There's a sort of... B-tier of Nintendo puzzlers, isn't there? Stuff like Yoshi's Cookie and Wario's Woods. We'd argue, perhaps fruitlessly, that Dr. Mario slots into this little group rather better than the truly A-grade stuff. On Switch, in particular, there's an embarrassment of puzzling riches that we'd pick over this one. But why?
We know it's a slightly contentious position, because it is definitely a classic game by some measure, but Dr. Mario 64? It sort of sucks. Please, don't get upset. You love Dr. Mario, I'm sure. Throwing those pills into that massive jar has an admitted appeal in its silliness. Different-coloured viruses appear. Mario throws different-coloured pills into the jar in order to line them up and destroy said viruses. The catch is that each pill is made up of two segments, each of which can be one of three colours. You've got to rotate and manoeuvre the pills in such a way that you match four colours, either pill or virus, at which point they'll disappear. Same as it ever was. The problem is, we just don't find it especially fun or interesting.
Outside of a generally not-that-enjoyable premise, Dr. Mario just doesn't seem to lend itself to much in the way of skilled play and competitive fun. You can, in theory “chain” your pills and viruses by having loose segments fall down the jar as they are separated, but this is awkward and annoying to pull off. Unlike many other versus puzzlers (Puzzle League, Puyo Puyo) we found that a single wrong move could scupper you completely with next to no chance of meaningful recovery. Essentially, the prescribed nature of the virus placement means that things have to be laid down a certain way, and you're unavoidably going to end up with quite a lot of garbage on the screen that doesn't really assist you later in a round, unlike the aforementioned better games in which you have a chance of recovery even in quite dire situations.
There are plenty of modes here, but they're all basically the exact same thing. The Poundland Paper Mario Story mode consists of the rogue's gallery from then-contemporary Game Boy Color hit Wario Land 3, which was interesting to us as Mario superfans. Problem is, we had enormous trouble proceeding in said Story mode because even at the default difficulty, Dr. Mario 64 is shockingly difficult. Pills fall fast, the controls feel less responsive than they could be, there's little in the way of visual feedback when rotating your pieces and computer players are smart and aggressive, making few mistakes. We wondered if we were just bad at it, but the NES version never seemed as rough as this despite being ostensibly the same thing. It's difficult to qualify just what exactly has changed in the game's balancing, but something fundamental broke en route from the 8-bit version.
It's not fun on single-player, and multiplayer just made us pine for Puyo Puyo Tetris. So we played that instead, and a good time was had by all. We tried, but ultimately Dr. Mario 64 feels like a weak version of a weak game.

I liked it, was genuinely challenging and required thought and planning, unlike most video games
Ehh, nice to try it at least after all these years it never came to the UK.
Not something to loose sleep over, but technically a Wario game to cross off the list. Now how about bringing us Wario Land VB Nintendo?
I completely disagree!! 🤣🤣 I played the snes version on Switch and now I have upgraded 🙃 brilliant little puzzler and makes a change from Tetris
Why would someone who openly voices their dislike of Dr. Mario as a puzzle game be chosen to review a game in its series?
And who is the “we” who doesn’t find the gameplay of Dr. Mario fun or interesting? This site gave the two most recent console editions of the game 7/10s and the two most recent handheld editions 8/10s.
Some common sense and consistency on this site would be nice every once in a while.
Never played this one, but I have many fond memories of playing the nes version, trying to keep up with my buddy who was a Dr Mario god.
I agree on the control issues but believe that, that is a N64 service problem. Having not played the original N64 I really don't know. Played through Mario's story section on easy with my wife and had a blast. A good time with my family is always a 10/10.😊
@topher6490 “ And who is the “we” who doesn’t find the gameplay of Dr. Mario fun or interesting?”
Didn’t you know, @stuartgipp is the most recent host for the venom symbiote. /j
(No shade to stuart, just a little joke)
Lowest you can give this game is a six. It’s an above average puzzler at worst.
Push square gave the broken GTA trilogy a 5! This game works and does what it should.
Getting someone who doesn’t like Dr Mario to review it - is like giving me Fortnite to review…. It ain’t gonna be pretty.
Hey, I love Dr Mario. I'll choose any of the various games over Puyo Puyo any day of the week...
