Here we are at the end of yet another week, and what a busy few days we've had. There have been all sorts of Animal Crossing cloud save shenanigans, the Wonderful 101 Kickstarter, and plenty more besides, but now it's finally time to take a breather.
Members of the Nintendo Life team have gathered below to share our weekend gaming plans and we'd love for you to get involved via the poll and comment sections below. Enjoy!

All the recent The Wonderful 101 hype made me finally stick the poor original in my Wii U for its very first outing this week. You see, I actually received the game as a present years ago but I never found the time to play it. So far I'm a little mixed; there are certain elements that are super-cool, especially with the different powers you start to unlock as you play, but I can't help but feel that I have absolutely no idea how to effectively fight and I think that's dampening my enjoyment somewhat.
I'll see how I get on with it a little more this weekend while dipping in and out of Mario Kart 64. I managed to snag a lovely boxed copy in the week so I've been having the odd race or two each evening. #TeamYoshi

Last week I intended to crack into To The Moon but in the end I didn’t get around to it, so there’s that. I also picked up Sky Rogue for 50% off, so I’m eager to take off into some beautiful blue skies. And while browsing the games on sale I stumbled on Back To Bed, a surreal little puzzle game which I couldn’t resist picking up for a few coins, so I’m intrigued to see what that’s about, too. Perhaps that impulse purchase was my subconscious trying to tell me something…

Very excited to see DAEMON X MACHINA being unleashed onto the PC crowd. I will continue my campaign on the Switch but I will surely double dip down the line just for the sake of 60fps, high-resolution texture bliss. SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays continues to consume my life with my production line currently offering 200+ different mobile suits and mobile armours to pick and mix. Only current top-secret work commissions will keep me from progressing more efficiently into both titles during this weekend.
My game of the week is KUNAI. Imagine a Metroidvania where you’re playing Bionic Commando... but with two ropes instead of one. Genius! Ingenious!

In the run-up to the Final Fantasy VII remake, I've gone back to play the original game on Switch yet again. Everything about it, from the visuals to the soundtrack, makes me feel more nostalgic than perhaps any other game! Certain aspects certainly haven't aged very well, but I'm having an absolute blast with it.
I'm also still plodding away on Stardew Valley, but I have to admit that my excitement for the upcoming Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection has meant that I've gone back to play every single Mega Man game currently available on Switch!
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave a vote in the poll above and a comment below with your gaming choices over the next few days...

Streets of Rouge for me.
The Grisaia Trilogy and Groove Coaster.
This week I will be mostly playing
Yooka-Laylee
Pokémon Pearl
Mario Kart 64 ( Team Weeg)
Smash Bros ( original)
Zelda Majora's mask ( original)
F Zero X
Waverace 64
And whatever other of my N64 games takes my fancy
I got my hands on a Retrokin Admiral and a Retro-bit Tribube 64, so I am in the mood for the N64
Fire Emblem for GBA. I became a fan only after Three Houses. Been putting off trying the originals due to all the descriptions of them being 'hard'. Finally did so in anticipation of the new DLC. Turns out I had confused the terms hard and frustrating. Finding the permanent death mechanism to be a good motivation to redo battles and to do them right.
More Luigi's Mansion 3, just done the film director and left him alone to edit his film, an absolutely brilliant stage. I picked up Pokemon Sword, which is my first since X and Y and its pretty good so far, I'm also returning to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as I never got very far for whatever reason but have time to play it now
Probably The Witcher 3, trying to retrieve all of the 12730 smugglers' caches scattered all over the Skellige seas, trying not to get rammed in and knocked over by random whales spawning right under my boat.
Ni no Kuni as my main game as all week I’ve been blasting through Luigi’s Mansion 3.
Also I picked up Goetia on the e-shop last week when it was for sale so I will also start that.
Final Fantasy 7 on Switch. That turbo mode is a godsend. Finished disc 2 in about 19 hours. When I finish FF7 I'm going to replay The Last of Us in preparation for the sequel.
It's Blasphemous for me this weekend. Absolutely beautiful pixel art and music. Good sound design too. Up there with Axiom Verge and Hollow Knight.
