The reasons why it would run fine on switch is one...they are already building a mobile port, apex came to mobile and it looks great and runs great, as does Fortnite, Also on PC you can already play in 720p if you so wish... Getting it to run at 60fps and having a low resolution is totally possible on the current switch with some optimisation of course but its not a demanding game .. i get around 90-100fps with everything on high and ultra at 1080p on a laptop that has a rtx2060 max q... Cod is not demanding

Used to play lot during the 360 era and stopped for years until mw2019 and have been regularly playing on PC and PS since, they are making warzone mobile and if they can do that they can easily make a decent switch version... Here's hoping thats sooner than later as the switch truly lacks in decent tactical shooters .. nothing else compares with the customization of guns and tight moment to moment gameplay

Not sure why people expected so much more we got a lot of things that should be good for the mario games and universe going forward... hopefully Peach won't be as useless as she has been for decades, I'm glad they're ditching the overly Italian accents...a couple decades outta date, Mario and Luigi have a family! Screw wario and waluigi, so lame and one dimensional. Dk's world and Mushroom Kingdom part of the same world...that could be interesting, and most importantly the movie looked inventive and beautiful... something that's been lacking from Mario games for the last 2 decades (except Odyssey)..same ol primary color schemes and boring worlds, here's hoping future Mario games look as attractive as they did in the movie and voice acting wouldn't hurt either... Feels like some of the things in the movie were a test to see what changes audiences would be okay with to keep the games fresh

Movie was pretty great I'd say an 8 atleast and thats from a mario fan of 30 plus years... You guys had waaay too high of expectations here... Especially when you generally score Nintendo 1st party games higher than they deserve for the majority of them 6 is a pretty pathetic score

Had drift on my first switch joycons..traded up for the longer battery version and then again for the oled... I usually use alternative joycons but mine haven't drifted yet... Haven't had an issue for years now... My pro controller on the other hand the left stick just grinds, should probably replace the stick soon

This feels the same as botw but with more tools inspired by the whole community's playing around with the physics of botw and all they did was just give us more sandbox tools .. little disappointing... Already have and oled and its amazing, won't double dip but those joycons and pro controller look cool...does the system itself have something on the back of it? Or just the dock and joycons?

@Paraka i feel that works well for older generations but ps4 and onward digital usually makes more sense, especially since I game on PC alot its all digital only and you don't see the same type of arguments only with consoles, but then again I have multiple storefronts to shop from not being limited like on console you get the eshop or the PlayStation store or worse of them all the Microsoft store... one per platform where competition is non existent and it's them pocketing all the money

@Paraka i can't think of a single game thats on a physical disc that doesn't need a download... while i still buy some games physical on switch I all but stopped on playstation since the discs are just an inconvenience to check that I own the game, and on switch I sometimes struggle with what I want to play and game hop a bit and its when my physical games aren't nearby I want to play them haha

@Vil agreed, books are reprinted over and over, movies are updated and brought into modern formats, music same thing...but gaming for some reason is like held with such greed where they will hold back because they don't want to spend the money...like Rockstar has left its entire library behind just so they can continue to milk gta online

@Vil yea I agree for the most part its awesome playing my wiiu games on my PC, I mainly support emulation because of the games, if Nintendo opened up a steam style shop and let me buy older games to play on anything and not have to rebuy games on multiple systems..like super mario bros 3, I'd be all over that, find it purposeless to spend all this money on older unsupported systems especially since nothing lasts forever. Nintendo is greedy with their IPs because of fear of people not buying brand new games which is untrue, I personally have spent more on switch games than i have on playstation or PC but if you're not gonna let me play Paper Mario 1000 year door in an accessible way I'll gladly emulate it, because at the end of the day its about the games

@Vil yea you can homebrew the 3ds really easily and just download the entire library for free...not saying its right but its definitely easy haha

Ugh the fact GTA never stops selling is what ruined Rockstar...greed over art, cool to see a harry potter game on top, never thought that would happen, loved Ragnarok glad its still selling and being experienced, and ugh mario kart 8... doesn't everyone own it yet? Its placement on the charts for the entirety of the switch guarantees we'll never see mario kart 9 on the current Switch...those added tracks say so, cod needs more updates, sucks we wont have it for 2 years like previously promised since a new one will be out later this year, and yay for Metroid Prime, hopefully they'll release the whole trilogy

The switch version just doesn't have the same feel as melee which is the best smash of all time, i do appreciate the amount of stuff in ultimate but i can't seem to spend any time actually playing...not like the few hundred hours put into melee back in the day, also brawl belongs where it does as the worst smash

I thought the point of speedrunning was to go fast thru games? Also is he using a cheat at the end? Not an impressive accomplishment, but impressive the amount of hours spent doing something so empty and repetitive, like getting the highest score in games of yesterday, so glad gaming has come such a long way

I think i remember refunding this on steam, the controls are too complicated and not fun might as well learn how to skate for real, the graphics and locations are very dull and boring. Its not a game but a skateboard simulator

And 2017 was not the best year... The switch library was lacking immensely... pretty much only had two games to play...even if they are the best games in both series, it wasn't until 2019 they started to beef up the eshop

I dont know if getting two decent Nintendo games a year is enough to give any year a best year vote... Totally didnt mention any ports or indies that have released over the years since the majority of my switch library is made up of those, not gonna count mario sports or party games as main Nintendo games

Looks like the main baddie from Donkey Kong country but solving crimes and mysteries, i feel point and click games are better suited for mobile rather than consoles, some reason I can't get myself to play thru them on switch

I may check this out only because the art and aesthetics, I wont play games like devil may cry or Bayonetta because i hate the ugly art style and UI that feels 20 plus years out of date, not to mention the cheesy characters that feel like they were created in the late 90s

I had the super scope growing up, there's nothing quite the same as Yoshi's safari, one of two games I owned the other was the super scope game... if they even made any others I don't know haha, I remember when Yoshi's island came out it was so bizarre compared to what we were used to with Mario, and Yoshi's story was unique too if not a little too short and too easy

@Nintendo_Thumb the file size for mw2 and and warzone 2 is peanuts compared to the 150 plus gb for warzone 1 and mw.. i think its something like 60-70 gb

It shouldn't be a celebration for things to work as should, though I'm happy for these games to exist on switch, but it would be nice not having to quit games to mess with the filters or options, and maybe it would be nice to be able to remap controls like every other free emulator out there
