@MarioBrickLayer don't hold back just pick it up, even just the main game without the dlcs is fantastic and forver replayable since they have also continued to add free dlc dor years
2 biomes...kinda like every other dlc update, i wish they would add more complexity to the combat...charge up moves, down strikes and perhaps new powers to unlock
I know this is a Nintendo list..but the halo 2 opener i mean come on one of the greatest riffs of all time...also that Donkey Kong Country track was featured in a Childish Gambino song... When I first heard it I was like where the hell do i know this from?!
In multiplayer its not about stopping and aiming but straffing in circles with the c buttons filling them with lead...also xbox (unreleased and on pc) remaster did a great job of remapping the controls i wonder if they've mapped em the same
@Doctor-Moo the constant talking of characters with no ability to skip made it a slog and i quit playing...i really wanted to like it but i hated the characters and hearing every little thought they had to say
Dang no love for Dead Cells, or Katana Zero.. eastward while gorgeous was a huge disappointment, probably more than owlboy and to the moon was a letdown too with its simple gameplay cheap graphics and lame story, but you got some greats on there with hyper light zero and shredders revenge
Never thought fire emblem had a big following...was surprised to see two of them come to switch so close together before other more popular games.... picked up 3 houses forever ago never got past an hour and tried to go back but probably will have to wait after persona 5 royal...and then Zelda Dos..
Ive only bought 3 snake from smash, golden shovel knight which I sold to my buddy and the one for skyward sword that comes with some cool features...too bad I've not gotten around to playing it too much yet... Also i have a 22 nfc card set to use in breath of the wild... If ammibos had more function I'd probably pick some up but i already have many funkos all over so I'm generally not collecting amibo
I want the same concept but just more powerful, better performance for my library, I hope to not start over as I'll just pass on the next system and continue to enjoy playing on PC and PlayStation,
Hmm the first one I've ever played was 3 on my buddys ol ps3 i bought off of him .. loved the concept even though I'm not a big fan of jrpgs... Got thru about 20 hours of persona 5 on ps4 and waited for royal...to come to switch which it did and am about 40 hours in... Can't decide if I'll give 3 a shot or jump into 4.. but i figure i might be at this until Zelda comes out in may and that will halt everything except the occasional game on mw2, but stoked for these 3 Persona games finally being on switch
I dunno, I thought it was decent I upgraded to a switch oled with its screen size and gorgeous screen it feels like how I should of been playing switch all along since I mostly play in handheld sans split screen multiplayer, also grabbing persona 5 and a gobload more of indies this year switch was fine....I get my next gen fix on PC and PlayStation so It's not too shabby when you got 3+ platforms to keep up with... Great era to be a gamer!😀
That's a shame, golf story was one of my first switch games back in 2018 (when i was done playing botw) and while the humor and gameplay was mostly on par.. i only probably got halfway thru and never went back, it did get a bit tedious trying to complete objectives to move forward.... hopefully they patch this one up nicely... mario tennis on the gba was a cool concept with it's story mode for a topdown sports title... which is something i enjoyed being reminded of when i played golf story
Also call of duty would run fine on switch if they actually tried since its practically the same bs graphics and engine since the original modern warfare on 360
Theres a handful of games that I'd feel would make the switch complete... I was super happy for persona 5, still waiting on the arkham games, gta..meh not so much anymore but I'd want it just for single player, waiting for the two Zelda ports from GameCube, Metroid prime trilogy, metal gear solid and some older rockstar games like the warriors, bully, and max payne 3 (not gonna happen ever tho) would be great
@wuntyme8 been saying that forever... Nintendo should just have a storefront like Steam put everything on there and let people play it on Nintendo systems or PC or whatever, but give us access to Nintendo's legacy, people would definitely pay... I'd for one don't wanna have to rebuy super mario bros 3 for every single system they re-release it on...buy it once play it forever .. because the alternative is I'll just get them for free on emulators if Nintendo doesn't have a reasonable system in place for older games... Switch online sucks... Playing botw on PC is leagues above playing it on switch
Nintendo can do whatever it wants, it's so stupidly easy to homebrew a 3ds( and wiiu), and get everything ever released on the eshop forever ..(free too) if they actually set up a store front like Steam for legacy content they can continue to make money for a long time... but it's Nintendo,
@roboshort mgs4 is never leaving the ps3 unless they rebuild the game, and they haven't done that yet as an entire console generation has come and gone
Honestly Twin Snakes is the definitive way to play the first Metal Gear Solid, and the 3ds version of Snake Eater is the worst way to play the best mgs
Lets see... Switch for 2023 excited for Zelda .. here's hoping but probably wont come next year because of the botw sequel but wind waker ported it would be nice to see the arkham collection on switch and the metroid prime trilogy, and perhaps a new mario game would be nice other than that... Most of my switch wishlist has been fulfilled.. especially since persona 5 royal.. oh and the hades sequel looks great...and still waiting on the Katana Zero dlc
Pokemon came out when I was like 10... It used to upset me Ash would never get anywhere on his journey to be the best... forever sidetracked and team rocket seemed to be in every episode...glad I didn't stick by for what would take 25 years haha
Havent played elden ring yet, hope to get to it eventually, not usually a big from software fan as dark souls is maddening tough and repetitive and grim and ugly but elden ring looks gorgeous even if the game still looks like it plays all stiff with lots of clipping and awkward movements like a ps3 game but the sense of discovery and awe looks great
I feel I'd have more respect for these types of games if they were atleast created with the limitations of whatever hardware they are trying to "capture" we had those graphics because we had to not because we wanted to, I can understand wanting to do things for the aesthetics but why make the game play like crap too
Was I the only one who found to the moon to be a letdown? Boring gameplay with a mediocre story about a selfish man wanting to do an eternal sunshine rather than face his grief and he gets his way... where's the growth?
The wiiu stood no chance because it didn't offer anything to pull gamers back who went to ps3 and 360 during the wii days when they focused on casuals, so when it released it was easy to dismiss as a baby toy, the switch on the otherhand is an elegant machine offering up full console games to take on the go plus incredible third party support, easy decision to come back to Nintendo...do i feel i missed out for like 12 years? Eh not really maybe a handful of must play games at most
Wow port city.. assassin's creed 3 was a great game, the last one where the future narrative actually mattered, but yes black flag was better in every way
Holy crap, just watched a little bit of that video and man do they need to send it back and spend some more time tuning it.. the pop up and ugly textures, jaggy frame rates... hopefully they patch it or I'll just check out Arceus instead
I enjoyed shield.. first playthrough of a pokemon game since the first couple, and I only dabbled in the last like 15 years. I beat shield around 40 hours and sold it, felt done... Been thinking about this one, but been so tired of lackluster quality in open world games.. theres no reason for this far in Pokemon's legacy they can't make a technically sound game .. they made wonderful games on previous systems. Hire the freaking talent and make a world worthy of the anime, and quit making a baby game every year because children play your game, Mario never had to sacrifice on that front and humor its audience, pokemon shouldn't either
