Its so easy that I will continue to emulate Nintendo games on my PC, phone, and tablet and play gba games on my 3ds.. I would have no problem buying older games if they actually let us...rather than pay a subscription to rent older games
@bonjong23 i was feeling that it felt a little bit simpler than scott pilgrim...wish I could block or we had more than 1 button to mainly mash..or more combos to unlock
Grew up on the first couple generations before i stopped until shield.. looking at these names tho show how lazy they got with naming them...two half words semi describing it became the norm for alot of these..play on words almost like thrown into a name generator or picking words out of a hat and combining them..hmm taco...ninjafox...Beeftrox
@SpaceboyScreams I don't think it is... there are many a slow news days and this site itself has many polls and ranking articles just for the heck of it, it's something worth doing ..a patched score or revisited score..as some games are not at all what they were at launch like no mans sky
@sfb I've seen some of those, and I respect them for it as I've bought games later than launch after I've seen they are reviewed much higher than the initial release.. and there are quite a lot... here's hoping alan wake gets patched up to a decent level to make it worth it
So technical issues can be patched hopefully... probably a higher score than 7...i really wish websites would update reviews as games get future patches... metacritic is full of switch games with low scores at launch due to technical issues and later the game plays better and sometimes the user reviews will say so but I wish major sites like this one would go back to reviews post patches
@Dom_31 ehh i think the game is decent but not fantastic...while its entertaining and funny and exploring is fun but the gameplay is pretty tedious, combat is underwhelming, and not being able to be the other guardians is a missed opportunity... But the story is worth playing for...which sadly lot of games recently don't have worthwhile stories
Damn you dlc ..been waiting on a decent sale on the dlc packs... Feels silly buying "skins" but it's Star Wars I suppose, played thru a couple episodes and find the game to be a bit repetitive and tedious, hopefully will go back eventually
Agree with ocarina of time scaring 10 year old me...also playing silent hill is still memorable even though we never got that far into it, Nothing ever gave me nightmares though...maybe metal gear solid 2 as I got older I pondered about the real world similarities as I grew up, makes me think to this day...
Cod doesnt take much to run at 60fps, even on an xbox 1s it manages to be playable, and on a lower powered gaming laptop i can easily get over 90-100 fps with everything still set to high will dlss, a decent version on switch shouldn't be any problem even with all the poor optimization and slow loading from all the damn skins... If they can build a warzone for mobile from the ground up they can make a version that works well on switch no problem
@Guile the Wiiu was just giant version of the DS and 3ds.. the second screen mainly used for map and item management stuff...so the main screen isn't as cluttered which is the only plus for those games.. performance wise not necessarily.. playing on just the wiiu screen comes with lag from streaming... The switch is a far superior successor
I picked up a wii u a couple years ago for around $100 mainly for the zelda remasters, do yourself a favor and mod it, its easy to do just need patience and get a copy of botw back it up to an sd card and play it on cemu on PC (if you can)... The absolute best way to enjoy it with 4k graphics, unlocked frame rates, mods like unbreakable weapons and unlimited stamina 😀
I like the wario of the wario land games...and best thing about this entire article is the offset eyes drawn on him in the initial description of him...golden
Still waiting for my damn copy from Amazon...its changed its release date like 4 times, was supposed to get it tomorrow but its pushed back till next week....😥
@Koffyman i felt that way about the first one until i played it and was pleasantly surprised.. they definitely love mario and I'd say its less of a cash grab than any of new super mario bros games which were garbage
@Moistnado haha they sound like the same ones, and mine have been holding up pretty great and the gyro works flawlessly, my split pads mostly collect dust now
I like my split pads and like my chinese joycons off Amazon even more since they're similarly sized to split pads but are wireless with rumble and gyro .. $60 for these controllers with less features than their wired counterparts...seems a bit steep
Forest temple theme, Ocarina of Time.. unfair question but I remember walking thru those twisty hallways as a brand new older link as a kid the possibilities of what came next but also feeling braver and more powerful, its something that gives me chills but all good Nintendo music is like brain crack... Tiny short melodies that repeated over and over but it never overstayed even after hearing them on loop hundreds of times... That takes talent
@sleepinglion I feel because of that direct competition to the switch that we will eventually get a more powerful version to atleast catch up to anything released on last gen systems without struggling
@westman98 i like Chris Pratt but yea I'll agree his voice is a little bit of a letdown but I guess they're gonna try to pull him away from his very outdated Italian American voice...tho I do miss new yorker Mario
I can see people getting upset, because it is lame, however these days since i have so many digital games and my physical game boxes sit empty ( since i keep them in a portable case) I welcome collecting some physical boxes to make my digital purchase not feel so..vapid, would I buy an empty box or case by itself? No, but I'll take one for free...likes best buy's steelbooks if that's all they are willing to do... Thank goodness for companies like Limited Run Games to help fill the gap a wee bit
Looks a little choppy, i remember the same amount of praise when talking about doom eternal or witcher 3... apex legends... Looks similar to how outer worlds looks and plays on switch... A little barren and ugly but looks decent.... Hopefully its not too bad because I've been thinking about jumping in for a couple years now, switch feels like a good home for a game like this
Been trying to play Skyrim for 10 years and get about an hour in..stop playing for a few years and restart and repeat... I just re-bought the damn game a month ago on switch so what the hell is that copy worth now.. Will the upgrade make me finally play it? Is it worth it to a newbie?
Im a contractor in sales and have no rights rules or anything really but I make good money and knew going in what the terms were. I support better protection and whatnot in the gaming industry because there is alot of this type of abuse but honestly that was dumb on his part, work place politics will always matter, which is why some people pull ahead and others don't, as much as things change you can't change people and being a people person will always get you further if climbing the corporate ladder is your thing.. I personally hate it all and started my own business. Corporations suck and Nintendo is a corporation
Been waiting to play this for awhile and waiting for it to come to switch, not a big fan of dark souls personally but i do love thoughtful combat just why do these games need to copy everything..the stamina bar, the having to reclaim your body, save points...why can't we just have the combat... Anyways ill check this out eventually 😀
If someone hasn't played Zelda I'd recommend whichever one appeals to them or can get ahold of... depending on if its a "gamer" of not I'm not gonna sit here and recommend nes games but more likely the latest (and greatest imo) botw.
