@AndyVGR because so many games run subpar and even more so as we're into another console generation... Nintendo doesnt put out enough first party titles to justify us playing only those which are usually optimized pretty well for their hardware, 3rd party games on the other hand we always get the blurrier slower fps version with long load times, it would be nice to have a portable system that can keep up, especially now as the market fills with powerful portable gaming pcs
@Picola-Wicola im excited for you, I love my oled and really makes the switch feel like a premium product... I play mostly in handheld too and it's totally worth the upgrade 😀
@Anti-Matter right because gameboy advance sp wasnt a thing neither was new Nintendo 3ds... It can very well he called switch plus switch advanced switch pro or most likely the least expected generic name
If its gonna be as powerful as a ps4 there should be no issue getting better performance for say ports like witcher 3 and here's hoping there's no excuse to bring games like call of duty over. Nintendo first party will continue to utilize their hardware like always but it would be nice to not get such downgraded ports... even though thats a guarantee as we get deeper into current gen as they drop off last gen versions
@ndunsmo, i really wanted to play bug fables but it seemed too much like paper mario, my thing is why do these games copy like the style and UI and the way power points work... I wouldn't mind the style if the gameplay was unique or I wouldn't mind the gameplay being the same if the style was unique but they copy both, I agree with Nintendo not giving fans what they asked for so we get fan games but it seems like there are far too few games who have their own identity... example guacamelee is a metroidvania but the moment to moment gameplay is so different I can appreciate the nostalgia nods and also enjoy it for what it is because the world pulls me in, bug fables makes me want to just play paper mario because it looks stylistically similar and plays similar. Here's hoping they do give us a proper paper mario sequel to the first two games🙂
Ehh i dont think it looks that much like metroid dread , kind of concerned about the 3 in 1 gameplay...each in their own parallel universe sounds like replaying the same map with 3 different skins on...at least the gameplay looks great... platformers with 2 button gameplay just can't keep my attention anymore but this looks like it can be great
Haven't played a basketball ball game in years I wanna pick this up just for the Jordan mode.. probably not on switch though, I'd pick up madden if it ever came to switch finally
Been wondering about this the second i saw the name.. instinctly i pronounced it teers of the kingdom and I can see it being tares of the kingdom...since ya know hyrule is kinda torn up, but then again ..everyone is kinda sad about it, taking it back to Tears of the Kingdom
@SpaceboyScreams I was mostly disappointed too.. learning about a Zelda game thats more than half a year away doesn't really make it a sweet direct...was hoping for ports for this fall..
Was really looking forward to the Zelda, batman, and Metroid prime ports... Glad to see tunic finally come to switch, and maybe finally a reason to get the switch online expansion pack... i mean theres no other way to get in on that online mario party and goldeneye fun
Eww gross, the game industry eats too many member berries, just like the movie industry with all its reboots and reimaginings... We're choked with zeldalikes, metroidlikes, and probably the 3rd paper mario inspired game this year to come across this site
@Snatcher like everyone would, but they are so slow to catch on and greedy with their ips...which is understandable because of big business but honestly at this point Nintendo should have like a steam like service where I can buy a game once and play it on multiple platforms..so I don't have to buy mario 3 on every single system again and again, they have the ability and library to support that.. until then i will emulate the crap outta their games until they give me a fair way to access legacy content... I love being able to take breath of the wild from my wii u with save data and play it on my PC...if Nintendo wont do it others will figure out a way which has been proven time and time again
Had to read it in their voices..not even on purpose but it just came out that way in my head haha... NA because its a badass drawing of Snake almost picked the European one
Played it on steam and returned it. It was a bit barebones and plain and the controls were a bit convoluted for realism sake i suppose.. even on "skate" mode, that was over a year ago. The video makes it look cool hopefully it's gotten better
@GrailUK I played 3 when I was in highschool probably a couple years after it came out and the story and feelings I had playing that game have stuck with me far longer and affected me deeply more than any game I can remember playing since, not sure how it will hold up depending on the remaster since the controls are a bit dated
@Andee I've been holding off on spiritfarer I really like the art style, the world and concept but I hear gameplay wise its just conversations and repetitive tasks .. even though I really liked forager and that game was repetitive but I easily put in 30 hours over a week or so until i bought all the land and found there was nothing to really do or work towards in the endgame
Hmm the dialogue may make it a no for me. I really, really wanted to play thru Eastward but long boring endless conversations, about characters i don't care about, were just too much for me to explore the world.
I like my split pads but i like my binbok Chinese joycons too since they are similar to the split pads but have gyro, rumble and wireless capabilities so i use those since i mostly play my switch oled in handheld
@sethharris1191 yes its a parody it pays homage to its source material, not unlike this game, i get it you were hurt and offended so you needed to defend your game,
@the_beaver tunic has been on my wishlist since I've seen it, the combat looks great and different enough to set it self apart, Ill look into Baldo thanks for the suggestion!
So tired of these zeldalikes with no identity of their own.. makes me just want to play the original...like how spaceballs while good just makes me want to watch star wars
Hopefully its decent.. tried ghostrunner on switch which was absolute garbage compared to PC .. without having to play with ray tracing or anything... I see alot of people really like their gyro controls in shooters on switch... I feel using that makes me lazy and a worse shooter in games like COD so i tend to not use them on switch and I use joy con alternatives which are closer to the split pad pro so i have full joysticks, anyways this game seems right up my alley I'll have to check it out
My brother got this game when he got a GameCube and I got a guitar, and we both absolutely played the crap outta mario sunshine..... one thing tho how were you in highschool in 2002 and 32 now? I'm 33 now and didnt start highschool until 2003 unless you're talking about British schools or something
Probably the original super mario or marios bros 3 on nes, my first system was a snes with mario world when i was 5, my dad mostly played as my younger brother and I sucked and it would be a couple years before we can get past world 1
Thats a lazy excuse our beef with the Russians has not affected our media in like 50 years...anyways it would be pointless, the goldeneye remaster on xbox 360 is online and free and plays pretty decently on the xenia emulator with being able to swap back and forth on the visuals like on Halo in the mcc with modernized (as far as possible) controls on a xbox controller
Havent really cared for nba games since like ps2 but will always be interested in picking up jordan editions.. grew up watching the bulls win in the late 90s, since i am from Chicago, MJ will always be the goat
