I thought this was announced as a mobile game already.

Quite why they never put the Wii games on VC is beyond me.

Just give us the full 1st party VC and get a Saturn and Dreamcast VC ready for Switch

They did this a few years back and it amounted to nothing. I've still got the original. I would love a sequel or a remake.

I like the game and the price is high but not insane. £4.99 would have been closer to the sweet spot.

The funny thing is that Nintendo probably won't even reveal the tech specs properly in January!

It's weird that we live in an age where a celebrity gaming show would probably work quite well but most attempts have been dreadful. Dara O'Brian's show was particularly painful to watch.

I want to see premier league stars battle on FIFA, Andy McNab vs Chris Ryan on CoD and Bear Grylls vs Ed Stafford playing Resi.

It looked really nice but it didn't really show much. I'm leaning towards the Switch version now though

Almost as much as I worry about what the portability will do for cpu performance. The Wii U had impressive energy efficiency but that led to poor load times and a weak console. I just can't see the switch being much better performance than Wii U because it is ultimately a handheld.

I worry that I won't ever take it into the toilet because it would take too long to change the joycons

I enjoyed Tropical Freeze (haven't finished it yet) but it was a bit soon after DKCR and I'd like to think Retro are working on something brand new

I was expecting Lego city style problems but this is just the same as any game these days. I'll reserve judgement til I play the real thing. I wasn't too bothered by frame rate in any Wii U games except Lego and ACIV and this looks miles better.

@ShadJV I do have time for Tingle but he is better saved as a surprise than a big reveal.

I think we all just want to be reassured that there's more to the game than just the demo and that the world is filled with fun things to do.

I think the thing we all want to see most is some life to go with the breath. Twilight Princess had a huge world but most of it was empty. This looks so big that it will still look sparse, even if they put the most side quests, npcs and dungeons ever in it. I've got a feeling they'll pad this game out well because they've got Monolith helping and their games actually make me want to waste time.
Still not sure whether to Wii U, Switch or double dip.

They'll get slaughtered if they make a massive world without any massive dungeons and towns. I hope the all new footage isnt confirmation of Tingle

D:DoC was so cruelly underrated. It had a couple of iffy levels but the shooting and saving people was fun. It was also very well produced for a Wii game

I think 3rd parties are much happier that Nintendo have all their eggs in one basket this time. Wii U got subtly mothballed immediately after launch while they poured resources into 3DS. They can't do that to the switch.

It's done so many things wrong that it's always going to be a failure but weirdly it's probably my most time spent playing of all consoles. I put that down to being able to play SNES games in my lap. So much wasted potential though.

This might be controversial but in some ways I think this console had the weakest 1st party line up of all Nintendo's consoles. I loved it but the top games weren't quite as good, there wasn't enough variety and they never fully showed what the gamepad could do.

Why did nobody make a Batallion Wars game with gamepad used to flick through your squad and a battlefieldesque fps on screen?

I agree that this, 1080, Pilotwings and maybe a Top Gear sequel should be bundled into one game because they're not quite enough to satisfy the modern gamer on their own.

It deserved to sell more but it also deserved to be the lowest selling Nintendo console.

I've got nearly all those games on Wii U so this isn't for me. A SNES or N64 mini might be more of my cup of tea ☕️

I'm pretty sure hardware reveals always damage share price because profits get hit by the cost of manufacturing.

It was never told implemented that well by Nintendo aside of a few games so I won't miss it but I'll always rue the missed potential

Surely the simple economics of the situation is that:
New Hardware = Initial cash outlay and losses
Therefore investors don't want a piece. Didn't PS4 cause an initial dip in Sony's price?

Its completely dependent on the game. I want a smooth frame rate as standard, 60fps for fighting, shooting and driving. I just hope NX has a decent port of GTAVI