Wargroove DLC for me!
I've finally started The Witcher 3, I'm about 12 hours in and absolutely loving it. I'll be playing that and Rocket League mostly and perhaps a few rounds of Splatoon 2.
@InAnotherCastle Have you tried Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valentia on 3DS? Highly recommended if you like the old GBA titles.
Zombie Army 4 on Xbox One, Sword & Shield on Switch.
I borrowed Let's Go Pikachu off my sister and have yet to progress past Mt. Moon, so that and probably try and stay in top 5% on Crash Team Racing Nitro Leaderboards. Maybe Mass Effect 2 after that.
@InAnotherCastle That one was my all time favorite game till BoTW blew my mind. It's epic and I feel it's loads better than Three Houses (although 3H is a really great game). Incidentally, I too started a new playthrough of Fire Emblem this week and having a lot of fun with it.
Continuing my Persona 4 Golden oddysee. 44 hours in and I think I might be at the halfway mark. Maybe. Don't rightly know but eager to continue the laughs with the Scrooby gang.
KUNAI, lots of KUNAI for me!
Continuing with the excellent steamworld heist and doing daily tasks on Asphalt, Kirby and Pokemon Shield.
Currently planning to play Asphalt 9 for the Ferrari and daily events, as well as Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games because I'm in the mood for it. Also, been enjoying a PC classic I got on GOG called Magic Carpet, so will be playing that as well.
1 smashbros, 2 Octopath traveler, 3 Sniper elite 3, and wolfenstein youngblood.
Divinity 2 this weekend
Spyro trilogy, and slay the spire
Expecting this weekend to be marked by Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Astral Chain. Already past the former's prologue, and it certainly feels like the most Persona experience Nintendo platforms have got to date (unless I'm mistaken in assuming Persona Q to lean more towards Etrian Odyssey between its parents), including the very immediate mix of the cheerful and the grimdark that I experienced when tasting the first hours of P4G. The FE weapon triangle is a welcome addition to the traditional SMT attack type sheet, the sessions are fun and topical from the outset (although compared to Strange Journey, it's a slight bummer that normal attacks don't activate them regardless of the weapon used - meaning, the combos will always have a mana cost to them), and so far there's been more tangible interaction between the main cast and their mirages than Persona characters may experience throughout their entire games (although, again, I welcome being corrected therein). Considering the latter in particular and all of the rest to sizeable extents, I already feel like I wouldn't even mind Persona 5 waiting until Switch's successor (I mean, I still have four previous games in my backlog anyway) if the alternative were a possible sequel for this game, featuring even more FE folks including new kids like Edelgard. And when you start wishing for a sequel in the first two hours of the game... that says something alright. I expect positive impressions from Astral Chain, too.
Otherwise, it'll probably be bites and chews of Spirit of Justice, Isaac, TWEWY, Sword and the arcade Joe & Mac (grabbed earlier seeing as the console ports are in no hurry to join the CGC shelf). But I've also just made another visit to Fire Emblem Warriors and might linger there for a few more missions as well.
@InAnotherCastle that was my first FE game (and for a while I mistakenly assumed it to be the first overall due to the marketing name hijinks). I did the first campaign but eventually lost my save during the second one - which put my acquaintance with the franchise on hold for several years since I got an urge to start binging it from the beginning and the beginning was still two undertranslated NES/SNES incarnations. I've been courting Shadow Dragon for a while now (proper translation, QoL features like the visible movement grid, and I suspect this is what all the spinoffs I've been playing base the respective character data on), but have yet to start it properly. As for the Blazing Blade, I sure hope to revisit and finish in due time, too. Folks like Lyn, Florina and Serra are already among the FE characters I welcome a chance to meet again in any related game.
I went back to shiny breeding in pokemon shield after a month of playing ps3 games.
This weekend I shall mostly be role-playing as the Dragonborn. 80 hours in; I've now played Skyrim far more than I ever did on 360 - finished it after around 50 hrs the first time!
Probably playing BOTW. I'm on route to my first Divine Beast in Zora Domain. Looking forward to that.
Maybe a bit of Smash Ultimate if I feel it. I have got some demos to play too and thinking of playing Fortnite haven't played it in a while.
