While the game looks cool, but the lack of originality with these indie games they are usually so obvious with their inspirations..gameplay..style... Why not make something completely original like dead cells or katana zero

Any game that lets you turn the dead zone to zero pretty much shows drift on all my controllers from my ps4 and ps5 controllers to xbox 1 and series x controller , my pro controller has beat up worn out sticks that squeak, seems to be almost inevitable with any controller using the industry standard stick modules.. i barely use my joycons and am on my third set and third switch (upgraded twice), im very interested in checking this controller out

@Dingelhopper calm down bud, happiness is found in many ways some fleeting some lasting, but life is not the pursuit of it, nor will collecting every pikachu varient in existence fill the hole in her heart. If you can't handle differing opinions, on what some would call kinda sad rather than joyful, maybe you should stay off the internet

I follow a simpsons collector's page and I can only think of where the hell do they get the money and why .. its a little sad but i guess people need a reason to live even if its incredibly superficial, I'm happy when people get to live out their dreams since so many just trudge thru life waiting to die

It depends... If im picking it up after everyones played it and its been out for awhile it doesnt bother me, if it's something i want ill avoid the budget one or even try for a collectors edition. If im trying to pick it up years later like a generation or 2 ill go for the cheapest one if thats all i can get

While I'd love one now, i remember when they came out and it was the opposite of anything anyone wanted... Ds and psp made it look like an archaic children's toy...and by that time was sick of gba games

I own both on wiiu and have them on my pc and i have the originals on my phone and tablet, but yet I'd still buy it on switch again....damn you Nintendo..dammn youuuu

Starfox 64 was perfect, always wanted to play adventures, ...bought the wiiu one played it for an hour and never went back ..it just felt... off

Snake eater has a special place in my heart .. but playing on 3ds is not ideal... Not worth it for clunky controls or blurry visuals and poor performance.. better off playing it on ps3 or 360 or on emulators on PC

Only my first pair of joycons got drift have since upgraded my switch twice.. i imagine my last pair and current pair of joycons haven't gotten drift because I barely use them...since i use my binboks or splitpads in handheld...but my pro controller right stick has definitely been worn down as it is quite squeaky

This game was barely passable when it released, not sure it's gotten any better in the last decade since...

I usually will start where a series most resembles what I already enjoy.. or where it makes sense... Been struggling with metroid series and how to approach it before playing dread.. i have played the gba games when i was in highschool but never beaten them... I fear playing the latest two entries before super Metroid so i don't taint the mechanics by going backwards... Been wanting to try out the yakuza series... since they have a refreshed 0 prequel might as well start there.. i always take it a game by game series by series basis...like for example i always tell people when they want to play uncharted to start with 2 first then 3 then 1 then 4 and lost legacy... Only play 1 if you really need more uncharted but before you play the ps4 games... Ive always wanted to play final fantasy...i do have the remake but i know i should play 7 and 9 probably...and maybe some of the other ones 1st before playing the remake... So for me it really goes by where does it make sense.... I jumped into fire emblem finally on switch because it made sense to me and it seemed like a good place to start even though everyone talks about awakening on 3ds... And some series you can jump in anywhere and have a good time like any of the mario games for every system since forever

@sleepinglion yep playing botw on my pc is pretty much the best way to play it...insane framerates at a way higher resolution...also mods make it fun too... unbreakable weapons and unlimited stamina for the win

Gamepass cloud streaming is not good enough for competitive games...playing halo infinite on cloud puts you at a disadvantage with lag... Gamepass makes sense for xbox owners but not for anyone else... I don't need to try out games before i buy them , I also rather buy them straight out then just rent them, and many of those games you can get incredibly cheap or have been free on PC.. but it is a much better offering than switch online expansion pack

Had the opportunity to pick up samus returns for $20 like 3 years ago, decided to wait and missed out since its been $40 or more since, but since my 3ds is homebrewed i was able to copy my friends copy to mine to play before i play Dread.... Yes I support emulation... These games will be available to play in some form... I'm all for game preservation and emulation to keep classics alive since game companies do a pretty crappy job of it. Nintendo fears it will eat into their profits...psh... I've paid for botw twice once one switch and once on wiiu so i can play a far superior version on my PC, the best 3ds games will live on, unfortunately some will be lost forever but I'm not about to overspend on wiiu and 3ds games for them to finally re-release games on switch...(looking at you metroid prime trilogy)

I dont see why any of these carts can't be functional as well... Throw in my wooden copy of mario bros 3 when i wanna show the kids what it was like back in the day

I got super Mario world and a snes when i was 5 ... Took a few years but unlocked everything multiple times... Really not that hard to do.. feels a bit like bloat

Honestly I'd be happy if the switch can hit a consistent 720p with 60fps in handheld and 1080 with 60fps im docked .. for every game on the platform... Frames over resolution any day....damn you PC gaming you've made me into a monster!

A couple bucks worth of games like 2-3 times a year vs my ps plus giving me games worth $20-60
every month...

The 3d is a nice effect and opens up game worlds in new ways but i almost never use it... Makes me feel like my brain is gonna explode

@P-Man if mario got a timeline, we would question if he was a good enough hero when the timeline shows bowser stealing peach 40 times

Action....gameplay? I may need to play more kirby games because the last 20 years every time i tried to play one I got bored instantly because of the simplicity in gameplay, and moveset or lack in challenge....i grew up on kirby superstar and every game since has felt like a letdown in some way... Tried the new demo feels promising but also a yawn of a game of just going through the motions

Kirby superstar is the peak of kirby greatness....every game since then has been a let down in comparison

Hmm perhaps i might check it out finally... Need a decent competitive shooter on switch...apex is sooo blurry

6 bucks is a bit overpriced for what looks like a mobile experience, a buck might be too much

@WhiteTrashGuy i do the same thing with some games i really want to collect but also want the convenience of digital...

Mobile gaming does suck for the most part,( i dont play free to play or free games) but there are good premium games that are found on PC and console that are ported over which are fine with a controller..some even without...also being able to play GameCube and ps2 games on my phone or tablet is pretty sweet ...been playing paper mario 1000 year door on my phone and its pretty great

That's unfortunate to keep hearing this, i only recently finally started playing the first ori game

@pip_muzz i agree...I find the game to be alright but the damn soundtrack gets stuck in my head

Katana zero definitely, dead cells has great themes, like the shop theme, Night in the Woods has an incredible soundtrack, like the dream sequence with the different instruments that you add one by one, and the constellations song, Persona Strikers with the Persona5 soundtrack...and i agree with much of the above Undertale's ruins theme...does something to my heart

Still holding out, hoping one day we can buy them separately (probably not going to happen) but until they add another system or 2 don't see the point in paying $30 extra a year for a handful of n64 games...dont care for megadrive or the animal crossing dlc... I'll buy the mario kart dlc outright.... I'm glad people are enjoying the expansion pass for those who committed to it, I still feel Nintendo can do better

Dang drops below 30 on handheld makes me not want to pick it up, the only reason to get it on switch rather than anywhere else for these old games which are routinely less than 5 on PC and stupid cheap on ps4..

@DanijoEX yep... People so want to escape the world rather than find ways to make it better... Metaverse worlds or whatever will further seperate people from one another as people get more and more awkward, isolated and lose how to interact socially in person...you already see it in a lot of people especially the younger generation
