Most fans would agree that Nintendo’s current eShop for Switch could use some work. Sure, it serves its purpose well from a purely transactional standpoint, but there are some glaring issues at the heart of it. The layout makes it difficult to just casually browse and find interesting new titles. User reviews used to be a feature, until Nintendo decided the eShop was better off without them. Worst of all, there’s no catchy music. The company has never been completely on the ball with its online offerings, but even given the fact that the sheer number of games on the system are bound to create discoverability issues, it would be difficult to argue that its latest iteration of the eShop is also its greatest.
Luckily for us, that doesn’t mean that digital shoppers have to suffer for the duration of this generation. A fan named Michael Fairley decided to step up where Nintendo won’t and put together an impressively useful site to help Switch owners find the best prices for the games and hardware they want. Deku Deals has become the indisputable gold standard for researching any purchases on Nintendo Switch, so we thought we’d speak with Michael to discuss his site at greater length and pick his brain regarding Nintendo’s own efforts in the digital storefront space.
Nintendo Life: First off, could you take a moment to introduce yourself?
Hi! I’m Michael Fairley, and I’ve been running Deku Deals as a one-man project since 2018. I live in Seattle, Washington, and I’ve been a professional software developer for the past decade. In my free time I like playing video games, listening to podcasts, reading books, and writing code.
What’s your experience been like running Deku Deals?
Running Deku Deals is simultaneously one of the most rewarding and most challenging things I’ve ever done. Some days, I’m really proud of all that I’ve accomplished with the site. Other days, I just look at my to-do list and feel overwhelmed. But generally, I like solving complex problems, and the site’s users always keep me going, so let’s call it a net-positive.
If any, what have been some unforeseen challenges that surprised you?
Dealing with complex/messy data is one of the most complicated parts of running Deku Deals. Some examples: a game with “2” in its name might be listed at some retailers with “II” or “Two” instead; there can be different versions of the same game in different regions — sometimes with slightly different release dates or names; and in one instance, there are actually two completely different games that have the exact same name. I’ve had to put a lot of work into making my automated tools handle these types of situations (when I would much rather spend my time building user-facing features).
In what ways does the site’s current state differ or align with your original vision?
When I first started the site, it was narrowly focused on only the few features that I personally wanted, namely wishlisting and deal notifications for Switch games. Some of the main ways it has expanded beyond that are all of the search and recommendation tools for finding new games, being able to track the collection of games you own, and the recent additions of PlayStation and Xbox.
How has community response affected your development plans for Deku Deals?
Requests from Deku Deals’ users have had a huuuge impact on the site! It turns out people have lots of different preferences about how they buy video games. For instance, some people never want to deal with cartridges and prefer to only buy digital versions of games, whereas other folks are very interested in having a collection of games on their shelf and only want to buy physical copies... so I’ve added options to filter the entire site by format. Similarly, kids tend to have lots of free time but not a lot of money, which inspired the Bang for your Buck section on the site.
The biggest thing the eShop needs for discoverability is to personalize the games it recommends based on the games you’ve played and wishlisted.
What were some of the most requested features from users of your site that you haven’t seen implemented yet in the eShop?
The biggest thing the eShop needs for discoverability is to personalize the games it recommends based on the games you’ve played and wishlisted. Steam does this really well; everyone’s Steam homepage looks completely different, and it does a great job of guiding you towards games that you’re probably interested in. In contrast, the Switch eShop just shows everybody the same few categories, with the same games, in the same order.
How do you think Nintendo could better improve its eShop interface and usability?
From a usability perspective, the eShop is just wayyy too slow. The pages take much longer to load than they should, and even the animations run poorly. It’s also a little ridiculous that putting the console to sleep while the eShop is open will usually cause it to close with an error message next time you turn the console on.
Why do you think Nintendo doesn’t iterate on its shop design or features very much?