I've finished Pokemon Omega Ruby so now deciding whether to start Soul Silver, Platinum, Black or X. I'm tempted to go for X, mainly because it's the newest and I'm kind of working by way through the games backwards.
On Switch I'm 10 hours in to Tokyo Mirage Sessions. It's an amazing game. Like @nhSnork I've already been hoping there might be a sequel at some point.
Got hooked up again on Titan Quest on the Switch … it is addicting!
@ViewtifulJotun Yes I bought it and started it same week as Fire Emblem. It's great. The dungeon gameplay is somewhat of a turn off for me, I'm finding the battles to be what I'm interested in. So the focus is on the GBA game right now.
@San_D Agreed. Three Houses is great, but the original GBA game feels better. Less cluttered.
This is also what I now find least interesting in Three Houses, the whole outside of battle gameplay. It was what eased me into the game though, so it's not something I retrospectively dislike.
I've been switching between Stardew and Cities Skylines. Finally figured out (after much Youtube), that you play Cities as a traffic management system first - BEFORE you start going sim city.
@cmk8 Are you liking asphalt? I am currently playing Grid and loving it, but asphalt looks good. I also don't know if I can play two racing games at the same time.
Rocket League, Grid, Yuri (picked it up on sale and so far it is a fun 2d platformer)
Good call on Mario Kart 64, definitely the best in the series for my money.
I’ll probably be replaying Axelay on Expert again, I’ve been playing it loads lately and have got pretty good at Expert. There will probably also be some Super Mario World and some Mario 64 played (using the optimised build patch).
Gunna play some eShop digital games this weekend..Sublevel zero redux (finally pickedup on sale) /
Exception /sky rogue/hopiko/steredenn
Got three Gigantamax Pokémon this morning and wandered aimlessly around Baldur’s Gate for a bit.
Smash smash! Spirits spirits and more spirits. I play a hour or so now and again and didn't realise had over 500 spirits. To the next 500!👍Pow blam splat!
It's my birthday on Monday, so I'll be having a long weekend. I've already received my gifts early - New Super Lucky's Tale, Link's Awakening and $25 (which I'm going to use to buy an eshop card for the newly released metroidvania, Kunai). Really looking forward to playing these. Think I'll start NSLT first.
I'm 20 hours into Fire Emblem Three Houses. Really taking my time on that Black Eagles campaign, doing plenty of optional battles. It's a nice relaxing time sink when I just need some time to chill with something familiar.
Also beat 2 games this week. I beat Donut County in one session, but what a session it was. It absolutely oozed charm in its game mechanics and writing. I had a smile on my face the whole time, and I really recommend picking it up when it goes on sale for at least 50% off. I would have felt a little ripped paying full price since its light on content, but what it does have is pure gold. I'm waiting for Goose Game to go on sale for the same reason.
I beat Tangle Tower as well, in a semi-coop sense, since my wife sat with me the whole time and experienced the story/helped me solve the puzzles. It was a super engaging game that had us going everywhere and clicking on everything to know as much about the world as possible. The whole thing is fully voice acted, which gives the game so much of its character and charm. My only negative is that the ending was a little unsatisfying and hard to understand, but the journey getting there was an experience we won't ever forget.
@GregamanX
Congratulations, Happy ( early) Birthday.
Playing a little pokemon sword.... But also Persona 5 on ps4. Want to finish it before scramble on the Switch.
For some reason I got bored with luigis mansion 3 and started outlast 2 instead........ it mustn’t have been scary enough 🤷🏻♂️ Also battlefield on pc and maybe doom
Taking a break from DQXI to return to Stardew. I’ve decided to finally decorate my farm so it’s not utter chaos.
@ShaiHulud fantastic game
I'll be playing Tokyo Mirage Sessions. I'm nearing the endgame, hoping to see the credits before the weekend is out!
This weekend I'll be playing the witcher 3 at last after really enjoying the Netflix series, dead cells, steamworld dig and Monster boy and the cursed kingdom 😎
Got Bloodstained on that PS4 retro sale and look forward to checking it out. Been in the mood for a good metroidvania.