I think you were just bad at the game. Not the games fault. If you’re used to puyo puyo like I was before playing this also. It took some time to get used to the premise. I also thaught it was crazy hard. It’s just too fast. I at least cleared the game on normal in story mode. Hard is waaay to though. I agree on that. The computer is too good for me. I die in a couple of seconds usually.
This never came to the uk. Tried it and not for me
@topher6490 I agree with you. This is objectively a bad review. Similar thing happened with Maiden of Blackwater on their sister site, Push Square.
They got someone who already hated the original game to review the remaster/hd upgrade and expected him not to give it a bad review, why on earth would you choose someone who already dislikes a franchise to review a game in said franchise? It makes no sense.
The result over there was much as it is here; an unfair, amateurish review from someone who shouldn't have been chosen to review a game that they couldn't be objective with.
My wife and I have played this a fair bit and it definitely doesn't deserve a 4/10. It's really a 6 for me.
P.s. Nintendo life mods will probably ban me for this post, as they have done so previously, when I've politely called out a reviewer. Apparently it made me "rude".
Unusually harsh review. I agree that the game is harder than it needs to be and the selection of game modes isn't the greatest but it doesn't do anything else wrong per say. Well, other than the irritating music and sound effects. I played through story mode with both characters on every difficulty (+ couple of attempts at character unlocks) and the music was the only thing I disliked.
I had already read the regulations of their reviews for a long time, and they mention that in a certain way, they are subjective.
However, recently, many of their reviews have fallen on a fairly strict or rather negative level, and in certain cases it is understood, but that negativity is seriously very toxic and deplorable, sad that toxicity has contaminated the internet too much and especially you ...
@SakuraHaruka well, reviews are always just someone's opinion, so it's all subjective.
The thing is, if you have someone who already has a bias against a game, they shouldn't be chosen to write a review. A reviewer is expected to remain as objective as possible.
Like I said, above, this was a badly written review by someone who shouldn't have been picked to write it.
I’m not sure about this review at all. I played through the story mode on hard and found it pretty easy. Then again I played hours and hours of the NES original as a child against my mum (it was one of the only games she’d play).
The game isn’t as refined as Panel De Pon or Puyo Puyo as a multiplayer game but it is much more accessible.
Putting it on the same level as Yoshis Cookie and Warios Woods is just inaccurate. It’s fundamentally sound (those other games are generally flawed or hard to follow) but some of the other criticisms are valid.
One wrong move - or garbage from a combo early - can be almost impossible to recover from (but it can be a long drawn out inevitable defeat). Still that’s part of the price the game pays for accessibility IMO.
Tetris is still much better.
If you play it on an actual N64 console the controls are perfectly responsible, and all the modes add fun twists to the formula. I'd definitely give it an 8 or 8.5; giving it a 4 for HDMI TV/Switch Online problems is just wrong
Yeesh! Talk about harsh.
This was a pretty crap review tbh. Probably should've had someone who doesn't hate the franchise review it...
Whoa whoa wait a minute...
Don't lump Wario's Woods in with the B tier puzzlers.
Very Tom Hardy Voice “That’s bait”
Eh, I thought the game was great. I longed for a more modern Dr. Mario game that can let me play against the CPU in 1-on-1 or 4-player formats, and while Dr. Mario 64 didn't check off all of the right boxes, it definitely gave me one of the best Dr. Mario games out there and is one of the main reasons I'm staying subscribed to the NSO Expansion Pack.
"On Switch, in particular, there's an embarrassment of puzzling riches that we'd pick over this one."
You're not saying Kasiori and Soldam are better than Dr. Mario 64, right?
This cart never left my N64 for months. Addicting as hell for single player and the 4 player modes were a blast as well. I agree, this review looks pretty pants when compared to other recent Dr. Mario reviews on this site. Stop saying "we" when it obviously doesn't reflect other people's opinions. Mama mia!
Kinda embarrassing how ready some people are to launch into a tailspin over review scores they disagree with. State your case in the comments, sure, but mounting assaults against an entire outlet’s credibility? Accusing it of “toxicity?” Please.
Stuart is clearly knowledgable and a fan of puzzlers, making him perfectly well suited to reviewing one he enjoys less. It’s not every outlet’s responsibility to track down a reviewer who loves every single niche corner of a genre – especially for a mini review of a decades-old game.
@Link41x In Stuarts defense, he has every right to his opinion and it's just as valid as ours, that's not the problem.
As I have mentioned previously, he just wasn't a good choice to review this game as he isn't able to remain as objective as possible due to his preexisting distain for the franchise.