I think there are a few different reasons. 1) It’s not in their company DNA. Nintendo’s online services have never been amazing. And it seems like Nintendo aims to release the best thing they can, but then don’t iterate on and improve it after the fact. 2) Nintendo’s different regional branches operate independently. Each of them run their own websites, and there are completely distinct ways to browse games online for North America, Europe, and Japan, which are all completely separate from the eShop app on the console itself. This likely leads to split attention, duplicated effort, and siloed data, preventing them from coming up with an amazing, unified shopping experience.
I think it’s important that Deku Deals continue to run smoothly, have accurate data, and be user friendly, so that people keep wanting to use it.
What are some new features or changes you’re working on?
Adding PlayStation and Xbox to the site took a solid six months of work. During that time, lots of things broke, and I didn’t prioritize fixing bugs or site maintenance. So I’m taking some time to do that now. I think it’s important that Deku Deals continue to run smoothly, have accurate data, and be user friendly, so that people keep wanting to use it. I do have some new features in the works that should be ready in the next few months, but nothing I’m ready to publicly announce just yet.
What are your thoughts on expanding the site’s development beyond a one man operation?
I have a lot of mixed feelings about this. On one hand, Deku Deals is my baby that I’ve put a ton of love and effort into. At the same time, the site would definitely benefit from more people working on it, especially folks who have different skill sets than mine. That will probably happen some day, but I’m still not quite sure how and when I want to make that transition.
Last question: what games have you been playing lately?
Metroid Dread — I love the Metroid series, flaws and all. Death Stranding — I recently got my first PlayStation ever, and am working my way through the best of the PS exclusives. Echoes of the Eye DLC for Outer Wilds — one of my all-time favorite games (not to be confused with Outer Worlds!)
Our thanks to Michael for taking the time to answer our questions — you can follow him on Twitter @michaelfairley. Be sure to visit Deku Deals and give it a try, too; it'll cause you to both save and spend more money than you ever thought possible.

Deku deals is such a great site. I like the deal alerts, in particular.
Nice interview, thanks! I use Deku Deals all the time for tracking sales. 😊
Hey, still better than the Wii, Wii U and 3DS eShops of old.
I love his site. It's saved me hundreds in game buys.
I agree with him. The store is slow.
Because of this site I rarely make exceptions buying games at full price. It’s too easy to wait and know instantly when something is on sale.
Nice interview and different from the usual corporate stuff. It's nice to read criticism with some facts to back it up.
8/10.
Nintendo's approach to the Switch has evolved from being simple to being too simple. The eShop is just one of many examples of this being such a problem.
@Angelic_Lapras_King I dunno, I liked the 3DS eShop. Mostly because you had little Pikmin doing your download sometimes! A very Nintendo touch.
I thought the Wii Shop did it better, but the eShop is fine. I check the new-release section once a week, so I always know what's going on. And I do not have an issue with browsing speed, though downloads seem to take an inordinate amount of time. Sure, this isn't perfect, but I'm not hindered at all, whether looking for a specific game or the latest releases. And I find it more easily navigable than the PlayStation store.
Deku Deals is so good and well made, sometimes I just look at it and can’t believe that it’s completely free.
@simevidas it isn't. Your data is useful.
In another way to sum up Nintendo's eShop setup: Sh#t sucks.
Yeah it's a bit slow. The search function is pretty good, could find diablo 2 resurrected rather easily
Love Deku Deals !! Thank him for the very good work !
I use psprices
I think the E Shop is perfectly fine. I'm sure some people will complain because it doesn't wipe their hole for them and pat them on the head afterwards.
I have been using this great website (dekudeals) since switch launch, and I was happy they recently added the XBOX support. They are my main source for tracking games deals
@DumbElder what are you implying beyond personalised ads?
https://www.dekudeals.com/ccpa
While I generally don't mind perusing the eShop, I don't really see any problem with Nintendo adding music or something like that since it matters to so many people. Nintendo might as well do that for the Switch and its successors.
