To everyone who didn't like the English acting/accents in Xenoblade on Wii,
I used to live on a planetoid made from the bodies of two great titans locked in eternal battle and the inhabitants spoke exactly like they do in Xenoblade so I think Monolith did a fantastic job..

I thought the English cast of Xenoblade was some of the better voice acting out there but I'm worried the authentic English accents will be replaced with that abomination of a cockney accent from Bayonetta 2. The best I've heard recently was Lego City.

If gamepad as classic controller support is being included in certain games then why can't they do this for N64 games?

Also, there's a GameCube controller adapter which currently supports 1 game. Why can't they put GC games out there?

What I want to know is; are there actually going to be any decent gifts to use my 6600 stars on? I've been holding out for something like the SNES Controller for the Wii but so far there's nothing I would ever want.

I want to upgrade all my old Wiimotes but Nintendo have maintained the ridiculous prices from 2006.

I like the fact there will be gamepad use, not too pleased that all the early releases are Wiimote controlled.

I just gave Nintendo a piece of my mind while registering 4 games. I suggest every paying customer put their complaints and wishlists in the text boxes on the club nintendo product registrations page

I don't want them to abandon Wii U before they've made some games that make sense such as 1080 Snowboarding with the Fit Board, Battalion Wars 3 (with gamepad squad commands) and Eternal Darkness 2 (with gamepad spell casting and sanity effects)!!!

With the Wii and DS, they said there would be interesting cross compatibility. Other than unlocking exclusive content, there wasn't really any. With the Wii U and 3DS, they said there would be interesting cross compatibility. There have been a few games that interact well if you own both. With its current usage, the gamepad should have never been made and the 3DS should have been designed to handle their asymmetric play ideas.

I hope their next duo are a console with a RAM, CPU and GPU that are as good as high end PC hardware is now and a Gameboy 2 which looks a bit like a Wii U gamepad but has an optional 4G smartphone model. Make the console capable of having 4-8 handhelds connect at once without lag. I hope they keep the Wii Remote alive but actually make some decent games rather than half efforts like Wii Sports Club and Nintendoland.

Seriously Nintendo, forget GBA for a while and concentrate on N64 games.

Does anyone remember Nintendo saying that they were looking at other HD remakes beyond WWHD?

Old school difficulty was all about making a 20 minute game last longer. In the arcades, the aim of the difficulty was to force you into spending all of your money. There's so many cheaap shots in old Capcom arcade games that are clearly thrown in as guaranteed player-deaths.

@WaveyChristmas I think it depends on whether they played it when they were young.
I was shocked at how good I was at Megaman 1 & 2 on VC (which I had on NES) and how bad I was at 3.

I can't believe they don't fully expect these appalling sales figures. I've never seen more than one advert for any given Wii U game and I've never seen one at a time that potential buyers would be watching TV. The only console/games I've ever seen advertised heavily by Nintendo was the Wii.

They should give Uwe Boll $100,000,000 and make it a spiritual sequel to Rampage 2 except the guy on a rampage is Mario.

Used Wii and GC games from CeX normally have the points cards in them unscratched. They expire though so the only games worth trying are late Wii games.

Go Mario Kart! I knew you were a better seller than Smash. Now let Sakurai make the next MK so we get the most comprehensive MK ever. 32 tracks for £50 is a little bit steep! I think The 30 Million people who bought MKW would have earned MK8 better marketing and development budgets.

Why are people complaining that someone wants fill an obvious gap in the Wii U library?

At least wait for proof that it's not very good before criticising it.

It's handy if you can wrap the six games you'd need to buy with it.

I buy lots of dirt cheap (£1-£5) Wii and Gamecube games from CeX and most of them still have unused points. Unfortunately they're rarely still valid.

I thought it had been or would be quietly cancelled but the information in this seems a bit iffy so maybe it will be a Wii U game one day. I think it will more likely end up a 3DS game.

Someone needs to make an infographic of how to market a console before, during and immediately after launch. This is nice and everything but all Nintendo can do to make big sales over Xmas is lots of TV and Newspaper adverts aimed at parents and gamers. If they carried on the Wii adverts but just changed the games being played and the logo, they'd sell more Wii Us than they will this Xmas.

Loads of people in the UK would buy a Redknapp family endorsed MK8 box for £200. I just don't get why they've never properly advertised it.

I might pick something up in January if they don't shift all their stock by then. I have a nephew and niece who deserve quality games.

GAME in Orpington seemed to have plenty of everything on Friday. (except Drive Club PS4 bundles)

There's nothing wrong with putting safety first but this reminds me of being told that looking at screens all day would damage my eyesight. I'm 32 and still haven't stopped spending too much time in front of screens and my eyesight is absolutely fine.

I still haven't seen any footage of WD that looks like it has a worse frame rate than Lego City.

I thought the adventure games were pretty bad as a teenager and I don't remember many fans amongst my fellow Dreamcast owners. I sometimes think it's only because Sega have plumbed new depths almost annually with worse, slightly broken games that the adventure games are remembered so fondly. Hopefully the abysmal sales of this game will deter Sega from all this Sonic abuse and make them consider revisiting IP that might actually translate well into a modern game.

I still have no idea what my preferred set-up is for MK8. I think I settled on a small selection of vehicles on MKW pretty quickly but MK8 seems to have many more subtle and incremental differences. I still haven't even scratched the surface with the game. It's a good thing that Nintendo give us 5 years to learn everything.

I expected worse. Now I'm surprised they wouldn't show any of this in advance. If I wait long enough this will be £6 to download.

We're getting SNES Rainbow Road. I'm satisfied.

@damo a Sega track pack without the Lancia Delta and Sega Rally tracks is sacrilege.

TV ads might not be as effective as they used to be but it's no coincidence that the top selling console of 2014 is the one which had blanket TV advertising on the popular channels. It's also no coincidence that Nintendo's best ever generation for hardware sales was their most heavily advertised on TV. The weird thing is that the Wii campaign with famous families playing Wii games would have been perfect for showing off Nintendoland back in 2012.