Kunai, digging it so far
I have found Stardew so boring after about 5 hours so have deleted. Been playing Yoshi island what an absolute classic fun time x x x x bit of f zero and sonic 1 as well x xx
@dugan hi, yeah enjoying Asphalt thanks, l like the free to play little and often games though I'm not too hot at proper racing games!
I finally got on board the Dragon Quest train with DQX1 and am about 20 hours into it now. I'm already thinking it's one of my favorite RPGs from recent years. With a few very minor quibbles, everything about it is just top notch.
At the moment I'm trying to kill the boss that comes up right after a certain fighting tournament, and holy hell it is brutal. Talk about your sudden difficulty spikes. It wiped out my party with ease last night, I'm about to try it again. Some grinding might be in order.
Aside from DQ, I'm still doing Ring Fit Adventure roughly every other day. It's definitely working for me. My body is ready - for anything. Great game all around.
Probably going to play some other games with my kid, too. We just finished the desert world in Super Monkey Ball BB last night, after being stuck on that boss for weeks. And there will probably be some Luigi's Mansion 3 this weekend.
I beat Tokyo Mirage Sessions last night and I'm keen to finally start on Ni No Kuni which has been in my backlog since it came to Switch.
I'm a huge Ghibli fan but I've been on a bit of an Atlus kick.
Talking of which I might give the Japanese demo of P5S another spin. It's rare a demo makes me want to do that. It'll be an agonising wait for the localisation given it's not even announced yet.
Kunai! And where is the review for the game Nintendolife?
I’m deep into Hive Jump and have been enjoying it very much. Picked up Red Faction for switch yesterday. It was one of my favorite games back on the PS3, and it turns out, I still love breaking stuff.
Hoping to finish Pokemon Sword this weekend. Also playing Yoshi Topsy Turvy on GBA. The GBA SP is such an awesome console, can't quite understand why I like it so much but I just love it.
I've really decided to stick to two games at at time now to chip away at my ever growing backlog..with that said, I'll be continuing my play through as the coolest super hero in South Park in Fractured But Whole, and jumping/swinging through the beautiful world of Unravel2. If I'm feeling saucy, I might play either metroid other m or castlevania Dracula x
Tokyo Mirage Sessions wii u this weekend.
I'm also getting BotW today. I'm new to Zelda, only playing an hour or so of Wind Waker HD last year.
I'll probably play some Stella Glow too. Haven't picked up my 2D'S xl in a while.
On PS4 I'll mostly be playing LEGO Jurassic World, but if time allows I may hook up my PSVR to try out Firewall: Zero Hour.
On Switch I'll likely be jumping into SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy (which I've had for awhile but only started up last night), but may get around to trying out Byleth in Smash too.
@Zuljaras how is Titan Quest running? Wanted to pick it up but was put off by reports of crashes etc.
I'll be playing Enter the Gungeon, Rush Rally 3 and Links Awakening. Have a good weekend!
That beautiful 50% off Spyro for me! And as always, dipping in super mario maker 2 for a couple of endless levels.
Mario Kart 64 has aged like milk. There, I said it.
LONG LIVE SUPER CIRCUIT!
@Kwehst
Atta boy.
Pokemon. That is all
Call of Juarez, new game plus and arcade mode.
Ring Fit Adventure, a few hours a day, about five days a week, difficulty level 30 (max), character level somewhere 220 something.
And when the weather is nice (which it won't be this weekend, according to the local forecast...) outside with my pack of wolves.
Assassins Creed 4 on Switch. My first Assassins game and it’s awesome.
@nhSnork I'm also interested in Shadow Dragon, finding it hard to come by the Fire Emblem games released prior to the 3DS games though
Astral Chain. Makes me realize how bad I am at action games, lol
New Super Luckys Tale (Switch)
Stardew Valley (Switch)
Alliance Alive (Switch)
Atelia Ryza (Ps4)
My Time In Portia (Ps4)
Absolutely loving all of them but so much for sticking to my 'one game at a time'..
Continuing on with SMT 4 (3DS). I think I am getting close to the Endgame, but I keep getting sucked in by the sidequests.