The royal "we" was used a few times too, I feel.
Man, talk about negative review from the get go.
Straight outta the gate with "it sort of sucks""
Great attitude going in.
🙄
I will use the same sort of reviewing technique for this mini review
"It sort of sucks"
4/10
C'mon NL, you're better than this.
@Effortless-gamer This is actually better written than most game reviews, on this site or in general. Just because you disagree with the site doesn't make it badly written.
And where are people getting the idea that Stuart "hates" Dr. Mario? Talk about bias; it's in some people's reading of the review.
@wsz I agree accusations of toxicity were a bit silly. And that it's not the outlets job to find someone who can be objective.
But c'mon, you read the same review everyone else has. Can you honestly say that it was a well written, fair review that really gave the game a chance?
@Dr_Corndog "This is actually better written than most game reviews, on this site or in general". Are you freaking serious?
"It sort of sucks." This is literally in the 2nd paragraph. This is not how you start a fair, reasonable review.
"The problem is, we* just don't find it especially fun or interesting."
NL gave Dr Mario Miracle Cure and Dr Mario World 8/10 so he certainly isn't speaking for everyone. So who is this "we"?
"Outside of a generally not-that-enjoyable premise, Dr. Mario just doesn't seem to lend itself to much in the way of skilled play and competitive fun"
Speak for yourself, Stu. There's plenty of skill involved to be good at the game. Just because you're not good at it doesn't mean it lacks skill
The review is objectively poorly written and unfair as he clearly can't be unbiased. Look at the above quotes. He literally says the premise of Dr Mario is "not that enjoyable". That's not directed specifically at Dr Mario 64. That's directed at the entire franchise, as they all have the same premise.
If he doesn't like the premise of what makes Dr Mario the game that it is, his review cannot be objective and fair. Thats what makes it a poor review.
If the review was fair and objective, I don't think I'd argue with his opinion on the score at all, but it's the fact that he went into it knowing he doesn't find the premise enjoyable. That negative frame of mind doesn't lend itself to a well written, fair review.
Dr Mario is a blast with two people.
Removed - harassment
@Effortless-gamer @topher6490 Presumably he used "we" because it's a multiplayer game and he was playing with others?
Dr. Mario is my first choice for a puzzle game. I love it! 4 is too low for this, even if it’s not the best version of the game.
Its Dr. Mario on N64. What more could anyone want or expect from such a thing? It was never going to be completely different to the NES game before it.
This is my all time favorite N64 puzzler right next to Pokemon Puzzle League, Bust-a-Move 2, and the New Tetris. Playing 4-players on this is madness fun back in the days and it still is.
I really want to give this game a shot, never played it before, but I don't think it is enough to justify the Expansion Pack price. Not really interested in anything else at the moment.
"On Switch, in particular, there's an embarrassment of puzzling riches that we'd pick over this one."
I don't think NSO and Virtual Console games should be judged by modern standards as they are not modern games.
@Bass_X0 agree 100%! Can you imagine reviewing the original Super Mario Bros and comparing it to Mario Odyssey or DK Tropical Freeze?
@LinktotheFuture Dr Mario 64 is not worth the price of the expansion pass. Don't upgrade just for the one above average game. Just play miracle cure on your 3ds instead 😁
I think it's okay to not like the game but like so many reviews on this site lately it feels like it exists to spark controversy and arguments and garner more clicks and comments but what can I say it works how many people have they got commenting on a review of an old N64 on a Sunday evening?? If you don't want to see thrash like this then just read it and leave, don't reward their attention seeking with your engagement.
I’ll take Tetris, Puyo Puyo, Magical Drop, and even Columns. But Dr. Mario is a puzzle game I just couldn’t get into regardless of what version it is. I do enjoy the music though.
If you don't want to see thrash like this then just read it
How do you know its trash if you don't read it?
don't reward their attention seeking with your engagement.
How do you know its attention seeking if you don't engage to find out its attention seeking?
I love the Dr. Mario series and I'm a puzzle video game fan. GBA era onwards. So Wii, Wii U , DSiWare & 3DS iterations were enjoyed by my the family and I. The N64 version has been played the least. However, 4 is harsh. Maybe 6. (The average review score for it is 71% I believe?)
Everywhere I've read regards Dr. Mario 64 as the best in the series just for its focus on multiplayer.