Deku Deals is a fantastic website. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to keep track of game prices.
Great read I’m curious to know what is the name of the game that is called the same name for two completely different games xxx
It’s insanely slow to view the entire sales section, 10-15 seconds waiting for 6-9 icons to load. By far the slowest browsing of any app I’ve ever used. But apparently no one cares lol
@Dragonslacker1 probably New Super Mario 🤣
I don't hate the eshop; Combined with wish list and the weekly in-Switch links to new games and demos and features and such, it has much of what I need. If I want more information about a game I go to Nintendo Life first and Deku Deals or metacritic second. Plus if a wishlist game has a sale, I use Deku Deals to compare to prior sale prices which clearly is info which would never be on the eshop. My only two big negatives about the eshop:
The 'great deals' list has gotten less useful the older Switch gets. I used to scroll through them all weekly, but now the list has 800 games.
I wish there were more filter categories. For some reason the Nintendo website has filters the Switch's eshop doesn't have. Plus filters like 'visual novel' and 'metroidvania' would be more useful than only having the very broad categories like 'adventure' and 'platformer'. Even if some people dislike the unofficial categories, having more ways to filter as options wouldn't hurt anything. Also I want to be able to e.g. select both 'puzzle' and 'platformer' at once.
Third minor thing - why can't you remove something from your wishlist directly from the eshop?
I kind of got used to it but I use the website to buy stuff most of the time
@TryToBeHopeful I am not implying anything. I am saying the website isn't free because of the ads running on data the user sells.
Deku Deals is a brilliant site. It has saved me a great deal of money and also helped me discover hidden gems.
@DumbElder “Useful” doesn’t pay the bills. Are you suggesting that the owner of the website is turning my data into money somehow? My browser (Firefox) blocks trackers, and I don’t see any ads on the website.
Yeah, well it works.
@FishyS There's a trash-can icon next to every game on the Wish List.
@simevidas yup.
@DumbElder like almost all websites? Did you read the link? He’s not selling data on your game likes to advertisers. And he gives options to opt out although anyone that cares would use an adblocker if they didn’t want him to be able to fund his server costs.
The Wish list is an absolute MUST if you hope to find anything good on Eshop.
Recent Releases -> Deals -> Wishlist
That's the only way to properly use the eshop. Speaking from 4 years of experience
My Top Requested Improvements for Switch Eshop: 🛒
**None of these are likely to happen anytime soon, but
... Wun can only hope. 🎮
@TryToBeHopeful the statement was the website was free. It isn't.
@Burning_Spear he’s right though, that’s so annoying.
@DumbElder were you being factually pedantic for fun or did you think you were enlightening him to the realities of capitalism?
A lot of people reading your comment would think you were saying he was selling your information on game purchases / wish lists etc.
I've used PSPrices for years (for all systems). I combine that with eshop-prices.com to find which region has the game cheapest.
Eh, I use the Nintendo.com website to buy digital games most of the time. Not much of a problem for me to be honest
@TryToBeHopeful he is. It's just indirect.
Yeah the switch eshop is just so plain and slow
Deku deals has basically replaced the great deals tab for me personally
@DumbElder sounds like defamation but by all means, dig in. Thanks for not answering my questions. Buh bye.
if it wasnt for deku deals and yt id never buy anything from eshop as its a fffffffffffffffffffffffff s%$^%$t show
@Burning_Spear You can remove wishlist items from your actual wishlist but for some reason you can add to wishlist but not remove from the actual eshop listings.
@wuntyme8 "Notifications (this game in your Wishlist just went on Sale, Sale is ending)"
I get these, though only through email and only when the sale begins.
What is data source for the site? Its grab of games from Nintendo site or Nintendo has some API for it or are added manually? Thanks.
I love Deku Deals. I used to go to Nintendo’s site to purchase games since they’ve added that feature, but several years ago, they changed their format to be a scrolling method, which is by definition more unorganized than the previous page method. It’s proven to be a more profitable method, since it asks users to look at every game to find what they’re looking for, but its less snappy as well, not to mention, scrolling through games eventually leads to a terrible slowdown until your browser either can’t handle it any more, or just stops loading in the middle of your search.