After I finish that, back to wrapping up Sands of Destruction (DS), and starting up Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS) for the 1st time!
i'm officially sucked into Stardew Valley again
Trying to get a Prismatic Shard, which I seemed to stumble across a lot in my last save.
Absolutely no such luck in my current farm.
Dragon Quest VIII on my New Nintendo 2DS XL. It’s fantastic so far.
@Samasaurus I have 2 characters. One is on act 1 in the end and the other is on act 2 in the middle. Not a single crash for now.
I even played before the patches and no crashes there as well.
I'm hoping to get some decent progress in Dragon Quest VIII, but considering I've been playing a lot of Earth Defence Force 5 with my friend, I forsee a lot of that happening.
@AlexSora89
I feel like that about Super Circuit.
Way too damn slippery, both Super cCrcuit and the original control like busted supermarket trolleys.
And the AI in 64 is not nearly as annoying as in later games.
Nor do they spam blue shells.
I have a fairly lazy weekend after a busy week without much gaming; I don't have to go anywhere today (Saturday) at any rate! I'll be continuing my Dragon Quest VIII playthrough (just picked up a beautiful saber cat mount) on 3DS and plan to further refine my Karting skills in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It's possible that I'll get to a new Nindie gem on the Switch this weekend as well, but only time will tell.
Happy gaming! Have a blessed weekend!
1. Time to finish Disco Elysium (before DOOM shows up)
2. Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair (Switch)
Also testing NVIDIA GeForce NOW launch. You can do 3 months for FREE. It basically links your Steam library (with saves) to their cloud RTX Machines to play them anywhere.
No need to buy games again.
Mario Tennis Aces and Link's Awakening for me thus far. See how the rest of the weekend goes.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore
@The-Chosen-one Octopath Traveller for me too. I have chapter 1 stories left for two more characters.
Flowerz (Windows Phone) - This has been mildly entertaining so far.
Briquid Mini (Windows Phone) - The difficulty has spiked big time.
Panzer Geekz (Windows Phone) - Nearly done with this as well.
I'm going to play some good games of Mario Kart 7 online and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe cause I'm in the mood for some good ol fashioned Mario Kart.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore and WarCraft III, but not Reforged.
Filling my dex, doing lots of max raid battles and challenging the battle tower in Pokémon Shield.
If any of you have finished Sword and plan on selling your game, please consider trading me your Zacian. I’ll give it a good home.
I started Hard West but not really feeling it so might put it aside and try again in few weeks or months.
Just a bit of snes mario kart, maybe some splatoon 2. Other than that some physical board games tonight as my bro and his family are up.
Team Sonic Racing,Bloodstained RotN and some Minecraft.
Some Mario Maker 2 and Wargroove. Mainly just waiting for the Fire Emblem DLC next week, while a general Direct would be nice on the 13th for example I can't say I'd mind it happening in March/April now that most of wait for the Fire Emblem DLC is done.
DOOM! Still loving the original game on Switch since the update. My son is flat out with Pokémon Sword, he is absolutely in love with it. Was tidying up earlier and found my copy of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, that was an excellent game.
About 30 hours into new Xenoblade Chronicles playthrough ( Wii U) .
Will put a few hours into Skyrim and BOTW ongoing playthroughs on the side .
For me it's Assassin's Creed 4 keep telling myself to just focus on story then sail past an island and can't resist collecting everything on it. Will also pick up Child of Light while it's ridiculously cheap on the eshop I'll be paying around £2 cash for it. Sadly working a 24 hour shift Sunday so unlikely I will get much gaming time
Finished Gris last night finally, god what a beautiful game. And I’m close to the end on Ori so gonna try to knock that out, another really great game there.
I’ve also gotten the hankering to play Civ 6 so may pop on that. I’ve had the expansion packs since release, but haven’t gotten around to trying em out.
Also hankering to play Graveyard Keeper and its DLC, so that may be my alternate relax game.
Lastly still playing Witcher 3, started in Jan and at 80-90 hours now, and yet still haven’t been through Skellige. 😂 Such a beautiful, dark, and amazing game. I can easily see me playing this the whole year, doing everything in main game and dlc, then all over again with NG+, and still being amazed and happy.