@shonenjump86 if you love the music, don't listen to the "chill" track. It's terrible. Main theme is catchy though 😁
@Bass_X0 you seem to misunderstood my point. By all means read it and make a judgement but if you don’t want to see more of it dont reward it with engagement, engagement meaning repeated clicks and comments.
Completely agree with the review.. played it a few times and thought how trash this was... but then again I thought the same about my favourite game oceriana of time.... I'm thinking it's just the service provided
All the Dr. Mario games are awful and terribly boring.
@Effortless-gamer Thanks for the recommendation!
Top 5 best puzzlers on N64
10/10 Tetrisphere
10/10 The New Tetris
9/10 Pokémon Puzzle League
9/10 Dr. Mario 64
8/10 Wetrix
Dr. Mario 64 was the first Dr. Mario game with 4 players and the first (and only) with a meaty single player story mode.
It's easily the best Dr. Mario game ever released.
B-tier?
Even Puzzle League, Mario's Picross, and arguably Wario's Woods and Kirby's Ghost Trap are A-tier.
B-tier puzzlers made by Nintendo are probably Mario&Yoshi and Yoshi's Cookie.
Dr. Mario is way more beloved. There are people playing nothing else but Dr. Mario for 30 years.
@topher6490 Using "we" is a very dumb decision and honestly should be stopped. Definitely makes it seem like NL is a hivemind that has the exact thoughts on everything when that absolutely isn't the case.
@shonenjump86 All of those (with the exception of Tetris) are just puzzle games of matching colors including Dr. Mario, not sure why you couldn't get into it. Columns is just Dr. Mario with a jewel theme and Puyo Puyo is just Dr. Mario with a gummy theme.
@SKTTR Kirby's Ghost Trap is just another name for Puyo Puyo, now Kirby's Star Stacker (for Super NES and Game Boy), that's a fantastic one.
every time someone complains about the standard use of royal we in a nintendolife article i age 20 years
@Medic_Alert What was wrong with the mobile version? They announced it was over when I found out about it so never jumped in.
I like it, I mean it's fun and simple like the original.
@Specter_of-the_OLED I’m aware of that. I don’t hate Dr. Mario but it just doesn’t click with me.
@CreatiScope More than Dr. Mario, I felt it more like a reverse version of Virus Buster, the Dr. Mario minigame from Brain Age 2 that eventually was included in the Dr. Mario games made by Arika (Online Rx, Dr. Luigi and Miracle Cure, but not in Express).
In Virus Buster, you can control more than one capsule at the time. The capsules and viruses are slightly bigger than usual, which makes the play area smaller. You control the capsules using the touch screen (DS, 3DS, Wii U) or the pointer (Wii). In Virus Buster the capsules go down, like usual Dr. Mario, while in Dr. Mario World they went up.
@somebread Same, I’m not even that old but it’s staggering to me how many people don’t understand what it means, or realise how commonplace this is in reviews and other articles not just on Nintendo Life, not just on the internet, but literally throughout the entire Anglosphere.
@HammerGalladeBro Oh weird, going up? I can't even wrap my head around that lol
Removed - unconstructive feedback
Definitely agree with this review. Dr. Mario has never been good in my opinion. And it's endlessly frustrating to see Nintendo continue to favor it over their much better puzzle franchise Puzzle League/Panel de Pon.
@somebread Man, if that was the case then the Queen would be approximately 12 billion years old!
@HotGoomba This is hilarious! Did you make it?
I had no idea there was a Dr. Mario on the 64
@MARl0 Tetris Attack has always been my personal favorite, wish they'd release that. Yoshi is one of my favorite unwind games.
@frogopus Dr. Mario originally released on console???
Obviously a clickbait review… the writer already didnt like the originals, why would he change his view with this one.
Sure, Bad articles make lots of comments, so it make more $$$. Cheap practice, and you are risking loosing readers.
@frogopus dr. Mario is mainly a console game. If there is an arcade version it was never near as populr as the NES version
Still the only way to play 4-player Dr. Mario.
I played with two friends online and we had a lot of fun!
Boy I think I rented this when I was younger and was bored beyond comparison. Never cared for this series
@Pokester99 skyrim, gta v, mario kart 8 say hello. Then cod, bf, madden, sf, samurai and dynasty warriors all say hi, as well. Oh, forza and gt, have entered the chat.
So, you gave it a 4 for being Dr. Mario and you don't like Dr. Mario?
