you can get both, for less than this, with some games.

Pc users: thanks to modders. It has 33k, 2260hz, ultra ray charles tracing. Meaning light a blindman could see. And I play as bowsette!

What's the issue? Im sure if you wanted one, you would have one already, so stop getting upset for other people. So long as the ports aren't "cloud" ports, and it doesn't hinder new games, I'm all for it.

I enjoyed your maths. But im going to stick with legend of zelda: a link to the past as the best. Very accessible, for a lot of people/age groups.

After reading many a reviews, in general, I feel a new take has to be made. Two opinions, at least, of any game reviewed. First, by someone who looks forward to said release, the second, by someone new to the genre. Get a familiar take and a wholly new one.

I believe it's because the children that played these games and were forced to give them up, one way or another, are adults with disposable incomes now. So people are capitalizing on, like others have stated, nostalgia. Or those douche b's that think "everything older is better". You know the people, "vinyl has a pure sound" or "CRT is the only way to game". THOSE people.

Tl;dr comments section, so don't know if anyone has touched on it. Obviously Nintendo exclusives will help the switch or the super nintendo switch, but hopefully the steam deck will help with third party title pricing on the switch and discounts, etc.
