Hoping the River City 3DS games get ported over. Never released physically in the UK and never in a sale on the eshop.
Hopefully we get that Three Kingdoms game in the West!
I’d love to see more news on River City Girls 2
@KevTastic84 think I picked them both up together in a sale some time ago but aside from Girls Kunio sales in the UK / EU are incredibly rare. Still waiting for the Switch collection plus DD4 and Stay Cool to finally go on sale. Cash is tight these days.....
This looks fun, would definitely try it if it ever reach our shores.
Hopefully it gets ported.
Reminds me of warriors of fate. That game and many others like knights of the round, aliens vs predators and captain commando need the streets of rage 4 glow-up.
Love this series!
They should chill out with the bloom. Looks washed out af.
Looks like playing the original GBA in the sunlight lol
This time it would be great to have a localization AND a physical version. Not what happened with Kunio-kun The World Classics Collection.
For some reason the UK / EU never seems to get any kind of sale on the Switch Kunio games. Thought they might finally do it with this anniversary especially since Arc System Works recently put loads of their other stuff on sale finally over here. Still no drop on the Kunio or Double Dragon games though. Money is a bit tight and I already have several of the games on the collection elsewhere.
I'm not sure. I like beat em ups, but they're not one of my favorite genres.
There's no word on localisation
What a bummer.....almost placed a PA order for it.
"River City Saga: Three Kingdoms". Where did this name come from? That's not a translation of the JP title and the game hasn't been announced for US/EU yet.
NGL, this looks like the sith. I’d play it up and down.
Is the west getting a physical ? I may have missed it. It said Japan is 'also' getting a physical. Does that mean we are, or they're getting it in addition to the digital we'll both be getting?
@GamerGrandpa says it will be released in Julynin the west.
@Roz1281 I would
Look to play Asia for a euro physical. As for a western I wouldn’t bet on it unless LR picks it up.
Summer is getting packed. I will have to space games out.
So still no physical version in the West...
@Moroboshi876 @Roz1281 : I strongly doubt this will get a Western retail release, even more so because it looks like such a niche crossover.
Your best bet will be to import. If there is a Southeast Asian version, that will likely have English language packaging (if previous Kunio-kun releases are anything to go by). I also suspect that LRG is likely to issue their own release as they’ve released a bunch of Kunio-kun/Double Dragon games, should you be so inclined.
There should be English on the cart no matter which version you buy (judging by previous releases, and the fact that this is releasing worldwide).
River City wasn't built in a day! :v
I gotta say, after the brilliantly neon colored style of River City Girls, seeing a new game recycling decades old Kunio-kun sprites is rough.
This looks promising and fun.
Color me interested!