And not only does Deku Deals have the better format, alongside quick links of every way you can purchase preactically any game, but it also tracks the best deal throughout the game’s life. Its a real godsend for shoppers. I’m happy to be a supporter of Deku Deals on Patreon. Michael does incredible work for where Nintendo has chosen to go backwards on.
A bit of a non sequitur, but I just noticed the eshop has a 'short and sweet' feature and for some reason they added Super Mario Maker 2 to the list. Deku lists it as 8-16 hours which is not short and sweet. Also... looks at my 280 hour playtime. Do you not know your own games Nintendo?
I love Deku Deaos. Especially the sales history graphs
Also I keep forgetting about Echoes of the Eye! I need to play that
@FishyS Maybe the idea is it's easy to have short play sessions? Definitely not the idea of the category though
I just wanted to say thank you to Michael for putting his site together. It has helped me quite a bit over the years and I truly appreciate what he as done for video game sales for those of us on tighter budgets.
Is it possible to sort the eshop so that you don't see mobile ports?
Thank you for Deku Deals. It's amazing!
The eshop has been a complete mess, and it's impossible to find anything in the sea of shovelware they have on the eshop considering the very limited options we have available.
The eshop via the Switch is terrible, eshop via internet browser on a computer is tolerable but still a bit rubbish in terms of sifting through dross. Deku Deals is a fabulous website and I wish him all the best in continuing to support it going forward.
‘I’ve had to put a lot of work into making my automated tools handle these types of situations (when I would much rather spend my time building user-facing features).‘
Your hard work on this is recognise by some, myself included. I have always been very impressed by the functionality of this site.
Thanks for the hard work!
Deku deals is amazing. Absolutely love this site - look at it at least every second day. Love that I can see the same game across Xbox and switch now too.
Love Deku Deals. Great effort.
DekuDeals for Switch, IsThereAnyDeal for PC. If it weren't for these two sites I'd be bankrupt. 😄
Deku Deals is game changing (no pun intended).
@TryToBeHopeful no problem. If you got any more question don't hesitate to ask. I don't mind. (:
@Gwynbleidd well I’m fairly sure he edited his post but it’s not like I take screenshots (and I could be wrong).
Nothing is free, but this is free as in free beer and no one loses out by viewing ads or him getting money off affiliate links.
The point is does it cost you anything to use, and it doesn’t. Sites like Facebook do profit off your data. This site is a tool that the guy wanted to use for himself and obviously had ads to cover his time and server costs. And there’s three options to avoid personalised ads. So there’s absolutely nothing to point out to anyone happy that the site is free.
Anyway, the good thing about the obvious? You don’t have to state it.
@TryToBeHopeful
I turned off my ad blocker for Deku Deals (and Nintendo Life) out of respect for the content and services that the site brings me, and because the ads that are there are hardly annoying and obtrusive. Since I'm not making manual monetary donations, i's literally the least you could do as a way of saying thanks.
@burninmylight I try to do the same except where the ads are so resource hungry or intrusive that they actually ruin the viewing experience. NintendoLife’s are actually ok…
@TryToBeHopeful I didn't edit my posts. Why do you say that?
@DumbElder my mistake I thought you had initially written something that you later wrote in another comment.
Deku Deals is a one man project???? That’s insane; I use that website very frequently and it’s been incredibly useful in finding deals for games (as advertised, lol). It’s a genuinely amazing site.
@Angelic_Lapras_King I prefer the 3ds eshop actually. It was much more organized and had more personality with its music. It had entire sections for genre, demos in a neat way which madei t easy to look for games I might be interested in and to keep track with games on the way.
The nintendo switch eshop feels lifeless and its cluttered with garbage.
