I'm all over this. I have wonderboy the dragons trap on the master system and the switch remake, Monster boy on physical import from the US, which is a great love letter to the franchise, and the wonderboy collection on the xbox 360 which includes WB IV. I'm hyped!

I Pre ordered the game with the origami sheets and have been playing it with my daughter. Loving it so far, The Thousand Year Door has always been the series highlight for me and no entry has come close to that so far in my opinion so i was sceptical to say the least, but I have been pleasantly surprised. So far it seems to have the perfect balance of great level design, comedy storytelling, turn based battles and rpg elements (even if it's not as rpg heavy as PM2) The only downside is I can't play it unless my 4 year old daughter is with me as she won't let me haha 😅

Man i miss my Amiga 600. Cannon Fodder, speedball 2 and gods were stone cold classics. This shooter looks ok, but not sure I'm eager to get it based on my Amiga nostalgia alone.

I'm loving my island life, it has been helping me get through lockdown. I'm probably 150 hours into the game and haven't done any terraforming yet, just going with the flow. 😁

I still own and use mine, I've even adapted a universal game case for it to fit and designed a custom cover for it. I love how the gameboy version of donkey kong has a border like an old arcade cabinet when using it. Great bit of kit.

Love games like this, I also love the Ff tactics series as well as things like Advance wars so looking forward to this!

I won't be getting it as I own the wii version and the N3DS version. Paying for the same game 3 times just stings a bit too much. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I was lucky enough to visit Japan for 3 weeks in 2011 just after the Tsunami hit and loved every second of it. This is just one more reason for me to go back again. 😍

I pre ordered the collectors edition majoras mask on the 3ds that came with the lovely steelbook shown above, but the european box art had a massive age rating in green that took up half the box! Shame as you can see from the NA version the artwork is really nice.

That is seriously impressive work and surprisingly satisfying to watch! How he gets details on things as small as the fence is crazy!

I loved playing this in the Arcades as a kid, along with street fighter 2 and final fight this gives me proper old school feels 😎

This weekend I'll be playing the witcher 3 at last after really enjoying the Netflix series, dead cells, steamworld dig and Monster boy and the cursed kingdom 😎

I already owned Mana spark but i think it's been a great little promotion. I've enjoyed most of the games to be honest but I have had the most fun with mana spark, wrecking ball adventure and race die run so far. Thanks Qubic games merry Christmas! 🎄🎁

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love my Wiiu it's a cracking console and it still gets played regularly. I now own a switch too but I have invested over 200 hrs in breath of the wild alone so won't be shelling out another 50 quid for the same game. The switch owes a lot to the wiiu for most of its 1st party games are wiiu ports or updates. I actually think the wiiu gamepad is nicely made and surprisingly comfortable for it's size. I wish people would stop referring to it as 'ill fated' or badly timed as i for one will be playing mine long into the future. Long live the WiiU! 💙

@spike6958 you have to go into settings within each app and uncheck the tick box that says 'show controls ' under where you choose the screen size

@Mortenb to add some context, the show usually featured members of the general public taking part in these challenges and Dave was one of the industry experts that would give commentary etc. during their performance. The fact that he probably felt he lost credibility due to losing on tv might have made him feel like he had to leave. i hope that helps?

I remember watching Gamesmaster back in the day including this episode. I was proud to say that I went to college with a couple of twin brothers who were pros at street fighter 2 and they actually won both the golden joystick from gamesmaster and the jackets from games world. Always found Dominic Diamond pretty annoying and was sad when Dave left the show.

@moroboshi876 that's a good question. Being in the arcade was certainly part of the experience, one that i am sad has died out nowadays - but the dream was always to be able to play these types of games at home only technology wasn't up to it until about the SNES / Megadrive era. once that became possible it triggered the death of the arcade as we knew it. 😭

As a retro collector I already own 4 of the 5 games listed so will have to see if the rest of the line up warrants the price tag. it is damn cute though!

@gcunit hahah i also have a super stable n3ds xl but when i played it it was on my wobbly old original 3ds. seem to remember the 3d effect wasn't up to par with other games of the time though but it could just be my terrible eyes that are to blame 😂

I loved super monkey ball 1 and 2 (apart from monkey target 2 which was an abomination). the 3ds one gave me a migraine as the 3d effect was awful, the wii balance board one was a bit naff and the adventure style game was a bit odd. Original monkey target is to me the ultimate local multiplayer game to this day.

I have the original okami on ps2 as well as okami den on ds, and have been collecting vinyl since about 1998 so this should be a no-brainer for me but my current budget won't stretch to the 65 quid price tag 😪 man that limited edition is so pretty though!! ...... sigh.

this is crazy that they'd charge for a free demo?? just had a thought though maybe they need to have a price assigned to it to list it, as in it wouldn't appear on their site if it was zero value?