Edit - Almost forgot, near the end of Red Strings Club, which is another really really good game from Devolver (don’t think they make bad games!) so I’m gonna knock that out as well. It’s much like the Coffee game that just got reviewed except with a cyberpunk setting.
A few weeks ago I continued playing the Warframe port and after initial disappointment I'm thoroughly impressed with the improvements to the Switch port. Just got to Saturn yesterday and trying to get a couple rare mods before I move on.
Dragon Ball Heroes
Animal Crossing New Leaf
Mario Kart 7
Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Rocket League
A Hat in Time
Diablo 3
Smash Ultimate
Castlevania II
The Outer Worlds on xbox. Top game.
The Swindle and maybe Thief Simulator!
I actually managed to beat Super Mario World 2 : Yoshi’s Island through the SNES on Switch for the first time ever.
Then i powered through and beat Starlink, basically played as Star Fox and pretended it was a Star Fox game.
Bayonetta 1 and Marvel Alliance 3.
I’ll be finishing up What Remains of Edith Finch and hopefully Wolfenstein the New Order before starting Control on Xbox. If I get some Switch time I’ll try out that Pokémon Dungeon demo or Pokémon Shield.
Rocket League. Almost in platinum for the first time ever. After over 1000 hours I am finally able to consider myself good at the game.
Might try to finish Messenger and 100% King Knight.
Persona 4 Golden. God, I hope Atlus ports this game to something, just so people won't have to buy a Vita for it like I did.
@NotTelevision i didn't realIze you haven't played ritual of the night yet. Even on switch it was one of my favorite games of 2019. And 2019 was stacked. Here's my 1 bit of advice...i don't like having to grind in games to level up. There are 2 bosses that are pretty difficult and I would suggest leveling up for. One is bloodless(if i recall correctly). The other is the final boss who i won't name. But I started out at the final boss at Level 37. After legit 3 full days (2 to 3 hours per day), I finally got tired of getting my @$$ kicked and started grinding which I shouldve done much earlier but I was stubborn. The recommended level I would suggest is 45, as that's what i finally beat the boss at. It's grueling, even at 45. So try to be at 50 if you could. It's by far the hardest boss ive ever faced in a game period.
Worms WMD, World of Goo, Vs. Excitebike, Castlevania, not sure what else. Sister in law is one for my wife’s birthday, and she loves Mario Kart / Mario Party, so maybe some of that.
@KayFiOS Feel ya there. Thankfully I had other wants on Vita like FF6-X2, Persona 1-4, Res Evil 1-3, God of War Collections... I even got Borderlands 2, however that port sucks, blah. Really wished they woulda ported Phantasy Star Portable 1&2 on Vita....
I’m playing a lovely game called studying for exams. You should really give it a try.
Gonna keep at Luigi's Mansion 3 for now.
Finishing up Pokémon Sword and Dragon Quest. Probably move on to Xenoblades Chronicles 2 next Since it’s been sitting unplayed for months. LM3 also on my hit list.
@NintendoByNature Ohh boy. I’ll watch out for that. I’m already noticing a bit of a difficulty spike early on.
What weapon did you use in your play through? I really wanted to use the leather whip, but it’s too slow. Hope to find a chain whip somewhere in the game.
Why are Mario Kart 7's online so hacked? People who hack and randomly put them in 1st place, or having players go last, making them get the better items, need to be banned permanently!! I wish Nintendo would see to this and ban these players from cheating online.
Finally fished Luigi's Mansion 3 on Monday. I really liked it overall but thought it dragged a bit in the final few hours. I then played The Bug Butcher which I picked up a while back on sale and absolutely LOVED it. I beat the story mode in a few hours but I can see my self coming back to it often between games.
Now I have moved on to Steamworld Quest and am about 10 chapters in. I cannot believe how much I am enjoying it so far! I am not the biggest card game guy, however really like what this one offers and hope to have it completed by early next week.
Happy Weekend!