Man, every time i think NL's review standards can't possibly dip any lower you guys find ways to surprise me!
Saying this is the best Dr. Mario game is like saying the 77' Gremlin was the crown jewel of the series. Sure, you're technically right but it's not really an accomplishment.
Ms. Pacman Maze Craze, Bomberman Arcade, Puyo Puyo Sun 64, Magical Tetris Challenge are all far better and more interesting puzzle games. Dr. Mario is the same damn game on every console.
Is this…is this a joke?

Good, finally little games from nintendo are reviewed as they supposed to be. Laziness should not be rewarded.
@HammerGalladeBro @nukatha That was one of the main reasons I liked it — four player Dr Mario. A big deal for its time. Great Party game! Probably my 2nd favorite version.
The Tetris & Dr. Mario combo SNES cart is my favorite. Only up to two players, but It had a mode that combined the two games (way before Puyo Puyo Tetris). Plus they were able to sell the games again on the SNES, but you got two puzzle games in one package.
The Japan only Nintendo Puzzle Collection for the GC included the N64 version of Dr. Mario.
I used to really like Dr Mario on WIiWare, until Nintendo crushed the Wii's online mode. and Dr Luigi on Wii U felt like a cheap replacement with worse UI and QoL (for example, you were forced to use the main gamepad to play)
I haven't bought the NSO expansion pass, but if Dr Mario 64 suffers from input delay, I can completely understand why it might get a bad score. But if the game is a perfectly playable version of Dr Mario, then I don't think it should be overlooked just because this particular reviewer doesn't like Dr Mario.
Though to be honest, ever since I started playing Puyo Puyo, I've always thought Dr Mario wasn't as interesting in comparison.
@Tandy255 that one, and Mario Kart double dash were the games my family would play till literal dawn! They were so much fun! 😁
I know a review is an opinion piece but damn.....
There's no strategy?! That's just not true! My family routinely pulled of 3 step combos. Using the garbage at the bottom to piss of the other competitor! 😂
This all just seems like someone who doesn't like the formula, but that doesn't say a lot about how it stacks up to its other iterations? That's what I'd like to know!
@HotGoomba For all we know, he was practising years in advance, it's not really an error. Anyway, Nintendo said more recently he isn't a plumber.
What a terrible review lmao. Clearly they do not play or like Dr. Mario at all.
If you like Dr. Mario, you'll like the N64 game. They're all kind of the same anyway.
Finally, someone speaks the thruth about dr. mario, a horrible overrated game, released as an anwer to better falling games like puyo puyo (and in the wake of tetris)... Although i like the Dr. Mario character as an amiibo and idea, this game has been seen through rose tintled spectacles because it was mario and there kept being new versions..
(This particular version isn't a bad, but not an improvement or interesting take on the series)....
(And if we're talknig A-tier, Picross is obviously A-tier, but well present on the switch now (except 3d) , i would really love a version of gba's guri logi champ, my favourite puzzle game ever), And slitherlink another DS i now can paly on my switch as well should deserve some more love too...
I love Dr Mario and was thrilled to see it in 64....definitely one of the reasons for me upgrading actually.
We are all entitled to our opinions though
Says game doesn't lend itself to skilled play, then says he cant beat the story mode because it's too hard. Hm.
Never cared for Dr Mario growing up but played a lot of Tetris with my mom, it's just a better game. I did actually get into the mobile version of Dr Mario for a spell and had fun with it. A shame they terminated it recently though.
Regarding the "we" thing. That is a very common style choice used to avoid use of the first person. Lots of people here criticising the writing that don't seem to understand this.
@Effortless-gamer He expresses his opinion clearly, provides reason for that opinion, and does it all eloquently and succinctly. That's the only objective (since you like using that word so much) criteria I know for judging a review.
You can introduce your own criteria, sure, but then one wonders whether it's a game review you're really interested in.
Maybe (and please hear me out), but maybe it would be best not to have someone who has never enjoyed a particular series write reviews for it. Nobody was expecting a review of a 20 year old puzzle game, so having an admitted hater of the franchise write a random review just comes across as trolling, if you ask me.
Yeah, I can't say I was ever a fan of Dr. Mario either — it felt like a malformed lovechild of Puyo Puyo and Columns
Following IGN's lead of wrong reviewer for a game, are we? Look, I'm not the biggest Dr. Mario fan...but this is IMO the single best game in the series and certainly better than this crappy review would suggest. It's also a game I thought they'd never bother to rerelease at all, so I'm really happy it's here.
