I have Bit.Trip Saga but wouldn't mind getting them on Switch. Maybe not Core though. Beats from all sides of the screen was way too much for me.

It got that rating for gambling games (e.g. Texas Hold em).

Well if they can't port the RE games, why not make new ones with the Switch in mind like they're doing with Rise.

Been playing Mario games since I started gaming and can't see myself stopping. Just so many great games featuring Mario!

I had a few RC cars that could only turn right so I usually had more fun just moving them around with my hands as a kid.

Nice that you dug into Before Mario for this. The blog is a great read for Nintendo fans. Lots of fascinating stuff on there.

I use the soundtrack feature in games pretty much all the time when they're available. Listen to Smash's tracks through the Switch frequently and I can see myself doing the same with this.

I think everything should be available through the in game shop (barring a vehicle used for a charity fundraiser and the PS exclusive retro skins). It's a grind to get everything from the store though, unless you play online regularly or pay for in game currency.

Experience does not equal grinding and the Paper Mario games basically prevented it anyway by reducing the experience gain from weaker enemies as you levelled up.

Would be cool if we could all get stuff like that but y'know, cheaper. Looks like the soundtrack is piano arrangements which would be pretty cool. I own the original soundtracks for these games but having piano remixes of them would be great.

I'd been thinking a Theatrhythm KH would be great. It being a KH rhythm game is close enough.

The stuff with Kairi is also interesting so they didn't just make a KH rhythm game and call it a day.

The question on Kirby is incorrect. He has a cameo in Arcana for the SNES which released one month before Kirby's Dream Land.

Namco still owns Ms. Pac-Man but AtGames managed to buy royalty rights for it from people who had it originally. So while Namco could still use it, they'd have to pay AtGames which they don't want to do.

That demaster of Championship Edition sounds interesting.

Meanwhile, a certain other Square Enix series with a playable character has zilch for spirits.

It would be nice to play RE on a console that doesn't sound like it's getting ready for take off.

RE2 was great but trying to listen for Mr X's footsteps over the sound of the console was a pain.

It's 92% off on the Australian eshop and I'm willing to bet there are more regions included in the sale.

Got the game because of the sale and have been having fun with it. It is very charming.

There are three Marios. Mario Mario and Luigi Mario.

FFX was my first FF. If it was a little less linear, it would probably be my favourite. That currently goes to VI.

You can turn off auto and select all your moves yourself.
If you were avoiding enemy encounters, it's no wonder you found the game grindy. I played the games beating just about everything I came across and never once had to grind. Items that inflict status elements were also plentiful in explorers and they pretty much removed the threat of higher level enemies.

A delay everywhere or just in the dungeons? Because if it's the latter it might be because everything in the dungeons is turn based, even movement which constitutes a turn.

Only Ty game I have is the third one, so I guess I'll keep me eye on this.

I don't think that would even hold all my N64 games.

With Crystalis on this and the SNK collection, I wonder if other publishers will start putting games on these services, even if they are part of collections already on Switch.

Anyway, something interesting about the artwork. There's a character hidden behind the Mario statue. You can see a robotic hand.

I'm not sure multiplatform will mean anything. Publishers often file for a multiplatform rating to save having to file again should they rerelease the game later on. For instance, Nintendo always goes for a multiplatform rating.

What an incredible 20 years it's been. Played each Smash game for hundreds of hours and Ultimate's quickly made it's way to my most played Switch game. Can't wait to see who the remaining DLC characters are!