Maybe if Nintendo hadn't allowed anyone and everyone to put thousands of garbage games that aren't worthy of an app store or Steam listing on the eShop, there would be a semblance of navigability. The eShop makes the Wii's infamous mountain of shovelware look like an anthill. Both this and their lack of interest in refining the eShop's menus mirrors their approach to online functionality this generation, including the absurd price spike for the recent SO "expansion".
It's a good thing that Nintendo at least still makes (mostly) great videogames, because their approach toward their customers and their once-touted "Nintendo Seal of Quality" with regard to expectations from third parties all got flushed down the toilet when the new guard came in. They've become far less likeable as a company than they were in the days of Iwata and Reggie.
Too much crap on the eshop. And always on offer
@DumbElder I wouldn't expect people to take it so personal for you stating what happens with any "free" site, but here we are. If a site or service is free to use, you are the product - plain and simple.
I love deku deals been using it for awhile now, its the only place i go to shop read and track my wishlist and collection and see what's on sale, invaluable asset! Been also enjoying the PlayStation integration, cool to see side by side when thinking about how low a price may go eventually on a game in both stores ( like borderlands) Keep up the good work!
"the eShop is just wayyy too slow."
Switch's eShop is just...bad...in general. I miss the Wii U's and 3DS's eShops. Not only did it not take an eternity to go to a page, they had personality.
eshop is painfully slow from the console itself! So i've been searching and buying games from nintendo website T_T
Much faster and easy navigation
@Curbie anybody can make a mistake but I agree with you, there is no reason to get wound up over a banal comment.
Think we can all agree Deku Deals is a nice site and a good addition to the internet.
Switch's entire UI is terrible, particularly after coming off of the Wii U/3DS UI wins.
No way to organize software; unintuitive social profile and friend management; an eShop seemingly designed by people who know nothing about how people actually shop (e.g., no shopping cart; awkward account management; clunky interface)...
It's just amazing that, back in 2017, when every other game studio got UI right (even XBOX), Nintendo continued to get it SO wrong.
checked Deku Deals and it's kinda more sloppy then the eShop tbh
maybe Deku Deals scanning the eshop all day is making it slow?
@Gwynbleidd I don't like flipping between multiple accounts but if there is a Japan exclusive that I want, translated to English, I might just have to.
Dekudeals is so much easier to use than the Nintendo website or the eShop on the switch. I wish there was a filter that easily removed the shovelware games like "chill panda" or "Santa tracker", generic, thoughtless probably mobile games. These games swamp the eShop.
@CodyMKW theres a mobile app for Nintendo eShop it's better
searching for good deals on the switch eshop is just as efficient as using the NSO app for voice chats. at this point theyre both a lost cause and we're better off finding better means elsewhere. still annoying how bare minimum nintendos efforts are
For anyone who hasn't tried Deku Deals, it's an absolute godsend for using the Eshop. You can make lists to track, lists of games you own, it has links to metacritic, how long to finish, you name it. It's an amazing site.
@Kieroni @FishyS For Mario Maker 2 being labelled short and sweet, I assume that simply refers to the Story Mode in game, as that's really the only thing you can properly "beat."
In a similar vein, roguelites and Warriors titles tend to have lower "how long to beat" values when just talking about main objectives, yet many people can play those for upwards of thousands of hours
Dont know who it was but i would like to thank the guy that told me about Dekudeals last week in another thread. Such a great site.
I knew about Camel Camel. I knew about browsing the eshop in the browser. I knew about Nintendeal. I did not however know about Deku Deals.
This is a game changer for me.
I agree, the eshop is awkwardly slow to browse. I think it’s the way it’s caching things or something… anyway, I’m liking how I can see what’s on sale easily. Yes, Nintendo’s site does the same but… Deku Deals has that additional “lowest price” or “same as previous low price” stuff. I like when someone yells BUY NOW! to me
Damn, I didn't know abou tthis site. It's so much faster than the eShop, which is frankly a joke.