@Andee Dr. Mario came out before Puyo Puyo and Columns though. So how could it possibly copy either of them?
@Dr_Corndog clearly, you have no idea about writing fundamentals or how reviews should be written.
Yes I use the word "objective" a lot. Because that's how reviews should be written - objectively. Duh. Of course ultimately it always boils down to one persons opinion, but deliver the facts to back those opinions up.This review is full of completely subjective comments like "it kinda sucks" and "lacks fun and skill" without providing any detail to justify them.
If you don't understand why this review is badly written and certainly not "one of the better reviews on Nintendo Life or otherwise", I really don't know what to tell you, dude...
A clever ploy — this article is so bad that I had to create an account for Nintendo Life to disagree.
"a generally not-that-enjoyable premise" : It's a puzzle solving game. What's the premise of Tetris, or Puyo Puyo for that matter? The theme of Dr. Mario has a great deal of charm, and is more than enough to keep me engaged in the underlying puzzle.
"a single wrong move could scupper you completely with next to no chance of meaningful recovery" : This outs the author as either an imbecile or a quitter. As one who plays Dr. Mario on an actually competitive level, there is no single misdrop that is impossible to recover from, even on 20 HI. If a single misplay is causing you to top out, then you need to become more practiced in Dr. Mario, which is the requirement of literally every puzzle game.
"You can, in theory 'chain' your pills and viruses by having loose segments fall down the jar as they are separated, but this is awkward and annoying to pull off." : Combos are the beauty of single player, and the necessity of versus. If you find them awkward and annoying, this game simply isn't for you.
In the end, I know I am upset that a reviewer didn't enjoy a game that I obviously do. Just wanted to put my own voice out there that says this game has more to offer than the author suggests. It's not a 10/10 game, but it deserves more than 4/10 just because "it's not Puyo Puyo".
I agree completely, and think that was a great review. I want to read honest unbiased reviews and if someone doesn't like the franchise that's just as worthwhile of an opinion as anyone else's. I like Nintendo games, but I don't need all the reviews to be exagerrated and higher than they should be with the reviewer wearing rose-tinted glasses for the benefit of us Nintendo fans reading. If they didn't like the first or second Dr. Mario games, there's no reason to expect them to like this, it's basically the same game it's always been. If people expect to see better ratings here, there has to be a better game, and this isn't it. If it was such a great hit that everybody loved, the rating would reflect that.
This review is like having someone who hates Souls games review a Souls game and give it a 4/10 because "it's too hard." Honestly that's a score I would probably give it, but the amount of complaints I would receive would be unfathomable. I see no reason why I shouldn't be complaining about this one.
@Effortless-gamer I wouldn't know what to say, either, if I took it upon myself to argue that a game review, by definition a person's opinion, should somehow be "objective."
(Actually, I could probably come up with something, though it would make me look extremely silly.)
@frogopus Sure, so was Vs. Super Mario bros., but that don't make the game a "Arcade classic". Dr. Mario was a console game first and foremost. The arcade games, both Vs. and Playchoice, where mostly a port. The main release and focus where on the NES and Gameboy.
Why are you arguing such a fact? Dr. Mario is world known because the NES and Gameboy cartridges (and later consoles), not because Arcades.... Sure, you may got into the game because arcades, but you are in the minority.
Wait, what? This reads like dr mario itself is a bad puzzle game. I don't know how bad the n64 port is (i remember it being ok though, but maybe my memory is not what it used to) but... really? I've played many version and i love it, very different from other puzzlers in its rhythm and strategies.
And of course there's competitive dr mario, its a very precise game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7FnA7K4U9w
I'm glad they said controls are unresponsive because there were so many times where I swore it happened to me. That really is a deal-breaker in a game that expects such fast reactions to the pills.
I appreciate you exploring the scale.
I hate this game so I agree with the review lol
My wife, a huge Dr.Mario fan, just played this version and loved it. She’s been playing Dr.Mario since the NES, and we own physical versions over a few systems. She’s a real enthusiast.
What I can say is, as a long time reader of this site, and as a nearly 46 year old man that’s been gaming since the Atari era…what’s garbage, or rubbish for you, are your reviews. This style of writing is an embarrassment, and your snark does the website and the review, a total disservice.
Agreed with AgentLA. Yet another terrible review from a terrible reviewer.