Oh, you beat Rocket League, @Gravitron !? 😮🤔👍😜 (i'm kidding) On a sincere note, do you know if, or how, to leave a Rocket League party without closing the game on the Switch? While I was playing tonight, on the after-game screen with both teams & player stats, someone in my party left the party without leaving the lobby. If someone leaves, their player name & stats go dark, this player didn't go dark and still played in the next game with us. (Side note, they had a Psyonix avatar, so, I assume that means they are on the Switch.)
Finished Tokyo Mirage Sessions last night.
Had an absolute blast with this game! I play JRPG’s, but I rarely see them through to completion, but this one had me hooked from the get go.
It’s a shame we’ll probably never get a sequel.
Onto Thronebreaker now.
@Woomy_NNYes well the PSY logo means they arent on Switch(Switch players are Miis or Nintendo characters). I think that's what you meant. There is a little gray box with a O with a slash thru it right next to the bottom left of the screen where all the player avatars are. You can leave parties there. Hope that answers your question
Blaster Master Zero, Destroyer Mode. Level 6. This is tedious as @$!? because only one gun ever works on any given enemy or boss and half of the Sophia upgrades are missing/late. Happy to have just received the Turret item, because that distracts one important boss.
Unfortunately for today, I wasn't able to get any gaming in, due to having a pretty hectic day. Having said that, I'm looking to rectify things tomorrow, as I plan on playing both Donkey Kong Country Returns, as well as Super Mario 3D Land on the 3DS.
Bought Doom 1, 2 and 3 50% off on PS4
Playing Doom (2016) on PS4
Diablo 3 on Switch
Smash Ultimate, Tetris 99, NES, & SNES Online, Maybe some other things, too.
DQ Builders 2 on Switch and a few matches here and there in Overwatch on pc this weekend.
@Zuljaras Great thanks!
Ninja Saviours, the return of the Warrioirs.
I startes playing the snes version on a hacked new 2ds and a few day later I realized that an improved version had been released for the Switch.
Simply excellent. One of my favorite 2d beat em ups!!
@NotTelevision i almost always used a quick lance for exploring, or a maximum damage type slow sword for bosses. Id Have to go back and look, since I don't remember the names.
@JWF You bought one of those mind erasers so you could play BOTW over and over for the first time? I'm jealous.
Zelda BOTW, started playing it last week and I am absolutely loving it!
@Zenarium I'm jealous of anyone just starting botw, because I want to go through it a first time all over again. It's SO good.
Edit: just saw above, @tseliot said the same thing. Oh well. Its true though.
Witcher 3, 200 hours played so far
Life is Strange 2 and Soul Calibur 6 mainly
Final Fantasy II (SNES with S-Video). Next: Final Fantasy III (SNES) and then maybe Final Fantasy VII (PS1 discs on a PS2 with component cables). All of these games are being played on a CRT. I must say they look fantastic on a CRT as they were designed for.
I bought YET ANOTHER ZOMBIE DEFENSE. It's very good
Was planning to finish up a few games I was near the end of, but got sucked back in to slay the spire again. As much as I bemoan the backlog, switch has so many games I keep going back to rather than finishing anything. First world problems and all that. Hope the storm here in the UK hasn't hit anyone here too hard this weekend!!!
End of the weekend and I only just started playing King of Cards after listening to the latest Nintendo Power podcast. Enjoying it so far - reminds me more of the original Shovel Knight campaign (which was my favourite) rather than Spectre and Plague which I didn’t enjoy as much
Final Fantasy V has been my main game lately. Trying to finally complete the game. Suffered from paralysis of choice at first with the Job system, but started a Four Job Fiesta playthrough (Blue Mage, Sorcerer, Trainer/Beastmaster, Chemist) which has been upped the difficulty (although B. Mage lets me cheese a lot).
Also trying to get further on Y's VIII, and Picross is always a go to when I have nothing else to play. I wish Clubhouse Games would get a re-release for my go to boredom play.
Been playing Three houses non-stop. The story suddenly picked up
@GregamanX
Happy proper birthday now.
@tseliot LOL nothing like that. Playing it for the first time. I'm loving the game so far.
@Woomy_NNYes For three years I thought I wouldn't like this game and now I think of it all day and I count the hours until I can play.
Im playing Smash this weekend