The only thing missing is screenshots.
@Gwynbleidd I wonder if that's because HK's eShop is set up differently.
Last I checked, the HK eShop works like the Korean eShop in that you cannot buy games directly from the Switch. You buy the game from the PC/phone browser, get a redeem code, and punch that redeem code into your Switch. And it so hapens that the Korean eShop is not on DekuDeals either.
You have to search for the name exactly or it won't really help you.
I have this guy's website on my favorites bar if that tells you anything. He has one of the most convenient websites around when looking for Nintendo Switch deals.
fiat is a pace rather inconvenient to keep, yet the only pace that civilization will remember.
@UsurperKing although the world record speed run for smm2 story mode is a bit less than 2 hours, the expected time is like 5-6 hours. A lot of the other 'short and sweet' category games have 2-3 hours expected gameplay and rediculously short speedruns. I think Nintendo is just abusing their own eshop categories to advertise a Nintendo game. XD
Best site ever for deals. I visit it multiple times a day. Probably responsible for more money leaving my wallet for games than anything else lol while at the same time saving me money.
Pro Tip: he best way to browse the Nintendo eShop is by NOT using the main page. Instead, go to "search" then go all the way down and select "other search filters." This takes you to a secondary home page that is MUCH faster to browse the opening home page.
P.S. Deku Deals still doesn't show Publisher discounts the are the deepest discounts on the eShop. For example, a game might be on sale for 35% off on Deku Deals but on the eShop the Publisher will offer a 90% discount to those who own otherr games by said Publisher. Plus 2-1 for one deals and bundles seemed to get missed by Deku Deals.
By far the switch eshop is the worst digital platform to shop. Slow as molasses, always locking up every 10 seconds, it’s complete torture. And the weekly 1000+ games on sale is just ridiculous to even try & navigate when you get a long way down and the eshop goes blank, resets itself and forces you back to the top of the sales list to start over again?? You think it would put you back where you were?? Ughhh!! Makes me power up my Series X instead, easily the most convenient & easiest to navigate of the 3 console digital shops 🤬😡 Hell even the Wii U eshop has a better layout than the switch shop!
Thanks for creating Deku Deals! It is an amazing site and my go to place to find out about game sales.
@Burning_Spear the Wii eshop sucked because Pac Man was $5 and Ms. Pac Man was $20.
I know that has nothing to do with UX or UI but I hold this truth to be self-evident
@GannonBanned Ms. Pac-Man was not on the Wii. You could play it if you had the GameCube port, but it was not released specifically for the Wii.
Wonderful website, I use it daily for years. I just hope the website would keep track of which games as a physical version or not, so I could invest only in games who can't be found on physical.
@Burning_Spear it was on the Virtual Console tho
Thanks for the interview - I use & rely on Michael's site a tonne. So many terrific features, and I've found and purchased so many great - and sale priced! - games that I would have never have even heard of if I relied solely on the eSop. Perhaps the obvious question overlooked by the interview - what is Deku?
I didn't know Deku Deals. Signed up and bookmarked it. Thanks
Thanks for the heads up and interview.
I can do without music, but I want to be able to scroll through my whole wishlist without the shop crashing please.
i used the eshop wishlist for sometime until i discovered that eshop actually has a limit to amount of titles one can wishlist!
for a person with 684 titles in the collection and 484 titles in the wishlist, dekudeals was a lifesaver in all regards, and works super fast, thank you!
especially useful for filtering best rated titles with discounts
Great site for sure, but I think the larger issue is all the shovelware on everyone's shop. From PC to Xbox to Switch, we've been swamped with garbage games. It really doesn't matter where you game, they exist and outnumber everything lol. I don't know if there is anything that can be done outside of filtering options but with 100s of games coming out monthly now it gets harder to find the good ones and I know I am missing some but I don't have the time to filter down into that abyss.
