I just want a release of Sim City on SNES on Wii U.

They’ve filed Eternal Darkness a couple of times in recent years and it has led to nothing.

I would love a new game in the series though! It seems stupid they didn’t make one with the Balance Board

He might be right but the Wii was very successful for some 3rd parties. Do people think there'd be annual FIFA, dance games etc. if they weren't selling.

It obviously didn't do that well for a number of high profile companies that invested decent money in certain games.

It's unknown territory with the Switch, we've never had Nintendo focused on 1 console

I think F-Zero GX was the closest thing to a good 3D Sonic the Hedgehog game that Sega have ever made.

I remember seeing this and Pang for £200 each in my local Terry's Video store next to the £1000 NeoGeo.

Maybe the next game will do to BotW what LttP did to LoZ i.e Darkworld, more items and more dungeons.

It would take every track in the history of the franchise for me to want to buy MK8 twice

Battle mode hasn't interested me since the N64. I don't think I can justify MK8D unless there's 32 new racing tracks

My local Game had 4 in stock. Had to pay full price for BotW on Wii U because of Amazon's failure to deliver

Can't justify buying this until they make a decent value pro controller. It will cost almost £200 on top of the Switch to play this properly with 2 players

@ThomasBW84 is the Wii U version a bit juddery like ACIV or is it horrible like the pre-update Lego City U was?

It will take some serious performance issues to make me wait til I can afford a Switch but I will be gutted if the Wii U version is a stuttery mess like Lego City was...

@gatorboi352 im not buying early due to money and lack of a hands down, must-own exclusive game. Wii U had problems but I justified the launch day price with the amount of fun I got out of it.

I'm quietly confident in Switch to get decent year one and lifetime support, the optimistic side of me has noticed Switch advertising on relevant tv programs which never happened with Wii U. I'm not saying Switch is going to suddenly become the smash hit Nintendo need but it's definitely looking better than Wii U in terms of coverage and public perception. I'm not expecting a massive hit but I'm expecting a reasonably well supported console. If all Nintendo games for the next 5 years are on Switch, that can't be a bad thing.

My dilemma is whether to wait til I can afford a Switch or Wii U it. The Wii U version might have frame rate issues.

Nintendo actually marketing the product was always going to have a better reception than their Wii U stealth marketing campaign

Once again, I find myself at a Nintendo console launch where I can't afford what I want. Not sure whether to Wii U this game or whether to wait.

To all the people thinking UK is dead to Nintendo, this simply isn't true. Nintendo want back the Wii and DS levels of success in the U.K. They just didn't want to spend the money it would have cost them to improve Wii U's fortunes when 3DS was already costing big money to stay afloat.

That just conjured Colony 9 and Gaur Plains music in my mind