@BionicDodo I used to use psprices, but found dekudeals better for direct links to metacritic and howlongtobeat. Allows me to quickly see if a game is worthwhile.
Plus, by the time i found out you can sort by ending soonest on psprices i'd already switched to dekudeals for that exact sort.
@Jeff2sayshi Makes sense. I don't use any of these sites to actually find games, just to create a wishlist of games I know I want and then get email updates when they go on sale. So PSPrices does everything I need and covers all the different consoles I have.
It never stops being true 😂… and it never will 😭
I like the Deku Deals site a lot, as a collector I use it daily to find games on my wishlist and I like the way of excluding games you've already added to your library. As far as the eshop goes I think Nintendo are stuck. I wondered if the reason it hasn't evolved much is memory restrictions because it can be loaded while a game is still running, keeping the memory footprint low so the game can stay frozen in RAM. We may never see an overhaul even if/when the pro comes along with more RAM as it'll have to continue to run on current Switch's
Deku spoils you on a good few QoL features once you use it, but let's be honest here - chances are I wouldn't START using it if not for eShop's limit on wishlist items.😆
@Curbie " If a site or service is free to use, you are the product - plain and simple."
And that is something a lot of people forget, it is scary how many people I know that take "free" services like Facebook or "insert name" zillion "free" smartphone games their kids play.
They do not realise why it is "free", there is nothing wrong with being the product as long you know what you are getting into it.
Meanwhile 90% of people online think "Ah cool it's free!" without stopping for a second why it is "free".
It's like signing a contract without reading it.
I still prefer the eshop over sony and ms’s storefronts. They all need work.
They've obviously never used the PS3 store 🤣
@Angelic_Lapras_King FR People that think the Switch eShop store is slow shows they never used Nintendo’s previous store/s
@Ocaz And after awhile, you’ll notice patterns with certain developers/publisher’s games (ala Ubisoft)
Deku Deals is amazing! I wouldn’t know where to start without it.
I’ve spent a fortune as a consequence though. Nintendo ought to be sending this guy a certain percentage of all their sales…
Switch eshop Is the absolute worst experience ever! Just trying to navigate either the recent releases or the “Great Deals” is about impossible! The absolute worst part is when the screen goes blank and forces you back up to the top of the list again! That’s insane!! And the snails pace Almost makes me question my own internet speed!!
I love this site. Just spent an hour or two adding in my collection and wishlist. Scratched my OCD itch nicely. Can’t think of anything I would change about it. Nintendo should hire the designer as their store webmaster.
Brilliant site. It has saved me a fortune and helped me discover games I would never have known about.
@Royalbluesm,
Get your Switch sold, they go for awesome money on E-bay.
Slow and steady wins the race so yeah I do agree the shop is too slow but Nintendo is winning the sales figures this holiday season. Also that Membrane game on the eShop that used to be $250 is now $2.50. It was just a mistake, someone just forgot the decimal between the 2 and the 5.
https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2021/11/random-this-usd10-nintendo-switch-eshop-game-has-suddenly-shot-up-to-a-whopping-usd250
https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/membrane-switch
I never liked Deku Deals. psprices.com is way better for Switch.
@Meteoroid No shop on any console ever were any good.
Shops sucks on Xbox and PS too.
If people think Switch shop is slow, they never tried shop on PS4.
PS4/PS5 have the worst console store ever.
Actually I think Xbox has the best store out there out of all of them. They are all either slow or lack filtering features ( well they all lack filtering options). It is always best to find the deals on the net over the shops even for steam and epic sales.
Can't believe I only now found out about deku deals. I'm definitely going to be using this place a lot from now on.
The eShop on Wii U is fantastic. The eShop on 3DS is also really good. Even the Wii Shop Channel and DSi shop was far better and more engaging than the eShop on Switch. The eShop on Switch SUCKS!!!
This can't be a legitimate problem. Looking for specific deals is quite easy. I wanted smelter. I checked to see if it was on sale, bought it when it was. Wasn't hard at all.
